Chapter 16 - C:15 Bad Parents

Continuation of Paris's POV:

Richard was inside on the piano bench, his fingers gracing over the keys as he played his mysterious melody on it, the one that had lured me into the piano room five years ago. Dante stood nearby, looking out the window.

"If he's going to be in his throne room like you say he will be... then we'll have to surround it then enter it cautiously," Dante said and glanced towards Richard.

"Yes, we'll take the rest of the castle... and drive to the very center where his throne room is then take him. My mother will be with him... and my brother... my brother might be in there as well or in his room," Richard hummed out and struck a chord that sent a shiver through me. I walked in and up to Richard before I leaned over and grabbed his hands. He tensed against me then looked up at me as he paused then purred, moving his hands to continue playing as he looked at the piano. I let go of his hands and purred. I heard soft footsteps then coming for us. Richard glanced behind us then to see who it was, continuing his piano playing. I looked behind me, finding Laurence there and rubbing his eyes. Dante looked towards Laurence then frowned as Richard stopped playing and stood up. "Laurence, did I wake you?" He asked him and grabbed my hand.

"Yeah," Laurence muttered.

"I'll play later then," Richard murmured then sighed. "I didn't mean to wake you, Laurence. I didn't think you'd hear it." I just wanted to play the piano! I'm going to have to put a piano in Paris's castle if there isn't one in there already.... I'll play every day.

"You didn't have to stop playing," Laurence told him. Richard smiled then.

"Are you sure?" He asked then let go of my hand. He walked over to Laurence then picked him up before he laughed. "How about you sit with me while I play since how you're up?" He took him over to the bench and sat down again, putting Laurence in his lap before he started back up, running his fingers over the piano with ease. Laurence leaned back against Richard's chest and purred lightly as he shut his eyes. I sat down on the bench quickly with them and eyed Laurence over. Richard looked towards me and smirked. I bet he wants where Laurence is sitting.... He looked back at the piano then and hummed along to the music, gently giving Laurence a kiss on the top of his head as he watched him. Laurence gave a soft smile and looked towards Richard's hands. I eyed them both over and gave a small smile. Richard looks good with a kid in his arms. I heard Richard purr a little before he gently took Laurence's hands and guided them to the piano, having Laurence press the keys as he used his fingers over Laurence's to guide him. Laurence eyed over the keys before he started to play our song on his own. Richard laughed and took his hands away to watch him curiously, looking pleased. I purred and leaned in towards Richard's ear.

"I like you like this... you look like a dad," I teased him quietly. He blushed a little and looked down at Laurence then at me.

"Like a dad?" He asked me softly. "I guess Laurence looks a little like you. His hair is white like yours." He laughed a little then. I blushed and eyed Laurence over.... Yeah... He does resemble me with his white hair. "Are you wanting kids?" Richard teased me and purred. I blushed a bright red.

"No," I told Richard. "We don't need any kids right now except for this little guy~" I rubbed Laurence on the head quickly. Richard purred then kissed me passionately, slipping an arm around my waist and pulling me over to him so I was leaned up against him. He moved back from the kiss then rubbed Laurence's head, purring happily. Laurence purred before he stopped playing and laughed softly. I frowned and listened into his thoughts before catching images of a little girl with white hair. Is it my daughter in the future? Richard kissed the top of Laurence's head and purred before he went back to playing himself.

"You're right," Richard told me. "We have Laurence~" He smiled and gave me a loving look before he glanced down at Laurence. "He even can play our song...." Dante shook his head then disappeared, leaving the three of us as I heard Alex walking off. Laurence sighed softly before glancing my way.

"You need to hurry up and defeat your parents. I told you that you only have a month left." He gave a small frown.

"I know," I whispered.

"A month..." Richard murmured. "Why a month? I know we must move quickly... but why are you specifying a month? You say it like something will happen."

"You want motivation?" Laurence asked.

"Motivation is always nice," Richard purred out and laughed.

"Paris's sister depends on it." I frowned and tensed up. I don't have a sister…

"What sister?" Richard asked and stopped playing, his fingers freezing up as he looked down at Laurence sharply.

"When Paris was disowned, they had to make another child to have the throne... but they conceived a girl." Laurence explained. Richard frowned then looked at me.

