CHAPTER 28; TEACH THEM A LESSON FOR YOU
Rin was surprised by Ma Roo's actions that her eyes slowly changed to pink with her face. Saet Byul, the three guys as well as Saet Byul's father and Ma Suk were all stupefied. Luckily, the girls didn't get to see Rin's eyes. This time if they saw them, they'd barely believe they were contact lenses because even in the dark. You could see them because of their fierce red light. After Ma Roo realised that Rin had calm down because even the thunder had stopped roaring, he carried her. "Saet Byul, go back home. I'll see later tomorrow." He left with Rin. He went and put her in her room. "Ma Roo, I am sorry, I couldn't control myself and hurt you and Saet Byul. Maybe my father was right locking me up." Rin cried.
"Rin, I hate it when it rains." He told her to stop crying indirectly. He then wiped away her tears. He held her hand and took her in the bath room. He emptied the tub quietly without saying anything and refilled with clean hot water. "Take a bath." He then went outside leaving her alone in the bathroom and went to the kitchen to make her something. He was crippling because his ankle was hurt and didn't get time to fix it.
"Mi Na, I am sorry to tell you this but I think that guy fell head over heels for that girl." One of Mi Na's friend told her bluntly. "Yes, he even kissed her. That was so passionate. I mean you don't need to waste your love on a scumbag like him, many rich guys are willing to do anything for you." The other first complimented the kiss but remembered that Mi Na would be angry at her. Mi Na didn't seem to be even listening to them but was recalling how she saw Rin's eyes. They were scary, what made her even more restless was how Ma Roo kissed her right in front of them. "Mi Na! Are you listening?" Her friend Do Ra told her seeing that she was a bit lost.
"Huh? What were you saying?" She finally was snapped back to reality by Do Ra. "Hey, are you sure you are fine? You seemed so out of it." Cho Rae said. "You know what guys. Playing good girl doesn't seem to work for me. I'll play my way." She gave a smirk. "Wow, that's our girl." Cho Rae said. "Ok, now go/ I need to rest." She told them. "We've just come and you chasing us out. One night won't do you bad if we sleep over." Do Ra said. "That only happened when I was still leaving in my condo." She told them. "Ok, night." The three friends went out.
Back at Ma Suk's condo, he had invited his uncle over so that they could see what Ma Roo and Rin were doing and found out more than they expected they'd. "Uncle, I think that girl was coming for me. She knows I tried to kill Ma Roo." Ma Suk stood up and went to the kitchen and took out two cans of beer for each of them. "I can't believe that Ma Roo did that. He kissed her even after he had known her true form." He opened the beer can in disbelief. "I wonder how now we'll get to do things our way with her in the way." Ma Suk said with a smile on his lips but disappointment in his eyes. "Better be extra careful, now that she knows it's you. You never know her capabilities. I can't believe even Saet Byul knew about this, as long as my daughter isn't hurt," The two conversed with beer as escorting their conversation.
Rin came out of the room dressed in a simple plain white night dress, her hair flowing down her body. "Ma Roo, I am done. Your ankle, is it fine?" She remembered well everything that had happened. "Come, sit. It's time for dinner." He said as if nothing had happened signalling her to sit on the chair beside his. He had prepared rice with bean sprout stew and a few more side dishes with fresh kimchi. Rin sat obediently beside him. He ate silently. "Aren't you going to eat?" Ma Roo asked her. "Huh? I am." She then held her spoon and dug in. After eating, Ma Roo carried all the dishes away. "Ma Roo, I am going to wash the dishes." She stood up. "It's okay. I wasn't going to help you anyway. You will wash them tomorrow morning." He smiled. "Oh, then?!" She didn't know what to say next exactly, she felt guilty for lying to him and hurting him. "Rin, I am sorry, I had always taken you for a fool and didn't believe you." He told her sincerely. "I am also sorry for everything." She also apologised. "You don't need to be sorry. It's not like it's your fault." She smiled seeing Ma Roo was being understanding. "Rin, by the way. Have we ever met before?" He asked her. "Yes." She replied. "When?" He asked looking forward to her answer. "Was it ten years ago?" She said unsure. "Wait here." He crippled to his room first and bent, under his bed where he took a dusty mini black suitcase. He beat off all the dust and took it Rin.
"Rin, I wanted…" Before he could say much more. Rin squat down and touched his ankle, she put on her palm which was glowing purple now. "What are you doing?" He asked and removed his ankle immediately but was surprised to find out that it didn't hurt anymore. "Thank you!" He said awkwardly. "What were you saying?" She asked. "Oh, I was showing this." He opened the suit case. There was a photo that caught Rin's attention. It was of Ma Roo's mother with another lady whose hair was just like Rin's but just that it was just slightly after shoulders. "Ma Roo, how is my mother n this photo?" Rin asked. "I thought you quite looked alike but it didn't make sense. She was a friend of my mom who usually came over. She also had the same bracelet as the one you had." He told her. He then removed the clothes and put them on the floor, at the bottom, there was the head camera he was wearing. He removed the SD card, he then put it in his MacBook through a card reader and transferred all the data on it.
He played the last video. it started when he was roaming around the house, he then walked to his parent's room and found them quarrelling while his mom was packing. She then went and he ran after her to the beach but then since it was raining, he slid and fell into the water. The camera had captured a third of Rin's fin. When she put him back on the shore, it also captured her face but suddenly she was pulled into the sea by someone. Then after a while Ma Roo's father also came and got him. Ma Roo paused from there.
"At that time, everyone thought I was crazy when I told them I saw you." He said and smiled. "I am sorry. Ma Roo, tomorrow, I'll go and teach for you everyone a lesson." Rin told Ma Roo. "That would be great but I want to cut off all ties with that family. Not even my useless father." He said in disdain. "But Ma Roo, your brother ordered that man to kill you, he won't ever stop. He almost succeeded this time. What does he want exactly?" She asked.
"I don't know too, but they took everything I had. Except for the school and these apartments. I am too weak to fight them." He said. "I can help you get back everything. I can kill them for you." She said. "You won't be any different from them then. You can't go on killing everyone, I'll leave the country after repaying my loan and studying." He said as he put back everything in the suitcase. "You can keep that photo." He gave her the photo. "Thanks." She said.
At a certain mansion, Mrs. Hong Ga Ya, was alone seated on the large dining table having dinner. "Butler Gi!" She called her butler, a man in his 50's in a black suit ran over to where she was. "Yes, ma'am." He stood upright. "Go, tell the king, I found the princess but I couldn't do anything because she didn't have her power brake but I'll keep an eye on her." She told her butler. "Ok, ma'am. I'll go this instant." The man then left.
-Deep down in the sea palace-
"Sire, the princess doesn't have her power brake, we've received the information from your sister." The king's foreman told him. "Ok, I get it. I guess it's time for that she gets to know the truth. I can't hide it anymore." He sighed.
