*Clap, clap, clap.* Snaps in the background, "Well done! So, you can finally see them for what they really are." An angelic women's voice calls out in the background. Lukz squints his eyes then gasps his breath.
"No. Please. It can't be you!" he says painfully to himself.
"LUKZ!!" A deep-toned voice calls out,
"Kevin!" Lukz screams back. Standing to his feet, he slowly gazes up to see Kevin slumped on his knees with a multiple of bandages clasped all over his body.
"LUKZ, RUUUN!!!" Kevin screams at the top of his voice.
"Kevin!" Lukz replies, slowly stumbling forward, staring towards a tight women's figure, modelled in a rich yellow gown that clasps to individual parts of her skin. The gown looks sown into her supple curves, only covering parts of her stomach, legs and arms. Her long, dark blonde, brunette locks sway gently within the cool night breeze. "That's it Lukus.. come to me." Her soft, calming voice speaks again.
He loosely drags his blade down by his side, until dropping it to the floor as he steps closer and closer to the wall of snarling and growling Trojans, headed by this angelic woman.
"LUKZ, PLEASE!!!" Kevin screams again. The woman raps her hand around his face, smothering his mouth and silencing his words.
"I thought you were dead!" Lukz says softly, continuing to gingerly step forward.
He walks right up the women's godly figure until dropping to his knees, staring up towards her soft supple features. She parts her hair to reveal a pair of unmistakeable eyes, one green, one blue. They flicker in the dampened light surrounding them, her elegance radiates as she open's her arms, "Come to mummy, Lukus. Come be with your family again." She says, calmly.
"NO!" Kevin screams out as he twists his neck away from his mother's grasp, bighting down onto her hand!
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!" A deep sinister tone calls out from their mothers' mouth! She batters Kevin to the floor with one mighty back hand, then kicks Lukz away! Her body starts to levitate off the floor, all the Trojans around her fall silent and motionless.
"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT YOUR QUEEN!" She blurts out in a sinister tone.
Suddenly, her soft supple skin starts to blacken and tear, peeling away from her body it shows patch after patch of burned, ripe red skin, glowing with heat. Her rich yellow gown turns black and charred, crisping at the edges and torn into ribbons. Hair starts falling from her scalp, leaving only clumps of burnt black wisps, clinging to the sides of her grim white severed face. All her skin is torn and fractured, peeling away from the bone as her beautiful eyes turn to a blood red piercing colour, gleaming with an evil haze. Her nose turns inwards, leaving just an outline of two small holes with the longer strands of blackened hair clinging to openings on her face.
"That's it hunnie, come to mumma." She says in a bewitching voice, talking down to Lukz.
His eyes flash open, scars light up with his black blaze! Clinching his fists, he jumps to his feet, "What's happened to you!" He asks, painfully!
She peels open her ragged, skinless jaw, "I found the truth, little Lukus. That night I was attacked, was really a blessing!" She says, beaming her eyes towards him.
"A blessing! What are you going on about! We were helpless without you!" Lukz screams back!
"No, no, no. I was protecting you my sweet." She replies.
Lukz starts to slowly step backwards, "How! How in the world was you protecting us!" He yelps out.
She immediately swoops down, stopping only millimetres away from his face, staring eye to eye, peering straight in his sole!
"Let me show you.." She says, placing her gnarled, blackened fingers either side of his head, *WOOOSH!*
They both immediately appear in the glass boxed room, all the ages of living people and creature stare towards them both.
"PICK ME!!"
"PICK ME!!" Thousands upon thousands of voices call towards them.
"What! Why are we here!" Lukz demands.
"We are where we belong, my dear. Look." She says, pointing ahead.
Lukz stares towards the helpless groups below as they all clamber over one another, trying to get closer to them both.
"This is where those with sin, come to be granted a chance to repent." She says.
"WHAT!?" Lukz says sharply.
His evil mother snatches his hand, yanking him towards a box placed at the rooms front.
"WHAT THE!" Lukz shouts out, when he notices a group of people pouring into a giant cracked opening. It reveals a boiling, steaming flow of lava, cascading down into a hellish pit. All their faces stare blankly up to the sky, each with a desperate gaze painted across them as they look up towards a beautiful pair of golden gates, sitting amongst a fortress of silver lined clouds.
"Do you know where we are, Lukus?" She asks, softly.
Lukz snaps his gaze left and right, up and down. He steps back, then looks towards his mum,
"Is that supposed to be… Heaven and Hell?" He asks, confused.
His mother nods, "Yes, Lukus. But do you know where we were?" She says, pulling a creepy grin.
Lukz looks around, surrounded by endless amounts of glass boxes. "No! I don't get it!" he shouts out!
"HAHAHHAHAH!" His mother cackles as faces of Trojans start to appear from the shadows, jagged teeth, hundreds of piercing red eyes, claws and talons, horns and snouts, all begin to creep closer to him, shutting off every direction.
"Welcome too…PURGATORY!!" She howls out!
Lukz thrusts his fists back and forth, battering into the Trojans faces, making them evaporate one by one with every hit!
