Han Seoyeon was perceptive to other's feelings and emotions especially the expression used by the woman in front of her now. She had noticed how the woman had been subtly looking down as she spoke and the smile she had wasn't a welcoming one.
"It's good that you are quick to uptake," Gwon Sheiin remarked, "Call Mr. Jung and make sure we have plenty of time together without any guests bothering us."
Han Seoyeon had her smile perfectly intact after the woman ordered her haughtily. "Let me repeat for a moment Ms. Gwon, are you perhaps requesting to have a personal time with Mr. Jung at the party?"
Gwon Sheiin furrowed her brows wondering if the woman was deaf that she can't hear what she had said. "Did you not hear what I've said earlier?"
Han Seoyeon shook her head, "No of course I've heard what you've requested Ms. Gwon." with clarity to note.
"Then go and call Mr. Jung for me." The woman snapped hurriedly. A second late would lead to many other women flocking toward Jung Hwa which she dislikes the most. As Jung Hwa was a pureblood vampire, he was well known through the vampires' society and there is no single lady who would reject him. Although she isn't a pureblood vampiress, she is still a vampire born of a noble family. Jung Hwa who knew this would surely not reject to share a few discussion with her and the secretary although she is dim witted, she must have realized how much of an important person she is by now, Gwon Sheiin thought only to drop her smile when she heard Han Seoyeon's words.
"In that case Ms. Gwon. I would suggest you create your own party which consists of only you." Han Seoyeon gave a harmless smile which was the complete opposite to her words shocked the woman.
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying that if Ms. Gwon wants to have a personal meeting with Mr. Jung, you have to go to certain procedures and orders. Mr. Jung's schedule is filled for this month to the next three months and I doubt the fourth month would have a free slot. But fortunately, there is a way for Mr. Jung to free his schedule and that would only be if there is a party large enough for him to attend and I suggest you to do that because trying wouldn't do any harm right, Miss Gwon?"
It was Gwon Sheiin first time to ever heard someone daring to talk back to her, her face flushed red in surprise. Han Seoyeon had noticed of how a spoiled daughter Gwon Sheiin must have been in her family. Her real personality seemed to be greedy and selfish. Although she hid it well by feigning her kind hearted expression outside, she wouldn't spare her act to a human of a lower breed and it was her mistake.
But even if the woman continued her pleasant acts, Han Seoyeon had noted her request was more than rude. Jung Hwa is now working and the woman should have known better it would be impossible to have Jung Hwa's time in the party for herself.
"I see that you have made an acquaintance with the guests, Secretary Han." Han Seoyeon didn't have to turn her face back to know who was talking to her.
Gwon Sheiin Held her face bright when Jung Hwa arrived toward them. She still had a few words left unsaid to the rude secretary who doesn't know her face but the matter was small compare to being able to talk to Jung Hwa. "Mr. Jung, good evening. My name is Gwon Sheiin. Do you perhaps remember me? We've met once in the night gathering." Her eyes sparkled that she could speak to the pureblood vampire.
"Night gathering, yes I do." Han Seoyeon could pick the lie he told seamlessly through his teeth on the other hand the woman had her cheeks blushing in pink feeling happy that Jung Hwa remembered her.
Jung Hwa would usually put a cold expressionless face when it come to greeting sly woman such as the little vampiress in front of him now. But with the sharp hearing he had, he had took account of all the conversation they had and decided to play along with the amusement.
He pulled a small smile like a grin that the vampiress missed and spoke dully, "Good evening, Ms. Gwon I see that you are not participating in the party, is the party perhaps boring to you?"
Knowing the party had a relevant to Jung Hwa's company the vampiress instantly shook her head. "Of course not, I was just having a small conversation with your secretary." She glared at Han Seoyeon when their eyes met.
Petty woman, Han Seoyeon commented at her heart. Han Seoyeon then bowed her neck lightly to Jung Hwa. "Mr. Jung, do you have something to request?"
"I don't. I just want to see if you are doing your work." What was he thinking? Han Seoyeon could tell how he was scheming something that didn't sit well to her. "But I just heard a little dispute between you two, did my secretary offended you, Ms. Gwon?" Han Seoyeon flashed her gaze to Jung Hwa, giving him hundreds of accuses with her eyes.
He must have known better than her of how the woman was the one who giving her trouble yet why was he siding with her?
Gwon Sheiin saw the chance to complain the disrespectful secretary and twisted a smile to Han Seoyeon. "Actually, it's nothing too big Mr. Jung. I asked to have a small talk with you but unfortunately your secretary instead told that I could only talk to you if I hosted a party." Gwon Sheiin exhaled a troubled sigh.
Han Seoyeon remained composed after Gwon Sheiin's words. Gwon Sheiin may had took a few point from her words, but the woman twisted every words and meaning she could say to be the blameless person in the talk.
How shameless, Han Seoyeon thought but all the wealthy people she knew always had the same trait that it didn't surprise her anymore.
Jung Hwa gave a nod and a concerned gaze for Gwon Sheiin to smile in victory toward Han Seoyeon who she believed her future would be doomed now.
"Secretary Han surely is very capable Secretary," he praised then chuckled to have Gwon Sheiin looking at him in confusion. "She isn't wrong, if you want to have a proper talk with only both of us alone, I agree with my secretary's suggestion to hold a party. Also if I have to add, you should hold a large one or else there wouldn't be any reason for me to attend. It is not easy to have me attend a party or spare a time to have a chit chat, you see."
