In the conference room somewhere inside the castle of the Monarch in the deserted continent of Scryhm.
A powerhouse of people from various continents gathered to discuss about the recent events regarding the global threat, Will Thread. Once a member of the Legendary Party, once the Master Puppeteer of Panja, now called 'The Pestilence' that brings terror and destruction wherever he pleases. He is now considered pure evil and should be eradicated as soon as possible.
"Good Morning everyone, Monarch Tut of Scryhm. King James VI of Florence. Emperor Kurov of the Thousand Isles. High Priestess Layla of Nashka. President Cory of Panja. Head Councilor Lou of Chenghu. Good Morning. This gathering, with all the leaders of the six continents, is to discuss the threat that is Will Thread, now known as 'The Pestilence'." The adviser of Scryhm introduced.
The round table consist of the Leaders of the six Continent, the advisers on their left and the respective legendary heroes on their right.
"I think we all understood and in agreement that Will Thread is already considered as a global threat?" King James raised as everyone nodded their head to the fact,
"But how do we stop him?" Monarch Tut asked as he grinned,
"With the help of the legendary party, of course." Emperor Kurov replied,
"We don't have a pattern of his attack, so how are we going to deploy the legendary party then? We can't have an uncertain goose chase." President Cory rebuttal,
"We have to retain our members as to where they are assigned to." Emperor Kurov replied,
"And how of my Panja then? The threat is Will Thread, our own legendary member. We lack a defender for our continent." President Cory reasoned,
"I agree with President Cory and even If Erina Godwill is still alive today, Nashka can't defend against an offensive force if my legendary member is a support oriented adventurer." High Priestess Layla agreed with President Cory,
"I also second dead. Ms. Castle is defensive oriented. I don't think we have the firepower against it." King James added,
"Our problem is offensive measures against Will Thread, right? What we need is a weapon." Monarch Tut said, losing his usual silly demeanour. Everyone looked at him seriously waiting for him to reply,
"Let's make a weapon. A weapon strong enough to eradicate Will Thread and his puppets, a weapon strong enough to put threats like this at bay, a weapon that can protect a continent. Mass produce this weapon and provide the other continent with it." Monarch Tut said.
The faces of the leaders, advisers and the legendary party looked agitated. They see the intentions of the Monarch. Scryhm has been the leading continent in terms of fire power and economic wealth. Their advances in technology are the reasons for their economic leaps that leave the other continent struggling to keep up. That is why other continent such as Panja and Chenghu left the traditional way of governing. Oligarchy is just too blinded for advances and too focus on personal gains while religious power held the governance stuck on the written scriptures of god. So they are trying other system of governance such as Capitalism and Democracy. Scryhm is just a combination of both and somehow manage to deliver greatly and became a powerful continent. As long as there is cooperation from its people then it will be a walk in the park.
"What kind of weapon are you proposing?" King James asked as a drop of sweat flowed down his sideburn,
"A kind of weapon where even the most common of man, not focused in support or combat talent, can easily wield." Monarch Tut replied,
"Such weapon is possible? Sounds so destructive and risky." High Priestess Layla questioned,
"Yes but if used as a defensive tool for rising threat, it wouldn't be a problem." The adviser of the Monarch replied, he is bald, no facial hair and has brown skin,
"Bring out the weapon!" Monarch Tut exclaimed.
A beautiful lady with smooth brown skin, luscious body and a rich and voluptuous investment walked admirably as she carry a pillow, on top is what is suppose to be the weapon that the Monarch raised to everyone.
Everyone's eyes fixed on the weapon carried by the lady, the lady is a display on her own but everyones attention is on the weapon except for Mr. Gustav, she looked at the lady like a target.
The lady bowed in front of the Monarch and placed the display on the table in front of him.
"I call this bad boy 'Mana' gun." Monarch Tut introduced,
"We found in our research that mana is more destructive that before it is converted to any form of skill or magic and the best part of all that is mana is found literally on any living being that includes us humans. This gun is fueled by pure mana. By injecting mana in this gun can bring a destructive force that ignores all defensive equipment, all defensive passive skills and all defensive titles. With this gun, no offense to the Fortress of Florence, even Ms. Sheila Castle's unprecedented defence is just but words and numbers." The adviser of the Monarch explained in full detail.
"Wouldn't that backfire?"
"What if you miss?"
"Wouldn't you fall unconscious due to mana deficiency?"
"This is still a prototype, we are still trying to develop the perfect design that would not backfire and no defects. No need to worry about missing, with the technology that Mr. Auriel provided from his heat seeking missiles and improving it, it will always be accurate and so far the ammunition only needs 200 points of mana and we are still trying to have it up to 150 point of mana. you won't have to worry about mana deficiency at all." The advisor answered,
"A revolutionazing technology I must say!" Monarch Tut exclaimed,
"That sounds so destructive."
"If this will be released in public, chaos will surely immense."
"There will be regulation." Emperor Tut rebuke,
"Is this not one of your scheme to get more wealth." High Priestess Layla raised an eyebrow,
"I am not gonna deny High Priestess. In order to bring forth the welfare and future of my people, such greed is not bad. But think about it. No offense to the legendary party with us today but who is stopping these monsters? Will Thread, a legendary hero, a being above all else. Who is regulating them when they go rogue? It is already happening and we can't wait for another one to rise. I am not saying any of you will go rogue. But the what if's scares me and if they do happen and we don't have an answer, a sure downfall will happen." Emperor Tut added,
"And if the ordinary person uses this weapon you state? We are convincing ordinary people for crime? Who is going to stop them from raising a revolution. This weapon is against the word of God." High Priestess Layla questioned,
"The ordinary person also. What we all are doing is protecting our respective continent, that is the reason for our meeting today. This weapon is a surefire way of leveling the playing fields. That everyone has a chance of protection." Emperor Tut defend,
"I agree with Emperor Tut. We can't have overpowered men abuse their abilities just 'cause no governance can put them in place." King James agreed.
"I would also agree. I am not the same as you all. My class is only but a farmer, not a fighter, not anything but an ordinary citizen. If my continent only depends on the heroes of legend that would be alright but it is only a matter of time before our heroes put down their arms and retire, who is gonna defend the continent then?" President Cory added,
"I also agree but I would like to disclose that weapon this destructive should be with proper regulations and authorized only to the guard force of each continent or persons with permit allowed by our respective regulatory divisions. Can't have criminal people having a reason to do crimes." High Councilor Lou added,
"Then we can have our respective continent pass laws for the regulation. I would l communicate with you all once the final product will be done and mass produce. For now, we asked the remaining legendary heroes to investigate and deal with the threat that is Will Thread." Emperor Tut grinned.
The meeting disclosed and everyone ajourned. Everyone felt like the meeting was more like a product pitch than addressing the issue but the issue was still addressed nonetheless.
High Priestess Layla left the room disagreed while others are now asking their respective advisers in regards with their continental budget.
Ms. Castle left the room still thinking of the business man who approached her yesterday. She still felt the familiar vibe to him but she just can't point out.