"Purgatory! Why?" He cries out in fear.
Lukz's mum starts to levitate towards him, "This is the place where those who have sinned, come to repent so they can get into heaven, or fail and go to hell! But I'm the one who decides how they repent! AHAHHAA!" she says, with a menacing screech.
"WHAT! You have been the one sending this evil to earth!" Lukz screams!
She keeps creeping closer, engulfing him in the room which now is flooded with floating faces, "No. I choose how they repent. Kevin is the one who allows them to come alive. But, you're the one who sends them to hell!" She says, with an evil grin growing upon her face.
Lukz keeps kicking and punching, forcing the shadows back, "WHAT! THAT'S CRAZY!" He replies.
Lukz's mum swoops closer to him, placing her gnarled fingers over his mouth. She shakes her head side to side, "No. It's not crazy, it's the truth! You and Kevin were supposed to be born as one, say, a Lord of purgatory. But by some miracle you were separated into twins, one with the power to summon the repenters and the other to send them to hell, if they should fail. You my son, are a Lord of Purgatory. Ahahhahahaha!" she shrieks out.
"A LORD OF WHAT!" He wails back, falling to his knees.
She nods her burnt head, "Welcome, to your destiny!"
"That's why I can never remember them? The demons leave my mind and Kevin releases them! That's why I only see glimpses?" Lukz whispers to himself.
"What was that, hunnie." Lukz's mum replies.
He snaps his gaze back towards her, "I said, you're the reason so many innocent people are dead! All those who have tried to help me! Don, Aimee, Maisey, Dave Stewards! You Killed them all!" He says, painfully!
"HAHAH, no!" She grabs Lukz's face, "I had to stop them from finding out the truth. They couldn't know you're a Lord! Humans need to believe in divinity, not know it's true. Exposing the truth would only mean one thing!" She says, gazing at him!
"MEAN WHAT!" He replies, ripping her hands away!
She looks towards her hand, then back to him, "It means, you will have to die and take your rightful place, here in purgatory! I didn't want that. I wanted you to live… but you couldn't, you couldn't just live a normal life, you had to follow your destiny. And here we are."
*WHOOSH!*
Lukz looks up to see streetlights surrounding him again, plus the tower of Trojans still soaring above. His mother stands crookedly next to a drowsy Kevin, "So, why kill us? We can help these people! Instead of turning them into these monsters of yours?" Lukz says, painfully.
His mother turns and stairs towards her army, "Help! YOU WANT TO HELP THIS SCUM! This is there true form! They let their Lords live on the streets, beat and steal from you! These things don't deserve your sympathy! They all deserve to die! That's why, with you gone, there will be no one to stop us from killing every last human on this unholy earth. I will make Kevin release each of their blackened soles into my army. No one is pure, no one deserves to pass through those golden gates!" She screeches.
"That's crazy! Everyone deserves a chance! No one is perfect!" Lukz yells back!
"HAHAHA. I don't care!" She wails out.
"JUST TRY AND KILL ME!!" Lukz screams at the top of his lungs, as a white and black blaze bursts from his skin, flaring out into an inferno rage! He sprints backwards, charging towards his bat!
"No, no, no." His mother clenches her hand, Lukz suddenly raps into a ball on the floor.
"AHH! I can't move!" He cries.
"Ahahahha, ow my boy. You're not the only one with powers, you forget. I'm a Queen, I have the power of control." She twists her hand, turning Lukz to face her, then raises her other hand to pick Kevin up off his knees.
"You have been a good boy, but now you need to let mummy finish what she has started." Her voice crackles as she twitches her fingers, making Kevin pull a pistol from his hip.
"AHHHH! KEVIN!! FIGHT IT!!" Lukz yelps as he squirms for control!
Kevin positions his gun forward, then walks towards Lukz and places it perfectly centre of his head. Kevin's deep green eye's fill with tears, causing them to pour down his face.
"Remember bro, I never miss." He says, quietly.
*BANG!*
A shell leaps from Kevin's gun, spinning through the air it twizzles and turns while floating towards the ground, clinking on the road. Lukz's eyes start to close, as his body shudders backwards, cascading down until slumping on the floor. Blood seeps from a perfectly round bullet hole within the centre of his head. His enormous blaze fades into nothing, as he lays folded. Kevin drops the gun as he falls to his knees, tears stream onto the cold tarmac surface, clumping together until they swell into a small pool of agony. Their mother turns, clicking her fingers to drag Kevin away, "Come on son, Let's go." She says bluntly, walking back towards her wall of death. Kevin closes his eyes, wipes his face then stands to his feet.
"Don't worry bro, I never miss." he says painfully, turning and walking away. The fleet of Trojans separate, letting them pass through, followed by drifting off into the distance behind Kevin and his mother. An opaque beam of light casts over Lukz's dead still body. He lays silent, with blood pooling around his neck, pouring from the hole within his head. A still noise drifts as the moon glows with a slight red flare, flickering over the abandoned road.
*Ring, ring. Ring ring.*
Lukz's eyes suddenly flash open!
