I had woken up at 5 o'clock by the rather intense ringing of the irritating alarm clock. I frowned, feeling my headache searing across my forehead.
Looking around, the cold and gloomy apartment wasn't just a mess, it was a disaster zone. It looked like a drunken cyclone had erupted in my shelf strewing the books across the floor, then made it's a haphazard way across to the desk to do the same to my school work. Tiny triangles of construction paper from yesterday's mosaic project, a cheerio and a raisin; all of them lie on the now dirty rug near the dusty window that hasn't been opened for months now.
The grey of the wall was diffuse, like the sun on a storm cloud. The stench of old rotten food and the damp smell makes my nose immediately wrinkles in disgust and the stench brings tears to my eyes.
I got up from the bed, walking carefully to the closet as to not injure myself from yesterday's shattered glass and took my travelling clothes from the drawer and stared down with a growing sense of dread. I quickly went to the bathroom and stared at the girl once known as me, Park Yoona. I ran my chubby hands through my short, black, curly hair and stood towering over the sink. 'Today was the day' I thought. I hurried and jumped in the shower.
Changing into a black crop-top and a blue ripped jeans with a pair of white trainers, I decided to let my hair down, it fells in slackening curls to my shoulder. Water drops were loudly tapping against the window panes: the wind was howling through the trees causing the branches to sway slightly.
