Matthew awoke in darkness once more. He could feel a strange tugging sensation move him ever so slightly. He heard grunting and attempted to open his eyes.
What greeted him was his older sister pulling him by his shirt along the filthy ground.
Her hair was a complete mess with dried tears going down her face. [Sarah isn't having a very good day either.] Thought Matthew as he blacked out once more.
[Come on Sarah, you have got to get him out of here!]
As she pulled and pulled his body, he was getting closer to the portal.
She pushed Bowser and Matthew into it, then got in and chose to exit the "Forest".
She was fuming and was nearly breaking down at the stupidity of what just happened.
She noticed that not much time had passed and went to get one of the guards.
The guard heard footsteps from behind and turned to see a [Demon]...or a disheveled girl.
Sarah had dried blood covering her arms and had dried mud covering her body. Parts of her clothes were dissolved from the contact with Matthew's body.
"SIR! Please help!" Said Sarah as she was limping to the stunned guard.

"Give me one minute!" Said the guard to the woman. He then contacted a guild support squad through the crystal.
Then he headed over to the woman to look at her wounds. But she seemed perfectly fine.
"Come, this way, it is my brother…I need help lifting him." Said Sarah as she pulled the guard to the entrance of the dungeon.
There lying, he saw the same young man but this time he was unmoving and covered in blood and slime…
"BY THE HOLY LIGHT! What could you have experienced in there???" Shouted the guard as he was trying to get his arm under Matthew's arm. He then got his other arm under Matthew's knees and was able to carry him outside of the dungeon.
The other guard standing watch turned to what should be the mangled corpse of a man…given how much blood was on him and how his clothes were in tatters.
"Oi! Roy! Contact the guild and ask if they are on their way!" Said the guard carrying Matthew.
As Roy was heading to the crystal for an update, there was a loud thundering of footsteps as a woman was sprinting to the dungeon.

[Oh no, please…not again…I can't be too late again!] Thought Clara, the guild secretary.
She stopped and looked at minorly injured Sarah before turning her head to the "older" brother…
He was lying unconscious…in another man's arms and was being held like a princess.
[Oh no…there is so much blood.] Thought Clara as she walked over to use a health identification skill from her healing tree.
Matthew- 68/130 HP.
Clara stood there…blinking at the number.
[WHAT? This man should be perfectly fine…why is there so much blood?????]
She turned to look at Sarah that was keeping her eyes focused on Matthew. Then she stepped over to talk to her.
"Miss Sarah? It is me, Clara, you just left me about 20 minutes ago at the guild." Said Clara, remembering that some people have extreme confusion after their first traumatic episode.
"Huh? Oh, hey Clara, are you the one the guards called for?"
"Yes, I have just checked your brother's health and he is in the clear. Do you know what happened to him?"
"Uh, yeah…
We were in the dungeon and Matty had just killed a slime, but then there were more, a lot more…"
"Wait!" Interrupted the guard Roy, "Just how many slimes were grouped up???"
"Uh, there were 9 little slimes." Said Sarah, shuttering from the cold….
The other guard Albert went to contact the guard tower and report the incident but stopped when he heard the word "little".
Albert turned to ask, "What do you mean by "little"?"
"There was a big gray slime in there too." Said Sarah, starting to realize that she was in shock.
The three other conscious members at the gate stood and looked at each other.
"Sarah…how did you survive…how did both of you survive." Asked Clara.
As Sarah was sitting down to hold Bowser, she muttered "I don't know, I have no idea. Matty just started cutting and stabbing…even after getting surprised by the big one…"
"WAIT! HE WAS AMBUSHED BY IT?" Shouted the younger guard Roy.
"That's…" said Albert, stunned.
"Well, that explains all of the blood. He must have awakened and received a skill before going to the 5th floor."
"Wait, miss Clara? They couldn't have gone to the 5th floor; they JUST entered and came back out within 30 seconds. Even with the dungeon's flow of time, they wouldn't have been able to get far…" Explained Albert.
"Sarah, is that true? You didn't go down to the lower floors through the portals?" Asked Clara, squatting next to her and placing her hand on Sarah's.
"No…we were at the entrance. We had gotten our first kill ever and the-", "First kill ever?" Roy muttered to himself. "-n we encountered the slime pack…" Said Sarah.
The [Guard Watchman] Albert then reidentified them and noticed that their levels were still one. (He can't see HP and MP like a healer can, only their names, general description, and maybe any titles.)
"BY THE HOLY LIGHT! THESE KIDS FOUGHT OFF A SLIME HORDE AT LEVEL ONE!!" Shouted Albert, startling everyone except Sarah.
"That's not-" Muttered Roy.
"No. that couldn't be poss-" Muttered Clara.
"I am telling you; I used my ability given to me by the [Guard Watchman] class. It would take someone with a higher rogue class to even attempt to fool it." Albert took a sharp inhalation. "These kids are going to be legends in the military…"
Clara listened to that and decided that she would not have it.
"Well, they can be legends when they are all rested and leveled, I am going to take them back to the guild." She said as she picked up Matthew effortlessly.
"Come on Sarah, lets go back to the guild, I have some space in my room for you guys."
As the four-person group walked back to the guild, Sarah began to have a hard think about what she was doing in this world.
