Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

My stomach growled noisily in the eerie, quiet apartment, bringing a slight blush to my pale as white paper cheeks, reminding of my malnutritions due to my depression. Lifting the ham of my top, I looked down at my milky skin sticking to my bones. I gently traced the scar on the right side of my torso. I still remembered the day vividly.

I glanced at my wall clock, at 6 o'clock it read. "Exactly 2 hours left" I mumbled to myself.

Looking around the messy apartment, I sighed. ' This might be the last time I see the apartment for a while' I thought.

I shuffled downstairs with my massive, heavy luggage, feeling exhausted and worn out. Walking into the kitchen, I opened the fridge door to get a water bottle and yesterday's leftover pizza out. After heating the pizza and sat down on the white stool, placed the pizza on the black graphite worktop, I began eating my breakfast steadily.

I looked around my sloppy kitchen. It wasn't one of the massive and magnificent kitchens you see on the TV, no it was not even near. My kitchen was small, dank and filthy. Months of old magazines on the worktop. Old food tins and cardboards with still expired leftover food inside, pilled next to the overflowing black bin.

Silence.

That's all can be heard in the tiny, cramped apartment.

After I finished having my breakfast, I placed my dishes in the sink and hurriedly picked up my keys, shoving it in my pocket, putting my size 4 ripped trainers and a long grey trenchcoat, I walked out of the door with my luggage.

it was chilly and my arms pricked with gooseflesh; the cold wind made me shiver.

I walked up to my car, Ford Puma, the one I have got my for my seventeenth birthday 3 years ago.

I put the suitcase in the trunk and then I hopped in the driver's seat.

'It's time for a little visit' I wondered; starting the car, I went to the nearest flower shop to purchase some blue roses.

'Her favourite' I grinned.
