Gary stared blankly at The Girl. Of course her actual name was Rainbow Aimes. She was the Aimes. Sheffield's and Aimes' had been going for generations, mainly due to the Aimes' ability of their magic child always being a girl. He didn't know how it worked but their had never been a male Aimes with magic.
Staring at her now, he realised the key features of an Aimes in her appearance. The rainbow hair, signature scowl, similar aura... and her pretty looks. They were always extremely beautiful so that they could manipulate people into doing what they desired - or lure them to their deaths.
Gary had been warned about the Aimes' since he was born. They were the ones who had killed his grandfather, way before he was even born. His father had lived in fear of them ever since this girl's mother had attempted to murder him too. He didn't know all the details but he knew that she could kill him in more ways than he could count.
Rainbow was doodling in her exercise book, she looked kind of frustrated and maybe slightly upset. She didn't seem dangerous. She was leaning her head on her hand, obviously bored, and had swept the right section of her hair over her shoulder, revealing her neck. Gary smiled, she was a person just like the rest of them, he thought.
"Rainbow?!" The teacher hollered, they both looked up. Apparently the teacher had been asking Rainbow a question. He stared at the board and quickly realised that he'd zoned out and that he didn't understand anything the teacher had written.
"The answer is sodium chloride." She answered bluntly. Gary stared at her again. How had she known that? Then his gaze fell to her 'notes'. There was just doodles of flowers, pretty design ideas and death threats to Barry. Wait...? Death threats to Barry?
How had she answered that question so quickly? She wasn't even paying attention...
