Chapter 24 - Nice chats

Juny was not so sure he liked his new nickname or being away from everyone that he knew, though most of the staff visited daily and the women around gave him lots of sweets, but it was quite obvious that training here was better.

Exchanging the rapier for the twin sabers, he began moving them around to get an idea for their weight and length. It was the fifth set of weapons he was going to...

"Juny!" Came the booming voice of his master as he lifted him into a hug, the blades pressed against him not making even a cut on his cut. "Look at your hair, you need to cut it or put it in, no, if we get you on a pony tail you may just repeteadly be assaulted." Aki shook his head, puting his diciple on the ground again. "I have great news. You see, during this trip i ended up fusing all my martial arts together, creating an entirely new move set that will greatly benefit anyone that has the spare body parts to use it with a hint of mastery, so i'm teaching it to you!" He exclaimed, only getting a brief nod and zero worry about the morbid comment. "The great part about it, is that by ussing such martial art you may just be able to hurt E2!"

Taking a moment to remenber the who that was, Juny suddenly frowned and determination practically burned behind the actual blood flooding his eyes.

"Teach me." He icily said.

"The magical words." Aki smiled, completly ignoring the boy about to throw a tantrum.

"...su"

"I didn't hear you."

"HAAAAAA!"

'Almost.' Aki thought as he left the boy in inane suspension right in front of him. He could still move regularly, but no matter how much he hit, waved or threw whatever was inside his dimentional ring it'd simply slow down and plop on the ground as if it'd already had performed it's expected arc. He himself just stayed on the same spot even though he'd ran a couple kilometers already.

Accelerating time until he was completely tired, Aki asked again, but it took a bit before he had enough breath to properly answer.

A bit earlier.

"You know, if it wasn't for you being such an unsuferable cunt, maybe he wouldn't have bouts of histery entirely focused on killing whatever is around him." Aki told the woman laying naked on the massage table. There was no need for restraints, but bellow the table she laid at there was a small pool body made from a pitch black material.

"Maybe one day you could have become something that actually ressembles a human." He admitted, not enjoying this as much as he wished. "But no, someone as misguided as you would never change without first causing decades or centuries of suffering."

"Beginning record of prototype parasite number 3. Twelve hour infection test, one parasite, high quality host body." He said, turning on a camera and taking out a small metal orb, holding it right above her spine's base before a small black worm fell out of it, screeched and faded inside a rapidly closing wound on it's landing point.

He'd spend the next hours with the live feed from the array of cameras on the room running on his phone and go teach Juny his new martial art. Granted, it was more like a compendium or computer code holding forms for several occasions and energy sources availabilities, but it still counted since it mainly relied on the core concepts of his fighting stile and had proper stances of movements that would serve any one fighting ability.

"R1, note the results down, S5, retrieve the pool contents while I deal with the host." Receiving no answer from the soldier and a fixed state from the researcher, Aki approached the specimen filled with black postules and blackened veins.

"Specimen was sedated and fully controlled by prototype three, which currently resides within the base of her cranium. No visible swelling or problems caused by the finger sized insertion on the region. The production of new instances through the use of the host peeked at ten per hour. Absorption of the surrounding's energy doubled the normal amount during cultivation of current host.

Soul corrosion at 11%. No signs of developing new mutations. Overall a good step towards the actual goal of breeding a special brand of void leeches. The tests of soft removal of prototype 3 shall begin after collection of new strand's young, which will be directed towards permanent elimination save for the previously determined amount for a future test group." All this was frantically scribed by the seemingly deranged man mumbling behind Aki, who was remotely examining the current state of E2 with his energy.

Several hours later, Aki determined that besides removing the affected brain and soul parts, there was no way to rid a patient of the leech's influence.

That is, without a lot of salt. By temporarily raising the host's salinity to an almost lethal levels, it was possible to remove the parasiting leech, though it'd rapidly look for another host.

The addition of the light element to the mixture of any such salts or further toxin removing techniques also greatly raised the speed of dispersal, though the reason for the chemicals also being affected still needed further study.

"Great work you two, humanity is that bit safer before we connect to the rest of the galaxy. Tomorrow we will try dune spiders." He pointed out, making the two still on the room flinch for diferent reasons.

One of them because she was literally unable to even direct her anger at the young man standing in front of her, and the other one because he was highly afraid of spiders.

Not much bothering with the criminals with perfectly working mental/soul shackles, Aki went away from his lab and upwards to the basement.

It was time for the global announcement.

The meeting hall was connected to several teleportation pods, so it was impossibly easy to get there. Finding his seat, however, was something that required a bit more if his para-human strength.

