While Lindsay didn't know many things about herself or the supernatural world, she certainly knew what an Alpha was.
"Alpha?" Lindsay said almost annoyed "Are you the man that's making the decision of my survival?"
"We don't have time for this" Trevor said fastly. Wanting to use all the time he had left to run.
"They are coming from the southside, fastly too" Elios said, touching the ground to get direction. "Prepare the pack, and attack from the east"
"Yes sir!" Trevor said while mindlicking the pack and running towards the door, alerting everyone he could see.
Elios had decided to stay with Lindsay, he was sure they would defeat them as they were the strongest pack in America and hardly anything ever passed them. He had never done this before, leave his pack for battle but he couldn't tell why, there was something about Lindsay he just needed to understand.
Moving to safer place, as the pack house is usually the place anyone would search.
"Nice place" she said, looking at all the technology and coding on the screens "Didn't take you guys as electronics expert"
"We're not. Do you know anything about anything?" he said vexed while trying to keep an open mind.
"Excuse me?" she replied back "What's that supposed to mean?"
"The supernatural world, what do you know" he replied back taking in a deep breath and changing his tone.
"Not much, my father explained some things to me when I was young. At one point they thought I was a psychic, turned out I wasn't" she explained "They almost erased my memory, but they found out my mother was supernatural and let it rest"
"It still doesn't make sense" Elios said straightforwardly "The first day.. in that glass.. I felt an undeniable pull to protect you but now you mean nothing to me"
Lindsay gasped of annoyance, she had never met someone that would trigger her so deeply to her roots.
"I refuse to speak to *ssh*les" she said as she gathered herself and walked towards any spare room she could find open
"You're not running away from me" Elios said as he took her hand and had her pinned to the wall unable to move. Lindsay not knowing what to do looked at him, straight to his eyes. Her father had taught her to never show her fear because it would become her weakness, and at that moment she had everything to fear for.
He had never done that before with anyone, but there was something about her he just needed to see for himself
"You're scaring her" his wolf said whimpering, able to read past her cloaked face.
"I know" he replied back to his wolf and let her out of his embrace. She immediately started walking away, anywhere but there she told herself.
"For what its worth.." he said facing the opposite direction "I've never met anyone like you"
"Well, its worth nothing when you don't treat her right" she said disgusted as she strumbled against a man that took her by her neck.
Elias, being too far to do anything responded
"What do you want" to the man holding her.
"What the f*ck" Lindsay yelled as the man tried to choke her to death.
"Her life" the man replied back as Elios went running full force, punching the man roughly enough to have him fall to the ground and the walls begin to shake.
"There's a man that escaped and came he-" Trevor began running from the opposite side of the hallway. "Guess thats handled" he said, as he looked down towards the man and Lindsay coughing.
"That deserves a thank you" Elios said towards Lindsay, expecting a response
"For all I know that was planned" Lindsay said cunningly "But if it makes you feel better any better, I appreciate you not letting me die after you kidnapped me or bought me for all I know"
Elias licked his lips in annoyance, "Does she know who I am?" he told himself in absolute fascination, no one had ever defied his order.
Finally realizing Trevor was next to him, with a look on his face anyone could read, He asked Trevor collect the man for further investigation and ordered a maid to get Lindsay to a guest room till she could be further interrogated.
---
Lindsay decided to take a shower to let go of her worry, changing into something the maid gave her. A plain white shirt, with very elongated black shorts that seemed to belong to a man.
"That's better" she told herself, while letting herself off to long needed nap she had been longing for..
