I looked around the room. "MALCOLM!" I yelled.
Just a moment later he runs into the room.
"Kai? Is it really you?" He looked me up and down. As soon as he stepped closer I knocked him back. "I see you've gotten stronger." He says standing up. "But you look just the same." He tilted his head.
"What happened Malcolm?" I questioned him.
He sighed. No response.
"What the hell happened, Malcolm?!" I repeated. I took a step closer as I looked up at him. "I need the truth." I spoke with rage echoing in my voice.
"A lot happened, Kai. But you're alive because of me."
"Yeah and I also died because of you! You think this means that I'm okay with you! You ruined my life and it looks like you've ruined Auden's as well." I explain.
He looks away from me. "I'm sorry." He says.
"Then why?" I ask. "Why do you continue to do this?" I try to stay calm.
Of course he has nothing to say. "How did you know where I was?" I continue to ask questions.
"How did you know that I needed help?" I look into his eyes.
"I.. I knew Ms. Bailey was up to something. I placed a tracker on her. So it led me to you." He explains.
Suddenly I grow even more angry. "I have to get out of here.." I say.
He grabs my arm as I try to walk past him. "Maybe that's not such a good idea. You're not even wearing clothes." He looks down for just a second. I push him off instead.
"Give me your lab coat." I say in a bold voice.
He hesitates. Finally he hands it to me. "Good luck." He says in an angry tone.
I wrap up in the lab coat and I walk to the door. A few doors later I finally find a way out. I walk out and I run. I keep running as all I want to do is escape. I run into the road. I see a car at full speed heading my way. I stand there for a second but suddenly I feel a push.
I'm pushed out of the way by a pair of strong hands. I land on the cold grass and just above me is Malcolm. "What the hell are you doing?!" He yells.
"Go away, Malcolm!" I yell back.
"Listen to me Kai, you can't be seen." He explains.
"What? Why not?" I ask.
"Because I can't have people knowing about this."
I roll my eyes. "Get off of me Malcolm." I say struggling.
"Then calm the hell down!"
"I don't have to listen to you!" I shout.
"Please.. Just try." He says in a soft voice.
I sigh and lean my head back. "Get off." I say again. "Before I do something else." I add.
