Falling from that great height, I thought I was going to have a lot of wounds; however, I am glad that it was not like that. My advantages in my animal form and the dense trees helped amortize the fall. Although, I did have small wounds around my body. I was not overly concerned about my situation, as I had already survived a few months in a forest, so I didn't consider that doing the same thing again would be too difficult.
I decided to start my way trying to familiarize myself with the terrain, first trying to find a place where you can get food and something to drink. While walking slowly, I saw a large black figure that looked like it was feeding on its little prey. At first, I was quite scared, but when I looked closer I noticed that this animal had the same eyes. Therefore, it was not a wild animal, but a human trapped in that body. Therefore, feeling glad that I had found someone like me, I quickly approached him.
As I approached, I tried to talk to him, but only animal sounds came out of my mouth, impossible to understand. Besides that, he didn't seem interested in anything other than the prey he was consuming. So, I got closer to him. I was very curious about what he was eating. Firstly because I wanted to know what you could eat in this great forest, and secondly I wanted to see why he was so amazed at the prey he was eating. But what I saw left me cold.
The animal he was consuming was already too shattered to know what it was, but I could see his eyes, they were the same as mine. I remembered that in the teachings we had been told that if you spend enough time in your animal form you lose your mind. I understood that the true punishment of the forest of oblivion is not to become an animal, but that you lose all your humanity and there is no going back.
