Her face was strikingly fair, but her entire body appeared faintly transparent like glass under sunlight. She blinked, disoriented, as her gaze settled on a hideous, robotic bird hovering nearby. Its sharp, angular body looked mismatched, with awkwardly stiff wings and an oversized beak that glowed menacingly. It was focused on her lifeless body on the ground, shooting thin, bright laser beams across her body. Hazel stared at the bird, her figure stiffening. "What in the world..." she whispered, her voice echoing faintly. If you're confused, let me explain. Just a few minutes ago, Hazel had been driving, enjoying the breeze through her open window. That's when she noticed a tiny puppy stranded in the middle of the road, trembling and helpless. Her instincts kicked in. Without thinking twice, she swerved, steering the car sharply to avoid hitting it. The puppy was safe. But Hazel wasn't. Her car had crashed, and she died instantly. Now, Hazel had become a ghost. Her body felt strange—light and weightless, yet she could feel every movement as if she were still alive. She floated, her hair billowing as though caught in an invisible current. Then came the noise. Ding! The sound was loud, sharp, and mechanical. Hazel flinched, looking around until her eyes landed on the robotic bird. It was still scanning her dead body with its obnoxious laser beams, beeping and whirring as if annoyed at its own failures. Hazel frowned, watching it from a distance, but after what felt like the tenth scan, her curiosity got the better of her. She floated closer, hovering near the hideous creature. It twitched, almost startled by her presence, before it froze completely. Ding! [Process complete] [Congratulations, soul number XOXO, for binding with the Baby-Raising System!] Hazel blinked, her ghostly hand clutching at her chest out of habit—forgetting she had no heartbeat anymore. "The what system?" [Newbie Packet detected! Festive Season Bonus activated for Host.] Ding! [Opening gift automatically… Bonus Daddy included in every world.] She froze, her hands dropping to her sides. Her mouth opened slightly in disbelief as the robotic bird chirped happily, almost smugly. "Wait... what? Bonus Daddy?!" Hazel's transparent figure seemed to flicker with frustration. Her chest rose and fell as if she was still breathing, though no air passed through her. The bird made another cheerful ding! sound, completely ignoring her shock. "What is this? Some kind of sick prank?" Hazel muttered, pacing in her ghostly form. She glanced at her lifeless body again, then back at the bird, her mind racing. She was dead. That much was obvious. But now she was... stuck in some baby-raising system? "What the heck is going on?" Hazel hissed, throwing her hands up.

Just tell me in the comments. This is a cyberpunk inspired world, so if you see any similarities between certain pieces of tech and what not, I got it from there. This is my first novel so if you like it, tell me what you like about it, if you hate it, tell me what you hate about it, don’t just leave it at 'it sucks'. And one more thing. This is a completely imagined world and the story is fictional.

To this end, Ivar and Aurora are sent to two different planets to gain their allegiance in fighting off the invaders on Máni. He is joined in this effort by the goddess who teleported him, Selene. Selene will help him grow stronger using the energy she gathers from Ivar when he takes action according to his therian nature. Ivar is not a good man, but he cares for those who follow him with devotion and loyalty. Since he is unwilling to see his entire race wiped out, he heads out with every intention to complete his goal of conquering Earth by any means necessary. ******* What can you expect from this novel? A good story with interesting characters and a mature, dominant, uncompromising MC. The system will be relatively light, meaning it won't be all-powerful, and the MC won't get bullied by it. If you enjoy a slightly overpowered villain MC using his unscrupulous methods to work towards a somewhat positive goal while having plenty of sex along the way, you'll enjoy this novel. I intend for Earth to be somewhat of a cyberpunk style, but that won't be the focus. Mainly because the novel involves multiple planets, and so far, I have only planned for Earth to be this way. I will probably do some Netori (meaning MC steals other people's women), but absolutely no Netorare. No Yuri, either. (By which I mean no intimate interactions between harem members without the MC present, but it might happen at his direction and with his presence.) I'll offer a bonus chapter for every review, at least for a little while. Of course, only one per person; bad reviews still count, but they should consist of constructive criticism.