"You have a sister.... She's not that old either. It's only been five years," he whispered. "She needs help." I got up quickly and widened my eyes.

"Laurence, why didn't you say something to me before?" I asked.

"I'm telling you now to give you more motivation. Girls can't rule a throne. You know what they'll do to her in a month."

"They wouldn't kill her, would they?" Richard asked quickly and frowned. "If they were looking for another heir, they should've had another kid after learning she was a girl."

"The probability of them discarding her is more likely to cover up the small mistake from Dracula. Parents have done it before. They get rid of their children after their cute stages."

"So, they'll toss her into the streets?" Richard growled out and narrowed his eyes. "How horrible.... How could they discard their own child? That was born from them...." He clenched his jaw and I saw his eyes start to glow red before the piano banged shut and he stood up, holding onto Laurence then turned to me. "Let's get rid of my father right now. I want his body at my feet... and I want him to pay for everything he's ever done. I want his life ended... and I want your parents to feel despair," he snarled out. Laurence ran his fingers through Richard's hair before moving out of his arms.

"Go get them and kill them," he told us. "End it." Richard narrowed his eyes then looked at me before he held his hand out to me.

"Join me," he told me and exposed his fangs. "We'll go right the wrongs of our parents and make them pay for their sins," he snarled. The light in his eyes had changed, taking on the darker part of his soul. I nodded and grabbed his hand. I wouldn't wish something so horrible on anyone... especially not my baby sister. We were suddenly standing in my mate's castle, inside the throne room of his father. I could feel the air was heavier on my shoulders as I suddenly felt his father's eyes on me.

"So... you've come at last. I was wondering when you were going to crawl out of your dark holes," his father hummed out. "I thought I'd be next. When will this game be over, boys? This petty rebellion was doomed to fail from the beginning- just a fleeting stage that will be put down by me. How long have you trembled at night, Richardo? You must've been dreading this day, coming here to fight me. You know what I'll do to the two of you." My eyes landed on his father's figure sitting on the throne, looking at us calmly as he had his head propped up on his hand and his legs crossed. I eyed over his father and tensed up. This is.... a bad idea. To come alone... and did Richard just teleport? Richard snarled at him then.

"How could I dread coming here if I've been looking forward to killing you," he hissed and started for the throne.

"You know that won't work," his father told him and snapped his fingers. "Richardo, on your knees." Richard groaned and held his chest before he gave a sharp cry of pain. "Don't you get it? I'm king for a reason. On. Your. Knees." Richard sunk down quickly and hung his head. "Good boy." Dracula smirked and got to his feet. "You knew it would happen. You came here to die, not kill me." He walked over to Richard who started to tremble. "You can't disobey me, no matter how much you want to." I hissed and got in front of Richard to protect him.

"Back off of him," I hissed. "He's my mate and your time is up!" I yelled at him. "He's ready to kill you." His eyes flashed to me and he smirked, his eyes locking onto mine.

"Is that so? Then if you're so blood thirsty... kill Richardo," he ordered me. I could feel my mind fogging up a little as I felt a strange feeling like I should obey him. But... why should I obey him? What would I gain except heartbreak? He's not the Dracula I obey…

"I don't obey you," I hissed out stubbornly and shook my head to clear it. "Richardo is the only Dracula I obey." He widened his eyes slightly then hissed.

"You WILL obey me," he snarled. I suddenly felt a pang in my stone. "Compulsion is not my only trick," he hissed. "I didn't think you'd take after your father and be able to compel as well. Chain Richardo up, or I'll make it Hell for you." I felt my stone starting to panic and the roots drawing back at the sound of his voice. "You're a pureblood. I can control your stone and force you into submission," he hissed. "You'll do what I tell you."

"Don't listen to him," I heard Grimm whispering in the back of my mind. "You're not just a pureblood. You're a demon. You come directly from my blood line." I blinked a few times before I shook my head and exposed my fangs at Dracula.

"Never," I yelled at Dracula. "I'm not just a pureblood," I hissed out and started for him quickly, determined to knock him down a size or two. He narrowed his eyes then smacked me, sending me to the ground before he grabbed my shirt and yanked me to him.

"Little brat," he snarled and went for my fangs.

"Let him go," Richard said quickly. Dracula paused and looked towards my mate.

"What was that?"

