The sun shone golden and purple rays of light through my curtain onto my bed. In the morning I woke up and showered and brushed my teeth, I looked at mum she was sitting at the crescent table just sitting and staring at a picture if her and dad on the wall. I quickly hurried to school because I had woken up late.
I immediately rushed into school and sat down in my seat heaving for air, some people looked at me because I was breathing loudly, I mean I had just sprinted to school and managed to make it to school.
Miss Dilica came in and said,
"Hello, students we are going to learn about an ancient story from another planet."
"We are going to be talking about a topic which is very sensitive so none of you should mention this outside of school am I clear? It's confidential."
Everyone nodded silently she shut the blinds and turned on the soundproof switch on the wall in the room. Me and my friends were a bit curious and confused as to why it was so 'confidential'. Plus if it was why was she telling us?
Then suddenly a huge aqua blue light lit up the room as the hologram spread all around us wrapping around the room like a blanket. A loud voice came from it it was Miss Diliica's voice just in the Hologram.
Miss Dilica sat down and closed her eyes and tapped the hologram and it began to play. Unfolding a story, a story about a girl not a story rather like a prophecy.
About a girl who was going to change the world.
"There was once a time traveller who travelled the galaxies, no one knew how long she had been there wondering, she had many names and she had and a different history for each one. How much magic had she stolen; no one knew, or how many planets she had travelled. No one one knew anything about her she was something, someone who simply can't be understood by our simple minds, no one knew what her motive was except for one obvious fact she had been looking for something or someone.
This time traveller took magic and spread to several different planets. The hidden God in control watching.
Just watching.
Until.
They realised someone or something was aware of their existence but it was impossible. They realised she had been taking the magic from them right beneath their eyes, but she was so powerful. Powerful enough to face a God whose power was infinite. No. All her magic the stolen magic was taken. So she fled people still say she is still wondering galaxies and travelling through time to find that speck of magic or possibly something more.
Then another powerful being who was actually considered a maiden of the gods, betrayed them when she knew of the great power they had been hiding. But she was caught in her acts and was stripped of all her powers and locked away in a crescent moon for all eternity.
Meanwhile, the gods took back all the magic and destroyed several planets, but few planets survived. The gods caused destruction everywhere in search of magic, a few of that magic just a speck was left. This was because they knew of the great power of this magic it was different from Galactic magic which was collected from star dust.
While somewhere far -
That speck wondered galaxies in search of an owner gaining much more power and much more magic than just a speck of magic should ever have. Then finally arrived at a destination in a replica of the same galaxy where magic existed in peace. Where it had found its home it settled down on a place called Exylus.
The only thing that was different was the name because the original name of the planet that the speck of magic came from was called Earth. That Earth was left to scraps but somehow they managed to completely rebuild and create a new civilization beyond the knowledge of the others.
What happened to that speck of magic is unknown, but people say that Crescentia, a woman of legend, knew its secrets. It is said that the books contained hidden meanings. Some say that Crescentia is locked up in a tower on a Crescent moon.
Crescent moons are known to move as they are attracted to large amounts of magic. But there are no crescent moons anymore. However recently in South Serica there was a sighting which was reported to our foundation. No one has ever seen her face."
When I heard Crescentia I felt chills and I thought back to that dream I had it definitely meant something, I felt like everything was connected in a way that I just didn't understand yet.
The whole class was so quiet we all listened silently to the hologram play we all wondered why they were telling us so much information that could possibly get us killed.
Malkaya whispered over to me, "This is probably the most interesting lesson we have ever had. I mean I didn't know that legend they told us when we were young was true..."
She looked surprised, but still, her eyes glued to the hologram which showed us pictures of how a crescent moon looked like I mean I had never actually seen one crescent moon as it stopped showing up decades ago before I was born.
I thought hard about everything I looked at Julian he looked extremely curious too. Miss Dilica,
"The person is...."
Everyone eagerly waited for her reply only to hear silence.
Then, she looked me straight in the eye as if the whole world just paused and she said,
" Ask him he has been there he knows everything you need to know Irene and much more, it's time people let you know about your own destiny."
Then everything went back into motion.
Did she mean Julian? No. Of course not he's my brother. Then...
Lu Jinyu, he is the only possible explanation he isn't even from here, so does he know what Miss Dilica is talking about?
I even thought about the dream and our crescent table and for some reason.
Dad.
I was lost in thoughts then I wondered for a second did she meant I was that speck of magic...
No of course not, I hated the thought of being different from everyone else all I ever wanted to do was to fit in with everyone else my whole life, so why? Why was this happening now? I just wanted to live happily with Julian and Mom and Lu J-
"Then suddenly the bell rang and the blinds sprang up and Miss Dilica stood up and daylight poured out onto the classroom like glazed honey.
I squinted my eyes and saw helicopters outside our window. The wind was violent and loud, and helicopters surrounded our building. People broke down the door and rushed in with lasers. Everyone screamed and ducked down while they moved toward Miss Dilica, who was simply standing there without a single crease on her forehead. At that moment, I realized just what an amazing person Miss Dilica was.
"Naria Dilica you are under arrest under Exylian governing law."
