Lukz opens his eyes, blinking a few times he turns his head to look around. A gleaming white abyss completely encloses him, nothing is close or far, no objects or surroundings, just a pure blank white screen? He sits up, then turns his palms towards himself,
"nothing, the dots have gone?" he says, confused while staring at his hands. Standing to his feet, Lukz's body is fully clothed in his usual attire of, red leather trousers, tie die top, big fur jacket, army style boots, with his mask covering his scared face.
He quickly adverts his gaze to look around, "nothing… really? Even my own brain is taking the piss out of me by saying I have nothing in here! Great!"
He stands to his feet while stretching from side to side, twisting and clicking his back. "Right, sooo, I'm in my own head, or dream state, which sort of means…. this is my blank canvas? I guess from here I should look for a… a horse?" he stutters. Immediately, *poof!* A great grey stallion stands before him, Lukz stumbles back, startled.
"WHAT THE… Where did you come from?" He asks in a squeaky tone. The horse lifts it's head to briefly stare at him, until turning around and trotting away, unamused.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going!" Lukz shouts, "Get back here!" He adds. The horse completely stops, then turns around and walks back towards him.
"Ahh, cool." Lukz says, smiling. "This is crazy! I think you need some friends?" he utters, while petting the horse's nose. *Poof!* A large wooden cladded stable appears in front of him, full of beautiful stallions and mares. Lukz again gets startled, causing his eyes to flash open, "WOW! This is sweet!" He says to himself, turning towards his great stallion, "Can I get on your back?" He asks politely. The horse raises its head to look directly towards him, then bows down, folding onto its knees. Lukz smirks while hopping onto the horses back, it immediately stands up sending him flying backwards, so launches his hands forwards latching onto a pair of leather reins, "Woooo!" he says amazed, looking down to see a perfectly engraved saddle, with studded rains attached to it and the horse. He shakes his head, then kicks his heals into the horse's side, making it trot forwards.
Pulling another huge grin, he speaks, "HA! This is awesome! I wonder if this is how it was in the…." Lukz stops speaking. *Poof*, a rustic western village flashes before him, hustling and bustling with people! Carts ride through narrow cobble stone streets, bumbling up and down its crudely laid paths, each side is littered with market stalls selling fresh fish, barley, linen, fruit and veg, bread.
"This is incredible! I feel like I'm in a…" He stops again, to immediately see a pair of cowboys come storming out of a large stone tavern, grappling and pummelling one another into the stone path! Lukz gently tugs his reins, stopping the horse.
"Why you lying, cheating scum!" One of the leather coated cowboys shouts out, as he shoves a young blonde-haired boy to the ground. "you try to steal from me, boy?" He adds in his western accent. "You know what I do to folks who try to take what is mine?" The man says as he reaches down the side of his leg.
Lukz panics, "NO!" He screams! *BANG!* The leather man freezes, then drops to his knees. Lukz stairs down to his hand and notices a revolver pistol pointed directly towards the cowboy, with smoke steaming from its barrel. All the town folk turn towards him, each one standing completely still with their eyes fixed upon him! Even the young boy, laying there on the cold damp path, wearing nothing but some torn old clothes, stairs daggers at him!
"I, I, I'm sorry! I don't know what happened! Please.." Lukz panic's, firmly kicking his heals into the horse! "Naaaaayy!" It yelps out, rearing onto its back legs! Lukz clinches his reins, pulling himself forward, "Woooooohooooo!" he calls out, as the horse lands back down and begins to gallop away, straight down a narrow side street. All the towns men and women don't move a muscle, they just stair with their piercing eyes, watching him ride away.
*Beep, beep, beep, beep*. Lukz's monitor starts flashing with green and red line's, darting up and down it's LCD screen, Darcie and Kevin both stare intently towards it.