"I said... let my mate go," he hissed. I saw Richard pick his head up then, glaring at his father before he disappeared. Dracula suddenly fell over to the ground then was sent crashing into his throne, breaking it. Richard appeared in front of me and started for his father, narrowing his eyes. "I'm a Dracula too, whether you like it or not. I was born to take your throne from you, and I was born to be with my mate. I was born to bite, to feed, to kill, to take.... I'm stronger than you, and you know it. If I truly came here to die, I would've died a long time ago, and you know it." He cracked his knuckles then smirked before he snatched his father up and punched him. "I'm Richardo Dracula, and you're going to fear my name," he hissed then slammed his father down before he stomped on his chest. I heard his father hiss out in pain before he glared at Richard then teleported behind him, going for his stone, but my mate whirled around quickly and snatched his hand, breaking it before he narrowed his eyes and slung him into a wall, breaking it. I eyed the fight over in amazement and gasped. Wow... that's my mate. He can do it. He can destroy his very own father. His father sat up quickly then narrowed his eyes.

"You're not going to go down easily, are you?" He hissed then got up and appeared in front of him, grabbing Richard's arm before he could react and snapped it. My mate bit back a cry of pain before he slammed his leg into his father's side and used his broken arm to help him twist as he brought his other leg up and flipped in the air, kicking his father in the head before they both fell over as Richard groaned. As soon as they were on the ground, he kicked his father in the nose, slamming his foot down into him. I watched them before looking around the room for his mother then. Where is she? I could smell her nearby, probably moving Richard's brother. I frowned and looked back at Richard and Dracula. I saw Richard pull his arm away before he set it back in place. He flexed his fingers then looked towards his father before he exposed his fangs and bit into him harshly. His father groaned then shoved him off before he was over him in seconds. "I'll kill you for this, you traitor," he snarled at him and dug his hand into Richard's chest. Richard snarled and slammed his hand into his father's chest then smirked.

"You kill me, and I'll kill you," he purred out and laughed. "I'm not afraid, but what about you?" His father's eyes widened. I walked up to them quickly and wrapped my hand around Dracula's throat. He hissed and exposed his fangs, struggling to get away from my hands, but Richard only smirked and tightened his grip. "What will it be?"

"Richardo, let my stone go," Dracula snarled. "You don't know what you're doing."

"I do know what I am doing," Richard said calmly, watching his father panicking. "You don't though."

"It's over," I hissed to Dracula. "You should have been more caring of your boy... You'll never meet your grandchildren now." Richard pulled out the stone and smirked before his eyes widened as it became sand in his hands and his father's body dissolved into fine sand, covering him in it. He sat up quickly and looked at the sand with a frown.

"What?" He murmured then looked around. "Sand?" I frowned. What? Why is it sand? He didn't crush it... did he? I heard a faint chuckle and his father got up from a chair by a window. I frowned and looked his way. But how? Richard looked towards him then stood up. "That was a dirty trick," he muttered and started for him. "I'll finish you this time."

"No, no you won't," he told him then appeared in front of him, drawing a sword and cutting Richard's arm off. "I'll take you though." Richard let out a scream of pain and gripped his bleeding shoulder before he backed up quickly. Dracula smirked and stabbed him, twisting the blade. I growled and went after Dracula quickly- kicking him in the side and sending him across the room. He hit the wall then looked at me before he appeared in front of me. I'll have to end his mate first. Richard will crumble after I take out his partner. He smirked and went to strike me down with the sword, exposing his fangs. I frowned and dodged the blade quickly and started for the side of the room to put a little distance between us and get his back towards Richard. Richard, you have an opening coming up. Richard eyed his father over, seeming to notice what I was doing and waited as his father came for me. He smirked and approached from behind him before he jumped onto his back and reached into him, ripping out his spine. His father shrieked then fell to the floor quickly, spitting out blood.

"I've got you now~" Richard sung out then ripped the stone out. He looked at it and waited before he smirked when his father decayed like normal. He stood up then licked the stone, making it pulse rapidly in his hand. I walked up to Richard and eyed the stone over curiously. So, this is his father's stone? My mate laughed then before he put it into his mouth and swallowed it whole. I tensed up as I watched Richard. This is it... Moment of truth.

