Deok Ji Hyeang had his face scrunched in a deep thought like Jung Hwa he had thought of the same thing. The existence of witches are harmful especially to the vampires and although they had been written as extinct the truth was they didn't extinct but vanished. One day centuries ago suddenly the witches disappeared from the world only to be revive now to threaten other's lives.
"We still do not know about that. I heard you will be entering the association Jung Hwa, Mr. Jin had said that you could come by the association building. Do you know where it is?"
"I remember the place." Jung Hwa sang his answer. "Will you be closing the case? What about the witnesses?"
Deok Ji Hyeang gave a nod first to say, "Thankfully there is only one human witness and you can go home now, Miss Han. But please do bear in mind not to speak of a single word what had happened today." and the man closed the door to their room to leave. On his way, he met Chu Sunji with his hand bandages and the corner of his lips was still a trace of blood he had drank to help quickened his body to heal.
A blaze of fury lit up at Chu Sunji's eyes when he saw Deok Ji Hyeang walking out of the room. He stood up walking to him to voice put his inner anger, "Senior Deok that brat he-"
"If you value your life stop calling him brat Sunji, he's different than others." Vampires who lived amongst humans may have forgot their aggressive, obsessive, and their twisted nature but Jung Hwa had stayed true to his blood's nature and lived in the principle of how a pureblood had always lived. If there is one word Deok Ji Hyeang would have to use to describe vampires like Jung Hwa it would be ruthless. He was staying tame right now but he know better the young pureblood was feigning his tameness. Now that the witchesses who he suspected to have killed his mother resurfaced, it was time for him to enter the Associations.
Deok Ji Hyeang sighed not having an ounce of eagerness to look out for the future.
Inside the room, Han Seoyeon lifted her eyes and saw Jung Hwa starting to take off his bloodied suits and the white shirt which was splattered by blood like a red paint that had been splashed toward him.
After he had taken off his suit, he began to unbutton the two first button from his collar and met her eyes. "Are you going to watch me strip?" he teased with a grin.
"Strip?!" Han Seoyeon gulped to look away to say, "Why are you stripping here?" she protested where Jung Hwa gave her a more surprised face.
"Why? My clothes are drench with blood now you don't expect me to go out with this attire do you?" He then saw her blushed cheek and played a smirk over his lips. "I do understand the difficulty in avoiding your eyes when something appetizing is laid in front of you. As I'm being generous today, you could see me strip to your heart content."
Han Seoyeon pulled herself all together to feel blood rushing to her cheeks, "Can you please not make me sound like a pervert?"
"Is enjoying me striping is counted as being pervert? But being a pervert for me is a good thing you should be enjoying it and felt grateful for the grace." he grinned, playfully enjoying their conversation without having a shame where Han Seoyeon felt she needed more cold air.
"I wonder where did your confidence come from," Sighing, Han Seoyeon felt her lips dry and licked her lower lips subtly she didn't look behind but she could feel his eyes burning on her back watching all the littlest move she made. She didn't dare to look back nor imagine how he would look now with his upper body naked. Hoping that he would start dressing and could do it fast, she heard the shruffling sounds as fabric
"That is wrong Seoyeon. This isn't a confidence but the fact." Even without having to look, Han Seoyeon could imagine the smile he had. The smile that was more like a smirk that often brought her on edge.
As they were speaking, Jung Hwa slid the black fabric of the shirt and began to button up his shirt and stopped to forget the top three buttons after his collar. As it was the shirt that he took randomly, it was smaller in size only to create a tightness as his toned arm muscle wrapped with the black shirt. Not minding the tightness as it wasn't too intolerable he walked toward her. One of his hand was jammed on his pocket and Han Seoyeon only realize he was walking toward her until she felt his shadow towering behind her.
"What are you doing?" She asked flustered to meet his red eyes observing her whole figure.
"I was wondering if you will be alright even after you had seen that." he meant witnessing Gwon Sheiin dead, "But if you still have the energy to talk back to me that would mean you are fine." he smiled a gentle smile to trail on his devilish crimson lips.
When Gwon Sheiin was mentioned, Han Seoyeon felt the fear she had almost forgotten caught up to her leg. Her throat felt parched and dry and a slight tremor could be picked slightly when a flash or red played again in her eyes. It was her first time to ever seen a dead body, a person who had just been speaking well with her before and now the woman was dead. The feeling was indescribable to her. There was fear and surprise but there was also the relief as if Jung Hwa didn't killed the woman she would have died first.
"Was there no other way than killing her?" she said in pity as a human. She didn't know why Jung Hwa wasn't surprise nor had any changes after killing Gwon Sheiin not that she blamed him or find him blood curdling but she felt odd for being the one shaken after seeing someone dead but she knew it was due to the fact that they were different creatures. One a human and the other a pure blood vampire who live with blood and dead bodies behind him.