Kevin grabs Lukz's arm, as he lays motionless on the hospital bed. "What's going on, DC!" He shouts out, turning towards her! Darcie scowlers her eyes, quickly but calmly scanning over the screen. She places her hand on Lukz's arm then gazes towards Kevin, "He's in. But I think he's a little shocked?" She says, composed.
Kevin lets out a deep breath as the beeping begins to slow down. "Phew. I just hope the shock wasn't too severe. His brain activity and heart went crazy!" he adds.
Darcie nods, "Yeah, it did. Maybe because he's in a lucid dream, all his natural reactions are acting as if he was awake?" She says, scratching her head.
"Really? Could that be possible?" Kevin asks sharply.
Darcie looks back towards the screen, "I guess so? His brain activity almost looks the same as when he was awake. Just his body isn't moving. So, yes?" She replies, unsure.
Kevin looks down towards him, "Come on bro, look deep within your mind!" He says proudly.
"Woooo, Wooooo. Calm down boy." Lukz shouts out as he tugs the horses head backwards, slowing it down as they enter a more grassy and wild terrain. Lukz strokes his hand through the horse's wispy silver main, calming it down, "Easy there, let me just hop off and I will set you free." He whispers in its ear.
The stallion instantly stops walking, Lukz unhooks his feet from a couple of stirrups then slides off its side, he walks towards the horses face and opens his palm to reveal a perfectly ripe apple, it immediately chomps down, cleaning it straight off his hand. "There you go, boy. Now, go back to where you belong." He says, patting the horse's neck.
"Neeeey!" it cries out, then begins to trot away. Lukz watches the graceful beast weave through a narrow dirt path, then off over a large bush line and into a surrounding forest. "Wow. I really have to try horse riding when I wake up? That was sick!" He says to himself. "Anyway, what was the second thing Kevin told me to look for? Ermmmmm." Lukz grabs his chin and fiddles with the small amount of hair on it. "Ahh ha! A broken door! That sounds like something he said!" Lukz chants, as he looks around to see the small village now vaguely visible in the distance. *sigh*, He lets out a deep breath while glancing around, "Hmmm, nothing but forest around here? I can't see a thing!" he says, trying to advert his gaze around the endless greenery.
Lukz looks towards where his stallion ran off, noticing the path actually continuing further into the forest. "Well great, I'm not going back to the town, so I guess I will just have to do what they do in every horror movie? Follow a bleak, desolated path into the middle of nowhere and probably get attacked by some sort of…"
"RWAAARRRRKKKKK!" Calls out from the sky!
"Ow shit! I had to think of a bloody…"
*BOOOF!* A cloud of debris spirals into the air.
Lukz shields his face from a barrage of soil, "Great, another deamon… I wish I had my.." He looks down to his hands to see his bat appear, clean as the day it was new, no marks, scuffs or dents, just a pristine wood white finish. "Ha, you're in for it now you little sh*t! AHHHHHH!" He screams out as he charges towards a smokey smear appearing above him.
*BOOF, BOOF!*, Two gargantuan talons crash down in front of him, tree's flail and bend as a tidal wave of wind sores through the air, Lukz looks side to side as he notices two humongous dragons scaled feet wedged into the ground beside him! Both with murky white claws, curving at their centre to eclipse him.
"Hmm. Maybe you're not so little?" Lukz murmurs to himself, as he slowly raises his head up to see a crimson red, monumental armoured beast, shadowing him with its immense stature.
"RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!" The dragon roars with a piercing screech!
Lukz covers his ears, shielding them from the wailing beasts' calls. "Ha! You think that's supposed to scare me?" He shouts out. The beast aims its elongated snout towards him, revealing a cascade of horns dotted up its layered scaled face, all growing in size until arcing at the top of its bus sized head! Staring a pair of illuminous red eyes towards him, it flairs it's scales, causing them to glow and shiver with a rich orange tone. Lukz smirks towards the beast, then falls on the floor, bursting out with laughter, "Ahahahah! You're in my head, dumb ass! If I wanted to turn you into a sexy Latina nurse, with an amazing ass and tits... I.. I." Lukz opens his eyes to still see a glowing dragon demon engulfing him within its shadow. He stays completely still, then closes his eyes, "latina, latina, latina, LATINA!" he chants to himself, then partly re-opens them to look.
