Chapter 8 - Chapter 9: Trespassing

"Josh, wait up!" A young girls voice calls out, echoing from a deep alleyway.

A Tall, fair haired boy, wearing a fluffy hoodie and ripped skinny jeans, exits the alley while quickly raising a light, glimmering it down an opaque moon lit gravel path.

"Sorry babe, I was trying to get a torch up. It's pitch black out here!" He says, turning the light towards a mousey blonde, geeky looking, fair skinned girl. Her sequin dress dazzles in the soft light, while her platform heels clunk behind her.

"Well, that's why we're going back to mine?" She replies, running towards him and slapping his ass.

"Oi, watch it. Now I get to slap yours!" He says, cupping his hands, forcing his skinny arms towards her back side as she turns away, causing him to slap himself!

"OOoooooo" He grones, holding his junk.

"Ahahha! You're such a goon! Come on! I want to have a magical dream tonight!" She calls out, with her soft silky hair dancing in the moon lit surroundings, followed by her vibrant, perfectly fitted dress.

"Ahhh, fine Pearl. Please tell me you brought the shocker! I swear we was out for over a week last time!" Josh asks, rushing over to her.

"Yes, yes. Of course!" She adds, bounding towards a shadow black path.

"Good. Now, are we at yours yet! I feel soo lost in this night light. Plus, I really want to have some fun?" He replies, excitedly.

"Not yet slowpoke, it's just through here. Then I am all yours." She replies, swinging some wavy locks away from her face, seductively biting her lip.

Josh squints, "Through here? I can't even see where here is?" He replies, looking upwards as far as he can, only just able to see the top of a forest canopy.

"You serious?" He adds, concerned. Slowly turning towards her.

"It's fine, I walk through here every day! I could do it with my eyes closed?" she replies, confidently.

"Well, you might have too? The battery on my phone is dead." He says, vigorously holding its power button down, trying to get it to turn back on.

"Ahhh, don't worry, just hold my hand and I will guide us! There hasn't been a wolf sighting in months! Now, let's go!" She swiftly adds, grabbing his arm, dragging them both into a bottomless, engulfing forest.

"Wait, Pearl! what!" He says, panicked.

As they both enter, a small unsettling breeze roams through the air, causing a flicker of light to shimmer through the leaves, slightly revealing a small rich red object in the distance. A deep, penetrating chill glides through the gigantic shadowy pit, stalking the young couples every step, sinking them deeper and deeper into the black, wooden abyss. Every sound and sense becomes heightened, causing Josh's neck hair to stand on end.

"Amy, it's getting cold out here, plus the wind is picking up. I can't see any streetlamps or house lights! how far are we?" He asks agitated, squeezing her hand tighter.

Pearl doesn't reply, she just quickly pulls him to their left, pressing up behind a tree.

"Did you see that!" She says, petrified. Starting to shake.

"What! See WHAT!" He anxiously shouts back.

Pausing, she gazes at him, with her eyes glazed in fearful tears. Suddenly, a huge grin flourishes upon her face, "AHAHAHAHA, you're such a baby!" She cries out, pushing his hands away. "Come on, it's just through...." Pearls cute voice is stopped dead by her head being lacerated clean off.