It took a minute before Richard's eyes widened, and he groaned, falling to his knees. His forehead broke out into a sweat as he fell over and started to pant, holding his stomach. He cried out and exposed his fangs, his hand traveling up to his chest before he kicked his feet and clawed at his shirt.

"Richard, don't let it take you. You have to be here for me," I told him. He arched his back before he turned over and got on his hands and knees, his head against the ground as he clenched his jaw.

"Go to sleep. Go to sleep," he whispered and balled his hands up. "Your life is over. Go to sleep."

"You ate your father's stone, didn't you?" I heard his mother at the door, stepping in with a sword in her grasp. "I'll cut him out of you," she hissed, glaring Richard down.

"Not without going through me," I told her and stepped in front of Richard to protect him. She tensed as she saw me then narrowed her eyes.

"What HAVE you become, Paris?" She asked me in disgust. "Your father would be horrified. Here, let me cut those off for you." She was behind me in seconds, grabbing one of my wings as she was about to bring the blade down into it to hack it off. I looked over my shoulder before I spread open my wings and threw her off of them quickly and across the room from their strength. She yelped as she hit the wall then slid down it with a groan.

"MOM!" I heard Vlad yell, rushing into the room. Richard sat up suddenly and started to laugh.

"Vlad," I sighed out and eyed him over. "Stay there and don't intervene while we save you from her presence." He looked at me then narrowed his eyes.

"That's my mom! How could you?! Don't touch her!" He tackled me to the ground then and punched me. "YOU RUINED MY LIFE! YOU RUINED IT! YOU DEVIL!" He spat at me then got up and kicked me. Richard leapt to his feet then snatched Vlad's throat, yanking him from me. I widened my eyes and looked the two of them over.

"Richard go easy on him. We left him here when we should have taken him. It's our fault. He should have mercy." Richard looked down at me before he looked at Vlad and shoved him back, releasing him.

"Vlad, you're my younger brother. They've fed you lies all your life, and I'm going to offer you something better than they ever could for you. I'm going to take you with me," he told him. Vlad frowned and rubbed his throat.

"I don't want to go with you.... Look at you! You've become... a monster! You're a monster, Richardo! Mom and dad love me!" He slapped Richard then. "I'll never forgive you! NEVER!" Richard glared him down then.

"If you know what's good for you, you'll sit down," he hissed. "I'm not going to kill you, but I won't hesitate to knock you out, brother."

"Vlad," I whispered. I walked up to him and yanked him into a hug. "It's okay. We've got you now." He cried out and struggled to get away from me.

"LET ME GO! MOM!" He begged, looking towards her for help. "MOM! PLEASE!" His mother stirred before she slowly got to her feet and she glared me down.

"Get your hands off my son," she snarled, exposing her fangs. I exposed my fangs before I bit down into my wrist and then force-fed Vlad. He started to cry and pushed at my wrist, trying to spit it out. He whimpered and fell against me, too weak to fight me. His mother started for me quickly. I smirked as I felt Vlad's struggles die as he took a liking to my blood.

"Richard, your mother is coming our way," I hissed out. He looked towards her then tilted his chin up.

"Mother, stop," he ordered her. She groaned and held her chest, biting back a cry of pain. "As the new head of the Dracula family, I order you to offer me your stone," he hissed and held out his hand for it. She widened her eyes.

"N-no! NO!" She said quickly as her hand was already traveling up to her chest. I could tell Richard was doing exactly what his father had done to us, hacking the stone to cause pain and submission and make the stone obedient to a new master. Vlad gave a soft moan and held onto my wrist, melting against me as he closed his eyes and sucked at my blood. I watched Richard with a small smirk. He really is a Dracula... and that's what it means to be a king of all vampires. I looked down at Vlad and rubbed his head. Maybe we can eventually get him to forgive us for leaving him behind. He opened his eyes and glanced up at me before I felt his fangs pierce my flesh. His mother ripped her stone out and shrieked as pain showed on her face. She dropped it into Richard's hand before her body decayed. He turned to me and smirked as he rubbed her stone between his fingers.

"It's over.... All that's left is your parents," he told me. I nodded and looked towards Vlad.

"It's okay now Vlad... We'll take care of you." I hugged him and yanked my arm away from his mouth. "We did this for the greater good. Generations will be able to choose for themselves." He looked at me then hissed, trying to get away from me.