"RWAAAAAAAAARRRR!" The dragon bellows out as it throws its head towards him, gaping open it's gigantic jaws, revealing layer after layer of blade like teeth rippling within its soft flesh mouth.
"Ow hell no!" Lukz screams out, as he power rolls to his side, sweeping his bat around his back while twisting it's handle. Bark and dirt splinter into the air as the dragon rips its gigantic face through the ground, blowing shards of the forest everywhere! Lukz rolls back, landing to his feet. He slowly pulls his bat from around his back, to reveal a gorgeous scimitar shaped blade, arced in opposite directions as it shimmers with an engraved, hugely intricate mandala patter inscribed through a light blue surface! All its marking are shaved in between a silvery translucent ice substance. Lukz looks at his distorted reflection, as it gleams in the blades frozen surface, "Cool, Ice blade? This should work?" He plants his feet, then snaps his gaze back towards the destructives beats omnipotent size.
"You're really going to regret not turning into a sexy LATINA!" He bellows out!
"RWAAAAAAAAR!!" The dragon roars, ripping itself from the ground, turning its lizard shaped body back towards him! It snorts a pair of smoke rings from its nostrils while rearing its head backwards. Its tail starts to glint with some flashing red lights, until they hurtle down the beast's spine, compiling an engulfing red shade within its neck. Bubbling up, its fills with more and more blinding red rays. Lukz stands poised with his ice blade, until crying out, "BRING IT ON!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" he rages straight towards the beast, glinting weakly from his scars with his own black haze!
*BEEP, BEEEP, BEEEP, BEEEP*, Lukz's machine starts going haywire, lines and numbers begin fluctuating rapidly! Each one rising and falling twice as quick as before!
"OW SHIT!" Kevin shouts out! ��Is he having a heart attack!" He adds. Darcie quickly looks down towards him, grabbing his arm,
"OUCH!" She cries, flailing her hand away. "What the hell!" she adds, looking down to see his skin peeling away as a pulsing red light emanates from within. Her hand singes from a burning heat, beginning to slightly throb. "He's scolded my hand!" She says vigorously, staring towards Kevin.
"What?" He replies, walking around the table to hover his hands over Lukz's arm.
"He's boiling! We need to cool him down, but you need to soak your hand in water, first!" Kevin demands. Darcie clinches her hand in pain as she rushes over to the basin.
"What does the machine say his overall body temperature is?!" she calls out.
Kevin scans over the screen, "Errrm! I'm not sure! Each body part is highlighted in different colours, mostly yellow, but his forearm and upper arm on his left side is a deep red! Yet his hand is blue!" Kevin shouts back!
"He's getting too hot! The cells in his arm are going to die if his internal temperature goes above 40 degree's! You need to run down to the kitchen, grab anything frozen, then bring it back here!", Darcie howls back. Kevin nods his head, then sprints out the room! She shakes off her hand, then wraps it in a small linen towel. Rushing back over, she stares towards the monitor's screen, "What the hell is going on, Lukz!" She says, desperately!
A humongous, engulfing ball of liquid flames hurtle towards Lukz! "AHHHHH!!" He rages, storming towards it! Lukz's eyes mirror the rippling flared beam of light as it cascades towards him, engulfing him in its size. He batters his ice blade towards the ball of death, splicing it into two pieces, causing them to completely smother either side of him. However, one half gingerly touches his left arm, peeling his skin back down to the muscle! Lukz skids to a stop, hunkering down to the ground he cringes his face in agony, watching his skin bubble from the formidable heat!
"AHHH! That Kills! I need a shield." He balls out in pain, as he immediately looks up to gaze in the back of a seven-foot-high ice shield, shaped in the style of a giant diamond, it also is engraved with an array of twirling and swirling lines!
