Do you have any questions young Fae? The spirit finally finished listing the dangers that went with this decision and Zel was noticeably torn on one hand his potential would be monstrous on the other having to live under the radar would make life difficult just dealing with the general discrimination of Fae kind might be a problem. Then one question popped into his mind the he knew would be the decider. "Who will become aware that I personally completed the trial" the spirit stop an look at Zel and responded " no one shall know but most gods will know the trial has been done while few beings below their level will become aware also but they will not immediately know that it's you." Zel smiled he knew of a way to disguise himself all he had to do was create an illusion spell as long as the whole world didn't know it was him he'd be fine for awhile anyway.
"I'm ready let's start the trial"
"Ok" the spirit said while leading him to a small stone path that stopped in the center of the pond as Zel sat on the center stone the spirit began to explain the trial
" what you must do is focus the mana in the surroundings bring it together and create a ball then use the mana in your body and mix them together once they mixed bring them into your body and the spirit shall form."
Zel just looked at her for a couple of seconds. Honestly he didn't know how to feel that was the most basic explanation he ever heard an honestly he was sure the Ai for the spirit was missing a few brain cells because if that's the way the Fae were taught to create there spirits they really missed a couple major things. Creating a spirit for Fae had a similar process of creating a god in New Orbis the major changes were materials used and the whole connection to the character the main thing that was the same is you didn't just create a fucking ball you made a person I mean all higher tier spirits and spirit kings were unmistakable from normalish people hell every natural spirit look like a incredibly small person. The form was dictated by the creator yah the shape changes based on age or power like a natural growths system but if you created a ball that's all it would be a ball maybe it could create arms and legs for itself or maybe even change itself to look like you for awhile but a ball is a ball. What zel didn't realize is the mana control necessary to create a perfect looking human image was beyond what natural Fae could do they only had a natural affinity not full control so Fae spread the ball idea that would make it easy for a new Fae to create the spirit for the trial. But what really pissed Zel off about this whole ball thing is that it took away all creativity and life out of a fully functioning ai he would always consider any ai he personally created family who would want a family member that would be nothing more than a ball of sentient life at the end of the day especially when you had a say in the matter plus spirit unification you took some of the attributes of the actual spirit if they had none how would the change be two beings coming together . As the spirit was about to continue Zel said "I'll create him my way"
Zel's eyes focus and the mana in the surrounds began to rumble and all the low tier spirits and the guardian fell silent. Wave after wave of mana moved in the surroundings Zel was initially disappointed about how much mana was under his control thinking back to his times as Quinton where he could make whole planes devoid of mana if he wanted to as his god tier moderator account. As the man congealed the mana in his body began pumping out of his hands like clay the mana began to take shape he created an image with the mana forming legs a cut torso arms with defined muscles white hair and golden eyes while the hands seems rapped in a metallic like cloth while also creating a image of pants and metallic boots Zel disregard creating a shirt because he thought it was unnecessary as the 6'2 being stood there Zel began to feel the affects of mana exhaustion when he suddenly had an idea he created a band around the future spirts forehead quickly and in the middle wrote the true Rune that symbolized the word Chaos as he completed it he felt all his mana drain as he felt himself about to pass out he barely spoke out "condense" the large man quickly became smaller and floated raidiating a power that shouldn't be possible for a new spirit as it slowly merged with his body and became almost like a small child in the fetal position in the middle of his chest Zel blacked out. What surmounted to a couple of minutes Zel sat there unmoving and the guardian spirit almost couldn't contain her shock if she couldnt understand Zel's fragile state she would be yelling an screaming Zel essentially manually created what would a correlate to a high tiered spirit maybe even king tiered or higher the last rune it felt was anything but normal. As Zel slowly woke up the guardian didn't know what to say and all the other spirit were still hiding afraid of what had just happened. "What did you do"
"Huh I created a spirit if I was stronger I probably could of made him better I'm surprised I didn't die" Zel was honestly disappointed if he put on more runes the spirit would be anything but normal he was happy with the one but more wouldn't hurt. "But how do you know runes you were born today!!!" Zel felt awkward runes were a mechanic he created that led to true sources everything had a true source light darkness fire water air. Gods were connected to true sources while runes didn't make up the spell language runes led to power connecting with a rune carving runes on your body let one feel that source of power and potentially draw on it chaos was an all encompassing rune it was the foundation of every other source of power having runes carved on ones body was pretty typical for high leveled people plus it's not like he'd instantly be able to cast chaos magic the main thing is the spirit would be able to connect better with the energies of the natural world for now. every god had a bunch of runes written on to the equivalent of their souls so they could learn easier and helped shaped their traits Zel thought of it as nothing but this universe base code the original spirits he created all had runes carved into them too. "It was just something I thought would look cool I didn't know it meant anything" Zel decided to play stupid it's not like he was wrong it really was just a symbol the main Ai who managed the game might flag him and put level restrictions on it but it wouldn't do anything about it especially because it didn't have any contact with the actual gods of the game all it did was look for bugs it didn't say anything about what could or couldn't happen. "You're very strange young Fae". The guardian spirit looked genuinely confused but what could it do.
