The boy named Alam Cot sure was a mystery.
Putting aside the rude behavior he had, he sure was beautiful not to mention handsome.
It was a shame when I had to decline his invitation to go to this so called "Griseo Mundi."
I bet it would've been a nice fantasy world where it would sap away all my worries. Who knows, I might've even been able to find my special someone there though.
However, I had a house(cottage), a family (Giraffe), a job (walking in the woods), and a happy life (not really) here!
I sighed in defeat.
Who was I joking.
I was pretty much miserable here.
Still, in all the fantasy books I read with beautiful heroines and fantastic plots, the heroine is faced with just as much pain in the fantasy world as she is in the normal world.
Besides, I am not that pretty if you are wondering (lies).
"STOP CORRECTING ME!" I screamed at Alam.
He put his hands over his ears and stuck his red little mouth out at me wi5 his eyes squeezed shut.
"I told you not to mess with me while I write in my diary!" I said as I chased his up to the second floor of my house.
"Well how about you let me take you to Griseo Mundi then!" He shouted as he dashed here and there in my house as I tried to grab him.
"To bad brat!" I said as I lunged for him.
I caught the little kid in my arms and lifted him up by the armpits.
"Stop it granny you are gonna rip my raincoat!" He whined.
I sighed.
It has been about a week since that incident in the woods.
Alam said that he can't go back home to Griseo Mundi unless he brings back a human. I am guessing based on assumption that he isn't human letting alone the fact that he isn't some poor families runaway kid.
Alam has been staying with me lately as we both live off the fund from what was supposed to be my colleague funds but was given to me as I completed colleague by the time others competed high-school.
I gave Alam some of my hand me downs and he has taken an interest in raincoats.
"They are holly coats of honor!" He screamed as I took it off him.
"Ya they sure are and that means they need to be washed" I said in a calm tone letting myself think of the one hundred ways to punch his little white head.
I gave him a blue red shirt.
His eyes went from grumpy to fear.
"Come on..." I sighed.
Here it come again.
"Red is the color of fire that burns that ground in hell" Alam said as he jumped on my couch and his behind my light blue pillow.
"But you like yellow, and yellow is associated with the sun which is fire" I reasoned with the brat.
"But that's different because the sun is closer to heaven!"
Whoever raised this brat in Griseo Mundi or whatever sure believed in European gods from Earth. Strange how religion can spread to even other worlds. Or maybe it was just another dimension.
Putting away the red shirt and handing Alam a light blue one instead, I asked him a question.
"I don't know if you know, but is Griseo Mundi a different dimension or world?"
Alam tilted his head so his shoulder length white hair that was slightly curly all went to one side or his head.
"Griseo Mundi is just another term for heaven" he replied as if it where a fact.
Realization dawned on me.
"HAY!" I screamed and made Alam jump from his spot in front of the TV.
"Where you trying to kill me you little devil!" I said taking away the remote from him.
"What do you mean!?" He screamed back reaching towards me as I dogged his flying hands for the remote.
"You where trying to take me to heaven!" I shouted into his head as he put his tiny body hon me trying to weigh me down.
We where now in the position where I was fully lying down on my back with Alam sitting cross cross applesauce on me.
He pinch his button nose in between his eyes.
"I said" he said his voice quivering, "Griseo Mundi is a "term" that specifies heaven."
I relaxed.
"Ohhhhhhhh" I said handing him back the remote.
He took back the remote and gestured to the screen.
"Weather forecasts say it's gonna be foggy out in the mountains" he said reminding me what the annoying lady on screen said every morning.
I nodded.
"And?"
"And that means it's perfect weather for flying" Alam hinted with a bit of hand movement motioning to the sky.
I looked at him like "so what."
"So this is your last chance to go to heav- Griseo Mundi" He said flapping his arms like wings.
I sighed.
"You know what!? Why not!" I said suddenly with vigor.
Alam's eyes lit up.
"Really!?"
"Ya, it's gonna be stormy the week after tomorrow so why not go somewhere in the meantime."
Alam jumped up and hugged me tightly.
"Thank you pancake lady!" He said with a bright blushed face.
I smiled but then instantly noticed his remark.
"PANCAKE LADY!?"