"HA! Sweet!!", he Chants, until….
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!* The pulsing split ball of flames banish a whole acre of trees as they napalm the forest behind him.
Lukz clinches his shield with his burnt arm, while raising to his feet, "You may not be a sexy Latina nurse, but you defiantly know how to make a man sweat!" He screams out, over the crackling blaze which spread behind. The flames rip through tree after tree, buckling them from their roots. Lukz slowly turns the wedge-shaped shield back towards the dragon, placing his matching ice blade to its side. The dragon plants it's feet back into the earth as it barrels more and more flaming beams towards him, continuously charging up its illumines glinting spines.
Lukz continues striding forwards, huddled behind his opaque shield while battering each ball of destruction away, "Have.. a taste… OF YOU OWN... BLOODY MEDICINE!!" HE THUNDERS!
Another colossal ball of destruction roars towards him, Lukz immediately explodes into a glowing black light, pulsing throughout his body he accelerates forwards, brutalizing the flaming sun back towards the dragon! It soars through the air, tumbling its lava light structure straight towards the dragon's gigantic body! Suddenly, snapping its jaws closed, the beast whips open a pair of paper thin, vein covered, tattered and torn wings, expanding them larger than a jumbo jets! Coated around its edges are the same spines down it's back, continuing to grow until curling at its tip. The beast swoops itself into the air, dodging its own ball of demolition! The fire beam blasts straight underneath its body, exploding around it, engulfing another ton of trees as it's flame spreads throughout the wilderness! Crumbling one by one, Lukz watches them topple like dominoes as they batter into one another, watching the beast flap away.
*WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHOOSH*, It climbs high into the sky, reaching up above the clouds, ascending into a darkened blood moon sky.
Lukz stands underneath his shield, ready for an attack from above as the dragon soar out of sight.
Rolling it to his side, he calls out, "Ha! Come on! I was just getting warmed up!!". Quickly glancing around at a flame-soaked forest, his skin dies down, sitting back to its pale white colour. A small smog quickly rolls in, covering the now flaming field under a rich red darkness. The surroundings instantly turn to a night lit arena, gently heightened by the flames around him. He looks back up to the sky, scanning it for any movement or glowing light, "Ha, was that it? A poor wittle dragon, couldn't take on the mighty LUKZ DEATH!" He proudly chants, beating his chest! "I wish Kevin and Darcie were here to see that?!" He also mumbles to himself. *Craack, snappp*, Lukz turns around, watching the fire burn strong as it slides its way through the endless forest. "Hmm, I think I better put that out.." *Poof!* A barrage of deep thick clouds gathers overhead, quickly intertwining with one another. A huge, *CRETSHHH !*, breaks out within the clouds as tons of thick heavy rain starts to halter down from above. Lukz looks up, instantly getting drenched, "Ha, look at that. Now you work, you stupid mind!!" He looks down to his left arm and notices it spitting and steaming as each rain drop lands upon it. "NOW WHAT!!" He screams, "It's dark.. I rode a horse and there is no broken door in sight!! What do I do?" He bellows out, letting the rain drench his steaming skin. Pausing for a second, a thick black smoke lifts from the ground, settling as the rain dampens down the mighty flames. He quickly looks at his shield, kissing it surface. Swiftly moving it around, he simultaneously flows his blade with it, dancing within the rain's thick droplets until stopping, he pauses with his shield placed just under his eye line, with his blade perched on top. "Ha, this thing's alright, I might have to look at getting one of these when I wake up." He says proudly to himself.
"RWAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!!" Calls out, followed by a couple of familiar voices in the distance. "LUKUS!!! PLEASE HELP US!" a sweet women's voice shouts, followed by a deep manly tone!
"LUKZ! COME AND SAVE US YOU STUPID IDIOT!!!"
Lukz snaps his head directly towards the town he just fled from.
"Darcie, Kevin", he says, astonished.
