As Link pulled the black car we rode in to my house, I stepped outside and thanked him.
"Anytime Miss, it's my pleasure" Link said bash fully.
I giggled at this.
As link drove away I decided to stand in front of my house for the minute to take things in.
So....... this morning I had a fight with my stepmother which brings me to this moment where I finally made it back home.
Now what?
I guess..... No, I should eat breakfast before anything.
It was a bit of a hike to get from Link's drop off point back to my house.
I lived in a suburban area up in a mountain secluded from the rest of Korea.
It's not that I didn't like the public, it was that I didn't like the rumors my stepfamily spread while I was there.
I also didn't quite enjoy the luxury of living in a glass building. It was to spacious and having maids who I didn't even know live in my house just felt weird.
As I bearded my little house- cottage in the woods I felt myself take in the view.
I was now on top of a mountain in Korea.... great.
I looked out across the grassy mountain that was hidden thanks to the dense trees. I was glad for their protection actually. I couldn't see the city from here and that made it all the more peaceful.
The sun barely was able to reach into the meadow where my cottage lied. I was happy and I touched one of the light oak trees. I missed the pine trees in the London parks but you could find oak trees if you looked in Korea.
I trudged along the stone steps I set for myself to finally make my way back to the front door from the backyard that was densely covered in prickly rose bushes and fruit bushes.
As I stepped into the doorway I grabbed out my key and whispered "open sesame" as I flung open my door.
My cute dog indoors that I had named Giraffe jumped on me as soon as I opened the door.
"Ahhhhh no tickles boy!" I squealed in delight as Giraffe licked my face with his pink mouth.
Giraffe was a lovely friendly dog. He was a Labrador mix with cream colored fur and odd brown dots.
I usually left the doggy door open for him but he must've come home early in hope that I would give him breakfast this morning.
I got up from the doorsteps and took out his bowl with his flavored meat.
I am a vegetarian so I don't eat meat but Giraffe needs it for his survival so he can get as much as he wants.
If I could understand what he said in human language when I gave him his food it would be "god bless you Emma."
I chuckled at my own remark.
I then took out my own breakfast which consisted of hard boiled eggs over Classical Japanese ramen.
I decided to eat outside this morning as I opened the from door and sat in the patio in front of the backyard.
It took some daydreaming and eating to finally finish the afternoon as I got up and went inside to put the dishes away.
I went outside again for a stroll in the evening.
I don't know, but I hope I find something worthwhile in this boringness house in the middle of nowhere.
