Philip and Kray ran like hell when a group of Lv. 13 Youngling Treants about 20 of them and a few Lv. 15 Treants chased at them in aggression. The two doesn't seem to mind running around as if it's their usual routine.
The two jumped passed the channeling Sally.
"Oh Master of the arcane magic. Heed this student in the arcane way and blast everything in sight, Arcane Wave!" She chanted.
A wave of blue pure energy hit every chasing Youngling Treants and Treants. Their branches scorched a little as every treant wailed to the ground in pain and agony. All the Youngling Treants are closed to death and the treants fell to their knees, about 3/4 of their maximum health gone in a blink of an eye.
Sally felt her knees shaking when Geraldine immediately assisted her from her shoulders. Weakness is felt in her due to the sudden depletion of mana. It would take about 5 hours to regain her mana back to full.
Mana potions are a scarcity in this world and is very expensive and would cost a hundred thousand Florencian coins for one (depends on the economical strenght of the continent) that is why most adventurer just rely on their wisdom and Intelligence stat to increase their mana regeneration. Most combat talent just make sure they have enough mana for their skills, sometimes they would rely on enchanted weapons and armor to gain mana and mana regeneration since combat talented individual mostly gain level on strength, agility or stamina or put their stat points on mentioned stats so not much investmen is placed on intelligence and wisdom unless you are a magic user of mana centric user.
"Philip! Crimson! Now!" Almost immediately Kray, after the blast of blue light dispersed, called out the two to deal with the wailing treants. Crimson would cast 'Searing Chains' at the Lv. 15 Treants and Kray and Philip would target the Lv. 13 Youngling Treants as they are just about one more bash before they die.

[You Level up!]
A massive influx of experience rush through their souls as they keep killing all the remaining treants wailing on the ground and to think it is only the beginning.
The gang started extracting loot on the treants, fruits and branches as well as leaves from the Treants are worth a good amount. All of these loot are then given to Philip. Though, Philip feeling annoyed a bit, still felt a little gratitude towards the action. He has been aiming to be an adventurer because that is where the fortune is, that is where the fame is, that is where the power is. If you have all three, no one will think twice in stabbing you on the back.
To think the people he hates the most are the most sincere, even Chester whose mouth keeps running rampant wherever it goes suddenly has a tone of sincerity. Philip hates it though, he always have hated Kray and Chester's guts. These weaklings who he keeps pestering a lot are as strong and willful yet not boastful and down to earth. However, he is still too blind sided to see their sincerity and sees it as mockery and willful because of his ego and pride blocking his sight but it is wavering a little bit.
"Whew. I leveled up." Kray wiped the sweat on his forehead as he smile in satisfaction. It would take him months just to gain a level, he was behind especially having to rely only on excercise and the dummies in Ms. Castle's training ground. He also started pretty late, if he didn't pursue and done his work, he wouldn't even be qualified to enter an adventurer school this year. To think the school would give them a head start. He leveled up in just one go, imagine the upcoming days he still have to utilize this chance.
He then turned his direction towards his team.
"Since Sally needs some rest from casting the big AOE spell, we have to lure the enemy 2 or 3 at a time."
"Hmm!" Everyone agreed in unison. The gain is just so exciting and to think it haven't even reached 7:00 AM yet and to think it is still their first day, just imagine the next few days, they would be far ahead but of course, they are still immature for a real adventure.
Somewhere in the Great Blue Sea nearing the continent of Schrym. The Black Beard ship sailed in a constant speed; a speed that wind gushing through it is gentle and bliss. Ms. Castle looked at the empty horizon until the continent of Schrym slowly float up her vision.
Schrym is a deserted continent that only has 2 separate seasons in a year. It doesn't snow and the heat scorched the air as the horizon waved constantly.
Ms. Castle is always excited to visit Schrym even when she isn't new to the place, maybe because of the change in pace or the welcoming sensation of the warmness of the sun. Unlike Schrym, Florence has four seasons and winter is just something she couldn't bear, she just hates it entirely, maybe bacause of their poor status when she was still young and her family couldn't provide so much during winter, it could have carried a psychological experience or integrated into an attitude of hers.
Mr. Gustav approached the reminiscing Ms. Castle as both looked at the tiny image of Scrhym in the far horizon.
"Ahhh. Like good ol' times, right?" He sighed,
"Yep. I remember how Auriel just bust out his suit of armor and just attacked everywhere." She reminisce,
"I got my buttocks burned. Who would have thought at that time that he would also want to stop the illegal miners who didn't apply for a permit." Mr. Gustav replied,
"Yeah. We still got a reward from that and he just casually joined in without even asking. heheh." Ms. Castle chuckled,
"Auriel was just something." He reminisce,
"Are we still too far? I don't know much about ships." She asked,
"It'll take a day before we could land." He replied,
"Hmm." Sadness filled her quiet reply. She remembered the day when Will was just your typical shy guy and still manage to get the heart of Erina, whom many worship as the number one beauty in the world at that time. She knows Will is not a bad guy, not even close to an evil person too. Yet, he is instilling fear to all. It was just a few days ago where he attacked a town in Nashka.
'He must have had a reason.' She thought.
Mr. Gustav noticed Ms. Castle's blank and sad look but kept his mouth shut. He also has no qualms towards Will, as a matter of fact, he is as shocked as the others are. All he could do is be with them and if he has to face Will, for the people of the world, he will not hesitate to put him down even if it is as heavy as it feels.
Mr. Gustav placed his hand on Ms. Castle's shoulder and carressed her to comfort. The week would be long with the Meeting of the Kings this Wednesday, 2 days from now. The kings will announce Will as a global threat and put a huge bounty on his head.
A vessel ship approached Black Beard Ship. The Black Beard Ship stopped as the vessel stood side by side until a voice machine announced.
"Good Morning Sir Treasure! Do you have a permit to enter?" The coastal guard said,
The two went to the side, all of Mr. Gustav's lackeys just glanced to the side with a indifferent face. With how many years they have served in Mr. Gustav's Black Beard ship, they are already used to the sight of other continent's coastal guards.
"I do!" as he showed a signed paper to enter the continent of Scrhym signed by the Monarch of Scryhm himself.
"Hmm. Thank you, Sir Gustav. You may proceed. Safe sailing." The coastal guard said.
Mr. Gustav nod and commanded his lackeys to set sail. His henchmen immediately work their muscles and prepared to voyaging. The anchorman swing the anchor and continued onward to the land of Scryhm.