"Let me go! You're evil!" He told me and started to cry as he looked towards Richard and saw the stone in his hands. "MOM!" Richard swallowed it then, ignoring him.

"We're not evil." I leaned in and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. He looked up at me with wide eyes before he groaned and fell against me, grabbing his throat.

"W-what did you do to me? P-Paris...." He whispered as his knees started to give out.

"Oh... right... I forgot that my blood will turn you into a demon. I'm sorry Vlad. It'll go away though if you don't drink too much blood," I told him sweetly. Richard looked towards me and frowned.

"Paris, did you turn my brother into a demon?" He asked me, watching as Vlad fell to the ground.

"Sorry?" I asked.

"You did that on purpose," he grumbled and walked over, kneeling by Vlad to turn him onto his back and look him over as Vlad panted. I could see his eyes slowly turning red, going outside in towards his pupil before they turned catlike, his pupils becoming slits. Aweeeee... He's going to be our kitty. I leaned over and brushed my fingers through his hair. It was silkier to the touch, looking healthier by the second and shinier. Richard frowned and moved his head into his lap, watching over his brother as his brother seemed to be out of it, staring up at the ceiling. I eyed him over before I remembered my little sister was waiting for me.

"I have to save her," I whispered. Richard looked up at me then purred.

"We'll save her," he promised me. "We'll go... as soon as my brother is fine," he whispered. "We won't wait to go take out your father."

"Okay." I eyed his brother over before giving a soft smile. "He's going to be just fine. Let's take him to Laurence." He nodded.

"Laurence will take care of him until we get back," he whispered then grabbed my hand before we appeared in Laurence's bedroom. He slipped Vlad into the bed then covered him up, looking him over. "He's taking this quietly...."

"Let's go," I whispered and gave Vlad a kiss on the top of his head. Richard nodded then looked towards me.

"Tell me about your room in France," he whispered and grabbed my hand. "I got to the other places by imagining them."

"Ummm..." I blushed. "My room?" I asked as I thought it over to see how I would explain it to him but when I was about to open my mouth... the room had changed to it. Richard looked around in shock then looked at me.

"Paris... you did it this time, didn't you?" He asked then laughed, kissing me. "You're like meeee~!"

"Wow!~ I did this?" I asked and glanced around my room. But... it was off. There was pink and purple everywhere. Dolls... A tiny tea set with a table and chairs. There were stuffed animals in the chairs. A huge bed replaced mine with a floral bedsheet across it and sheer curtains across it. The room was a girl's room. Probably for my little sister. There was even a handcrafted doll house placed at the foot of her bed.

"Excuse me," I heard a sweet girl's voice say from behind us. I turned around to find a little girl standing there in a pink dress, and her hair was braided. She held a doll in her hands and was watching us. "Are you here for the tea party?" She asked innocently. This girl looked like a little version of me but as a girl. Her hair was pure white, and her eyes were a bright ocean blue. She eyed us over before pointing to me. "You look like daddy." Richard widened his eyes as he saw her before he purred and scooped her up.

"Hi there~ Aren't you cute?" He asked her and smiled. "What's your name? I bet it's beautiful~!" He laughed and hugged her in his arms, looking to be in love with my little sister already.

"Rosetta," she whispered softly. "What are your names?" She asked. I bit my bottom lip and held back a smile. Whoa~ I'll have to nickname her Rose. She's pretty like one.

"My name is Paris and this is Richard," I told her. She looked towards me quickly.

"Paris," she whispered. Richard watched her curiously then purred.

"Do you know him?" He asked her softly and kissed her cheek.

"No, I just think his name is beautiful," she told him. She eyed me over and blushed. I purred and got close to them then gave her cheek a kiss. Richard smirked at me then pulled her away from me.

"I think his name is beautiful too~ but yours is pretty," Richard told her and smiled. "But you're more beautiful than your name," he told her and tapped her nose then laughed, spinning with her. "You're so cute~!" She giggled and hugged him tightly before struggling to get down.

"Tea party," she told him and pointed to the table.

"Tea party? Okay," he said and took her to the table with a huge smile on his face. He sat her down in a seat then sat in one himself, purring happily. I eyed them over and purred in amusement.

"Richard, we still have to take care of my parents," I whispered. Rosetta giggled and poured herself an invisible cup of tea and then poured Richard one. Richard ignored me and purred at her as he picked up his tea.

