Derek passed out in the car instantly. I mean, we did do like 3 rounds of actual sex, and I did eat him out twice. So I don't blame him for being tired even though we had just woken up. We were currently heading to the Lost Kingdom that's deep in the Morinrich Forest. For Derek to be summoned, there is a big thing. Not everyone can go there of their own free will. So this is a big deal to us.
The scenery of the place was beautiful. The vast green grass and leaves on the trees were beautiful to see during this time of the year in spring. I would love to turn into either my wolf or feline form. Yes, you got that correct. I'm a hybrid. My father is the current alpha of the Filtiran Pack, and my mother is the Luna, who I hadn't seen since the battle we had with the rogues when I was a baby. But she will forever be my hero. My father tells me that I sometimes remind him of her, especially when I was a curious little pup. I have the same blonde hair she had and fair skin. I inherited his golden hazel eyes and height. My wolf's coat is the same as my platinum blonde hair, making it closer to white. While my feline, I look like a crossbreed between a calycle and a cheetah. Lengthy and fast as a cheetah, but I can jump tremendously high. I also don't road, so that's a plus when playing with the other pups in the pack. My father never did tell me what feline form my mother had. Although Aunt Viola said, she looked like a lioness mixed with a calycle.
I always wondered what my life would be like if my mother had returned. Maybe my father wouldn't have been so depressed, but it's like he can feel that she's alive somewhere and will return one day.
"We just entered the woods, so we'll be there soon," Luna said.
I nodded and shook Derek awake so that he has time to be somewhat awake when we arrive. It was dark in the woods with trees covering miles on all around us. Then up ahead, there was an opening that led to a large dark Victorian-style castle. The courtyard was kept neatly and was always presentable. Nyx parks the car in front of the door of the castle. Many maids and butlers came out to greet us and take the car to the valet-like parking garage somewhere around here. The maids took our bags to the rooms that we were assigned to as the head butler, Sebastian, comes up to us.
"Lady Luna. Lady Nyx. Blessed to be in your presence as always. This must be our guests?" he said.
"Yes, Sebastian. This here is Elder Derek and the heir of the Filtiran Pack, Zephyr," Nyx said.
"Pleasure to be in presence Elder Derek and Alpha Zephyr. My name is Sebastian, and I'm in charge of everything in the castle. Master Lucifer has been waiting for your arrival. Come, I'll take you to the throne room," Sebastian said as he led us in the direction of the throne room.
The interior reminded me of something found in the medieval days, with the long red carpet leading to the throne room and the stone walls. But it did have a touch of modern taste with the choice of furniture that was used. A sweet yet strong and musky scent that caught both Derek and I's attention. Our wolves and even my feline stirred within us. But there was also a familiar scent that lingered in the air, much like my mother's scent that I vaguely remember when I was a baby.
"Do you smell that?" Derek asks me.
"Yeah, I do. I also smell something, well more like someone else," I said back.
"Who?" he asks.
Before I get to respond, the throne room doors open, and we walk in. Sebastian bows down in respect before speaking.
"Master Lucifer, I present to you Elder Derek and Alpha Zephyr of the Filtiran Pack," he says as he steps aside.
We bow down, and when I looked up, I saw a god-like masterpiece of a man sitting in front of me. But what really caught my attention was the woman beside him. My heart stops as the world stops in place. I couldn't believe my eyes. The woman I've missed all my life stands in front of me.
"Mom?"
