Chapter 10 - The end of the fighting

"I may never walk again." I sobbed out. I will never understand what happened next. The sound stopped and changed to laughter.

"One eye for your legs far trade." Said a cruel voice. I tried to remember, but reality hit to hard. I breathing got heavier and tears just rolled down my face.

"Then I will be going. I'm taking her to the hospital." said the dragon up above me. In a flash to bright for my eyes a man stood.

"You are not done here I want to see another fight with you." hissed the man my memory was still spoty for my fight.

"You still want to fight have you really not seen enough?" I was carefully lifted my upper body hurt. I was stuck trusting he would not drop me because I couldn't hang on his neck.

The little dragon crawled onto his shoulders whimpering. "I am the lord here I make the rules." I was pulled out of my head by this man's tantrums. Did he really have that kind of power?

"I don't think you have any power over me. One I am the Lord of Arondale and a prince over the whole of this kingdom. You can ask me politely, but I remains my choice. I like your son wise. I don't want to hurt him. After seeing the way you act after your daughter was hurt I am reluctant to fight." I was between them.

"You will fight for him." with a snap of his fingers the cruel man had a Daten in chains with a dagger at his throat. I could feel the growl in his throat, but he was not the one that acted.

There was two dragons that took straight to him. He put up his sword to block. I was moved away quickly. As the dragons one taking the man holding Daten the other the lord. Neither had time to reacted. They were both dead with in a minute. Mental note don't anger or mess with those two.

"Who is next? Come on who really likes fighting that much." The dragon that killed the lord said. No one moved. "Go home nothing more here to see."

The seats began to become empty as everyone left. "You better run this region better then your father did Akan."

"He should have never threatened the kings son." Said the dragon carrying me out of the arena.
