Three years back..
Diya was Divya...
"Divya, wake up! Do you want to be late on your first day itself. I have no idea how you managed to get this job and see how lazy you are even now. Without this job, we can't run this family. You will not understand anything untill you become a mother like me." Every mother have a story to tell while waking their kids up.
"Why do you start this in the morning itself Mekha." :- Her father-in-law complained.
It was only the three of them who stays in that small house. Divya has a brother who is studying in high school and he stays with her dad abroad.
Divya is a happy-go-lucky girl with so much of colours in her life. She was only twenty when she took up the responsibility of a family. She knows what to do and how to live to take care of them.
"Divya, should I pour water on you or are you getting up now?"
"Mom, why do you always shout at me in the morning. Try to wake me up softly. This is spoiling my mood for the whole day."
"Ok fine. Divya baby, please wake up. The sun is shining so bright just like your chubby pretty face.":- her mom said mockingly while preparing the lunch.
Divya had no time to argue because it is her first day at the office and she does not want any delay. She took a shower, dressed up neat and packed her bags. She wanted to call her dad and tell about the job but something pulled her back. She took the cab, as it was her first day.
Her office is about 15km away from her home and hence, to reach on time beating all the traffic, she should start off by atleast 8am. Getting a job at Sharma Groups at this young age was not a small thing. It is one of the best advertising and modelling conpany of the country with branches all over the world. The company with a turnover of about thousand crore and yearly profit of bout five hundred crores. It was more than what she expected the company to be.
"How should I start my day? How will I introduce myself?" She is confused and the same time excited.
The office is almost ten floors and the parking lot was already filled with hundreds of cars and bikes. She hesitated as her age is only twenty, too young to stand on her own in this big media web.
She walked slowly into the office while her eyes are busy checking out the new places and people. She noticed how modern, the girls dressed and some staffs are in their uniform. She reached the reception and enquired where the CEO's cabin is, to give the appointment letter.
"Sir is in a meeting. Please wait for thirty minutes in the lobby. We will inform you soon, madam."
Divya walked into the lobby and sat on the couch. She picked up the business magazine and went through it. She saw the article of Sharma Group.

She felt goosebumps all over because Dhruv has been her crush since the day his name was printed on the newspaper for the first time. She got lost in the article that thrity minutes went by quickly without her knowing. Soon she was called and went to the cabin. She noticed his name engraved on the wooden pallette. 'DHRUV SHARMA'. She moved her hands over it before entering into the cabin. She gathered all her confidence and asked.
"Sir, may I come in?" which was left unanswered and she knocked again. She heard a voice calling her in and cleared her throat.
Dhruv is in the chair busy with a phone call. He was talking to someone in a rush while typing something on his ipad at the same time. She waited for a few minutes but he didn't seem to notice her. So Divya headed to him and handed over the appointment letter which he waved off. The letter fell down and at the same time her confidence too. She took the letter again and kept on the table in front of him. Meanwhile, Dhruv has started to get angry to the person he was talking to which ended in throwing the airpods to the floor.
"Sir, I am Divya. The new appointment as groomer. That is my appointment letter and I have got all my certificates. Please have a look at them." She said politely but at the same time was scared about how he would react.
Dhruv got up from the chair and pushed her back while he rushed out of his cabin. Divya was left alone surprised. She couldn't believe that her dream man and icon would be this rude to his staffs. She went out of the cabin and asked the receptionist for the manager. The manager came down and looked at the appointment letter. He comforted her and took her to the cabin. He also provided Divya with a staff to explain her all the works.
"Hina, help Divya on her first day and make sure she is comfortable here." Jacob left Hina behind with her while he went on with his works.
The begining of the day was more than she could handle but she has to stay there for her family. She tried to forget the way Dhruv behaved and tried to concentrate on her work. Hina was very friendly and he explained everything very well that she easily understood the way of her work and regained her confidence. Hina was called out for a meeting and she was reading all the past shows conducted to study about it.
She got a phone call from the CEO's cabin which panicked her. She told herself "Have courage and be kind." and went to his cabin. She saw Dhruv waiting for her with some papers. He handed over thr paper to her without saying a word. She opened the papers and saw the schedule of the next contest to be conducted. It was on the coming thursday which means she has only three days to groom all the participants.
"I need the complete list of the participants for the contest with their profile tomorrow morning itself. You can collect the details from Hina." :- Dhruv said sternly.
"But sir, the office is only till 5pm and now it's already 3pm. I need more time." :- Divya said worriedly.
"This is not a government office or a school to be closed on the exact time. Do overtime work and finish this before tomorrow morning. You are not gonna get an excue on your first day." :- Dhruv shouted at her.
She left the cabin quick and ran to her room. This pressure was lot more than she or any other girl of her age could handle. She wanted to quit but then she doesn't have another option to earn. She called Hina to get the names of the participants and engaged in her works.