Using his red haired companion as a landmark was not an option, there were a lot of hot nerds following fat and/or old bastards, so instead he just walked through the networking politicians and reporters and asked the heading spirit rank magnate.

"Senior gray, sorry to interrupt, but would you know where my colleague is? I'm unable to find her without alerting the whole place."

"It is no bother, though she actually just went to the bathroom. Sit with me, will you? It's been kind of hard to calmly shove away so many people." The handsome old man shrugged and smiled a bit more truthfully.

"I'm afraid I have to decline. I have a great inability to spent too long without cursing." He replied, making the older cultivator chuckle.

"So did I long ago. It's fine, just be on the table before the transmission begins."

"I am also heading the meeting? That is relatively unexpected, but doesn't really change my plans." Aki shrugged. He'd not been wearing any piercings or earings exactly because he expected to have to speak some lines anyway.

"You didn't know? Do you perhaps not have a translator then?"

"No, but that won't be a problem, I have a spell for that. Since I'll be here, could you tell me who else is heading this conference?"

"Uhm, that'd be me, the eastern representative, the western representative and the presidents of America, Russia, India and China."

Nodding, Aki sat down and messaged Minty that he was there.

There was a surprisingly small amount of politicians that tried to talk to him. Reporters, not so much. Half was rapidly convinced to leave him alone when he said he was just an upstart that got lucky. One seemingly felt entitled to be an idiot and kept asking him, so he treathned to start ignoring everyone else too. She didn't believe him, so he just pulled out earphones, the kind that completely covered the ears, and began listening to heavy rock before signaling her to continue.

All this was before Minthy got back from the bathroom and started repeling people for him.

And so, the meeting was basically over when Aki turned his brain on again. The whole thing was basically a repeat of information he already knew anyway, so it was quite hard on his concentration. He'd even began revising the multiplication table until 100, ten or twenty numbers at a time.

"What, my turn to speak? Ok. So, everyone watching has probably noticed i'm the outlier here, neither a very important person, celebrity or politician, and i really don't know what was spoken about me already thanks to my ability to turn off the conversations around me, a life saving ability for anyone that has spent enough time practicing it to a usable level really, so i will introduce myself. Name's Aki, yes just Aki, my name before was too much of a mouthfull so i changed it, a relatively common man in his twenties. The reason i'm here in this table is that i was technically chosen as the most appropriate person to be integrated into normal cultivation standarts and be able to use the oportunities reserved for those able to face the greatest dangers in any way possible. You may think of me as a lifeline for this planet, since i've already spread the knowlegde nescessary for grownth and survival to other, more capable people. I'm, also technically, the strongest person on earth. Could just make a hole to the core of the planet and break the whole thing really. Now, of course that won't happen, my family is very much still alive and my mother in specific would never let me live down the fact I condemned earth even if I somehow saved all those I love and care with a space bubble or something. I'm very much stuck with whatever hits our home planet just like everyone else. That is why I will be making a school of mages raised at my own image. Somethings just can't be passed down on paper, and sometimes those exact things might be what will definite death and life for someone. I cannot and will not take on the responsibility of safeguarding each and every life. I'd much rather teach people to fish than to try and fish for every child hungering around the world. It's more efficient and a much lighter burden to bear. While there certainly are sects and rogue cultivators all around the world, it cannot be expected of them to just protect everyone either. While I would never suggest all children should just turn into soldiers to defend their motherland, I'm saying that people will likely start expecting exactly that if they reach a certain level of despair. Such level of panic is unacceptable. At the very least a fast response team is nescessary, but my ultimate goal is to raise all of the population to the point where humanity will be the top predators again. That we can joke about American fathers making monster barbecues, that the japonese may fawn over idols with natural animal features, the english parliament be filled with old man that prove their point by beating each other to the floor with their fists and have tea together later or whatever other stereotype you may want to add! That is all!"

Aki couldn't hear or see it, but his 'relatable' speech gave many a spark of hope and a small smile. Something many people around the world needed right now.

Not everyone can just hear the world is going to be invaded and start moving. Not everyone would instantly believe it either, but there was little chance in keeping that kind of thinking when the world leaders believed it.

When change comes, only those that fall running will have a chance at survival. Or those dragged by the neck by someone willing to carry them.

Aki wasn't a leader or a baby sitter, but he could be a simble and was more than willing to use the chance to fix issues he'd seen in humanity since he was little.

Meanwhile, at the underworld.

"Do you think I chose the right guy? That seemed a lot like..."

"No dear, he's not becoming crazy with the idea of command. You think I'd let someone similar to Zeus anywhere near our daughters?"

"You're right, it just hurts to remember that day."