"Thank you, Rosetta,~" He told her sweetly then took a fake sip. "Wow~ That's amazing. You're going to make someone really happy someday."

"I just made you happy though," Rosetta told him and frowned. I shook my head and gave a huge smile before I walked over and grabbed Richard's shoulder.

"Rose, would you excuse us for a minute? We have to wash up," I whispered. She nodded and giggled.

"Okay!" She waved us off. "Go wash up." Richard looked towards my hand then gave it a kiss before he looked at her and ruffled her hair, getting to his feet. He looked at me then grabbed my hand, taking me to the door and got us out of there and shut the door behind him softly. I eyed the door over before laughing softly. Wow, she's so cute! I'll have to fight all the boys off of her when she's older. Richard looked towards me then kissed me passionately.

"We're going to have to raise her," he whispered as his lips pulled back from mine slowly. "We're going to have to fill the role of her parents since we're about to kill them...." I nodded.

"I'll make sure she gets all the love and attention she needs," I whispered. I guess I'll be a father figure to her in the end. He nodded then purred before he pulled me close by my hips and kissed me again. I leaned into the kiss and deepened it before I yanked back and started for my father's throne room to get this over with. If we took down Dracula... then this will be easy. I heard him following behind me with a purr. When this is all over... we'll have so much to be happy and celebrate about....

"I love you," Richard whispered to me.

"I love you too," I whispered back to him. I glanced over my shoulder at him and gave him a smile. He smirked at me then and got closer to me before he kissed my neck and purred in my ear as we walked.

"We should celebrate after we end them," he husked out into my ear and then nipped at my ear. I laughed and shook my head no.

"We need to be more focused on other things besides that," I told him and yanked my head away from his mouth. He watched me then nodded.

"Alright... we should probably take Rosetta to Laurence afterwards," he said thoughtfully. "We'll have to explain things to her too...."

"How do you break news to a little kid that she's got no parents anymore because her older brother killed them?" I asked him and frowned. I guess I'll just tell her she's being adopted by me or something... Her parents gave her to me for a few years to raise. Then when she's older break it to her slowly? He frowned then.

"I don't know... but you need to think of something soon because she'll ask where her parents are," he told me then sighed. "You definitely don't want to scare her. She's probably only known her parents all her life." I nodded quickly. I'll just let her know that I'm her brother and that everything is now okay. She's with me. I paused as I came across the doors to the throne room. The room I barely could visit. Richard rubbed my shoulder then before he gave me an encouraging smile. "We can do this," he told me then kissed my cheek. "We'll win. Your father is just another man- just another king. He'll fall like the others did." I nodded in agreement.

"Oui," (Translate: Yes) I whispered. I pushed the doors open and let them slam against the walls before I stepped into the room and glanced around for him... them. My mother and my father. I found his body hovering over a map on a desk and marking something off on it before his eyes looked up at me and he smirked. He picked up his sword quickly that was on the desk.

"Alors tu as décidé de venir à moi." (Translate: So, you decided to come to me). He let out a small laugh."J'aurais dû savoir." (Translate: I should have known). He tilted his sword quickly before aiming it at me. "C'est le temps de la punition." (Translate: It's punishment time). He smirked and his eyes looked behind me at Richard. "You're here too?" He hissed before coming after me with speed I haven't mastered yet. He hit me in the stomach with his free hand and I stumbled into Richard's arms as he brought his sword up and got us both together. Richard groaned and coughed up blood before he hissed then glared at my father. He moved his hands over my ears and clamped them over them before I could faintly hear a loud high pitch going off, shattering the windows. My father looked annoyed and drove the sword deeper into me to get Richard. I caught the smell of my father's blood as it oozed out of his ears. He twisted the sword then before yanking it out and grabbed my shirt, bringing me forward and threw me over his body and went for Richard quickly and shoved the sword into his mouth. I groaned as I fell into the floor then turned over onto my back and got to my feet quickly. I felt something burning into my back then- causing me to collapse to the ground and shriek. I glanced over my shoulder to find my mother tossing one of my (cut off) wings to the side and coming for my other one. Richard snarled and appeared by my mother, snatching her away from me then threw her at my father before he exposed his fangs. He stepped in front of me protectively and glared them down with pure hatred.

