The teachings today lasted longer than usual, the priestess of the tribe took us into the forest to see some edible and medicinal plants. My colleagues are not very interested in these topics, they feel that as long as they have meat to eat, they do not need to consume anything else. They do not understand that food in the tribe is scarce every winter and due to the low temperatures, there is no way to help any family. Every winter our population declines and the women in the tribe are not fertile enough to create new offspring quickly.
The only way to solve this problem is by making our diet more varied and with medicinal herbs that improve the health, strength, and fertility of the members of the tribe. Or well that's what I think, my twin brother thinks that I have a lot of imagination and that my ideas are not realistic.
When I arrived at the tribe, it had a different smell, it can be seen that the hunters have already returned with enough meat to feed the tribe for a time. The hunters are those who have one of the most representative roles in the tribe, since they, in addition to looking for food, are in charge of eliminating the dangerous wild animals that can attack the village and observe if there are movements from other tribes.
My father, the village leader, always says that we must be prepared to attack any threat. There are times when I would like to be like my twin and my father. Strong and determined when it comes to attacking and killing. However, I am more of the type of man who thinks of strategies for the tribe's long-term survival.
