Chapter 1 - Lucifer's Point of View

I've walked the earth for eternity, watching society change and advance over centuries. I've never really understood why I was sent here.....well more like casted down. In fully honesty, I was just curious to see my father's new creation. Obviously father wasn't so pleased with that, but it doesn't make sense. Father never really got this upset when I previously had went down to interact with his newly creations. Yeah, most of them were animals and plants, but never humans. Why was he so upset?

*FLASHBACK STARTS*

Walking into my father's office, I began to become nervous. My father had never called me or any of my other siblings into his office unless we did something bad. My father sat behind his desk, overlooking paperwork for his newly creations.

"You called for me daddy?" I asked.

He looked up at me and sighed, taking off his glasses. He waved me over and sat me on his lap like always.

"Son, why did you go down to earth?" he asked sternly but gently.

"I wanted to see your new creations," I said honestly.

Father always said that 'being honest will always get you places.' I always believed him, even now.

"They weren't ready to be seen. Not like the animals or the plants. They aren't perfect," he told me.

"I'm sorry daddy. Can I help you with them?" I asked feeling guilt.

"No. Do me a favor and stay from earth. None of your siblings or you are allowed down there," he said looking at me with a hard glare.

"But, what if I wanted to go see Luna and her puppies? Or want to go down to the waterfall that I like to go to?" I asked with a small pout.

"NO! That's final! You do not go down to earth! Or else!" he yelled, scaring me.

I looked at him with fear before running out of his office and straight to my room. My room was another area that brought a sense of comfort when I didn't go down to earth.

I could hear everything that went on in the place I called home. Sometimes it was like a prison. My father would always let me give input and helped him. I was his Morning Star. His grace of hope. He never yelled at me. Always treated me with kindness. Maybe a little slap on the wrist, but never banned me from earth. Never away from Luna or the waterfall, which was my favorite place.

I wonder how Luna is doing. She, with the help of my father, made these wolf pups. They're not ordinary wolf pups either. They supposedly turn into humans. We decided to call them werewolves. Any day now, they will shift into their little human form. Sadly they can't shift back into their wolf forms until they're a little older.

A few hours later, my eldest brother, Ezekiel, came to my room.

"Dad requests for you," he said before walking away.

I followed my brother to my dad's office. I wonder why my father requested for me again. Maybe he wants to apologize for earlier. We got to the office and there stood my father, Luna, and Aunt Nyx.

"Did they shift yet, Luna?" I asked hoping that's why she was here.

"Not yet. You didn't miss anything," Luna said.

I nodded and turned to my father.

"Daddy, you requested for me?" I questioned innocently.

Questioning him didn't help his disappointed look that he gave me. If anything, it made it worse. He came up and grabbed onto my arm tightly, causing me to wince in pain.

"What did I tell you about going down to earth?" he asked angrily.

"Not to go down there," I said in a small voice.

"Then why did you disobey me?" he asked.

"I didn't go down to earth, daddy. I swear. I was in my room the whole day after leaving your office earlier," I said trying to get out of his iron grasp.

"THEN WHY IS MY NEWLY CREATIONS SHREDDED TO PIECES?!" he yelled into my face.

I whimpered and continue to try to get out of his grasp. My brother just stood at the door not intervening. Thanks a lot so called brother. Luna turned towards Nyx. Her tail wrapped around her leg and ears flat against her head. Nyx kissed the top of Luna's head before turning to us.

"Azazel, you're hurting him. Plus he's telling the truth," Nyx said.

"Don't say anything to defend him, Nyx. He needs to be punished for disobeying my orders," my father said before breaking my arm.

I screamed in pain, and he let me go. Luna ran towards me, and held me as I cried in pain.

"Get out of my sight. I don't want to see you anymore. You're weak and useless. I should've gave you up a long time ago," my father said kicking aunt Nyx, Luna, and myself out.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

The memory was still fresh in my mind. We never really found out who was the true mastermind behind the killing of the humans back then. I'll always consider him as a father to me, even though I was sent here to Earth as punishment with barely any connection about what goes on at home.

Sighing, I rolled out of bed. It was currently 3 in the morning and I wasn't going to be able to sleep anytime soon. That makes what, 17 years of barely having any sleep? It's gotten worse over time, especially the past year. Something in me knows something will happen. I just don't know if it'll be a good thing or not.

I walked out onto the balcony that was conjoined to my room. The dark and starry night welcomed me as the cold late night breeze made me slightly shiver as goosebumps instantly covered my body and my slight body hair stick straight up. Down below me, I can see Iris train. She has been training to be able to fight werewolves, vampires, elves, and myself. Not going lie, she has put me on my ass a few times, but i'm still far better than her.

I opened my wings and flapped them around before jumping off the balcony ledge and flying over to the waterfall that I found peaceful till this very day. It's the same waterfall that I used to go to before my father casted me down here for all eternity. It was also a really beautiful spot to be at during the sunset and sunrise. The way the color reflects off the water, makes it seem magical.

I sat on the boulder that I've made my own personal seat out of and watched the sunrise. Even though I've been haunted by my memories, this place relaxes me and is a great place to start my day. I hope that I'm blessed to have a mate. I don't care for the gender. I just want someone who I can spend my eternity here on Earth with and have someone who'll love me unconditionally.

A rustle in the leaves made me snap my head in it's direction as Iris walked through the bushes. She really has been lot of help ever since she was brought here 17 years ago. Her motherly persona was something I always cherished even though she's a grade A bad-ass under that. I hope she can be reunited her mate and son. I couldn't harm her in any way. Something within me made me feel guilty and sick to my stomach anytime I think of making her into my personal slave. Actually having any slave, whether it's for sexual usage or not, made me feel sick to my stomach. So I did what I could do best, make her into my personal advisor. She helps me run my kingdom here in the lost forest of Morinrich Forest. Not many know of this place, but those who do are special and powerful. Iris sat down next to me and didn't speak. She enjoyed the silence of nature as much as I did.

"I seen your morning training," I said looking out to the waterfall.

"I'm aware. I knocked Jackson on his ass again," she said smiling.

Jackson is a werewolf, a human who can shift into a wolf. He's the strongest of them all that are living in my kingdom, and he's also the alpha to the Morinrich Pack. His ego is bigger than his head, so knowing that he got his ass handed by Iris, whom really looks like she won't harm a fly, is a big thing for her. I congratulated her as I stood up and stretch.

"Are you going to run or want me to fly you back to the castle?" I asked as I spread my wings.

"Flying would be nice. I'm sore from training," she said as she stepped closer to me.

I wrapped my arms around her as I took off and flew back to the castle. Her small frame is a lot more muscular and athletic than it was when she first arrived. I was scared that she would break 17 years ago. She was very fragile back then. Landing on my balcony, I let her go. She thanked me and went to her room to freshen up and relax her tense muscles from training. I looked outside once more before getting ready for the arrival of my aunt Nyx with Luna and a couple special guests.