"I'm going to make your death bloody," he hissed as the noise stopped. He went invisible then, and I suddenly saw my mother fall to the ground before she was stomped on, the force breaking her back. Richard growled at her. "You first. You touched my mate." He yanked her up by the hair and ripped out a chunk then slammed her head down into the ground. His hand quickly found it's way to her neck and he dug his nails in, ripping out her voice box. I saw my father's eyes darken before he rammed his sword straight into Richard even though he was invisible and tackled his body quickly.

"Don't ever touch my lady like that again!" My father yelled at him. "You made my son into a sinner, touched my woman the wrong way, and pissed me off. I'll kill you," he hissed out and ran his hand across Richard's body, searching until it handed on- probably Richard's chest. My mother coughed and spit up blood before eyeing them over and her eyes flickered back to me in anger. I got up quickly before she had an advantage over me. I eyed my father over and went after him quickly. I can't let him hurt Richard. I tackled him off Richard and rolled us around until I was able to pin him under me. "Paris," he hissed out in anger. "Get off your father right now. You- ungrateful brat. I've given you everything and you still gave in to sinning and running against me and your king." He backhanded me quickly and tried to rock us over, but I kept my weight on him.

"No," I hissed at him. "You sinned against me. You're a liar." I pressed my hand into his chest quickly while I had him down. He grabbed at my wrist and hissed. I felt my mom's cold hands wrap around my throat and squeeze it tightly. She was yanked off me quickly, and Richard let his invisibility drop as he snarled and bit into her throat, tearing into it in anger. She yelled out in pain and I felt my father struggle under me to get to her. I reached into his chest and wrapped my hand around his stone tightly.

"Why couldn't you have been a better father?" I asked him and gave the stone a small squeeze, feeling it crack in my grip. He tensed up and looked up into my eyes. I could find slight fear in his eyes now. "You replaced me with Rosetta?" I asked and gave him a disgusted look. He chuckled lightly.

"You were a replacement yourself.... Don't look so pissed at finding out we replaced you." He gave a small smile. "You weren't even born first. You weren't ever going to properly get my throne." I heard my mother's body thud to the ground as Richard held her stone in his hand.

"What do you mean he wasn't born first?" Richard hissed. "He's the heir to your throne."

"You had a twin," my father told me and eyed me over then wrinkled up his nose as his eyes landed on my horns. "Those aren't supposed to be there."

"Had a twin?" I asked softly. "Does that mean he's dead?" Richard walked over then and snarled.

"Spit it," he hissed. "Tell us everything." He glared my father down then. I could hear his thoughts forcing his stone into submission, trying to get it out of him quicker.

"You really think that's going to work on me?!" My dad asked. "You make me sick."

"Easy. These are your last words," I hissed to him and tsked.

"When you were born... no that's not how this story should go. Let's see…you were born with a twin. You were born second. But your brother... was born perfect and first." He gave a small smirk. "He died and so we had to make you our first born and call you Paris... but your real name is supposed to be Louis." Richard frowned then, watching my father then glared him down.

"Paris... if you want to know more... I'd get it from Laurence- not this venomous snake," he muttered. "You should end him before he can find a way out." I eyed my father over and frowned before I yanked out his stone quickly and watched him decay under me. I looked his stone over in my hand before I looked towards Richard and gave a small smile. He smiled then knelt, giving me my mother's stone. "Here... this belongs to you, Paris." I eyed my father and mother's stones over before I took in a deep breath and crushed them quickly in my hand. He widened his eyes slightly before he laughed. "I thought you were going to eat them... but I guess that is a big risk," he purred out then kissed my lips. "It's over. We win!" I nodded and let out a shaky breath before I dropped the dust in my hand and wrapped my arms around him before I broke out into a small whimper and looked behind me at my missing wing. It hurts so freaking bad! It's not even growing back. He looked towards my wing then frowned before he eyed me over. "Paris... do you trust me?" He asked me and rubbed my cheek. I nodded and bit my bottom lip. He nodded then kissed me as he leaned his hand into my chest, pushing it inside me. "I'll bring you back. It might bring your wing back," he whispered to me and used his other arm to bring me close to him, hugging me. I yelped and tensed up.

"No!" I told him and started to panic. He gripped my stone then and kissed my neck quickly before he yanked it out, my world going dark.
