"Wait" Lindsay yelled before Elios could leave.
"Can you stay with me" Lindsay asked as she she gave him the puppy eyes "Please"
"Sigh.. you'll regret this in the morning" Elios replied "I rather not" he added as he walked back to the door
"Please" she begged again
"Sigh.. I'll stay till you go to sleep" he replied giving up, her puppy eyes were just too precious for him to say no to.
"Okay" she replied as she closed her eyes and headed off to her needed sleep and Elios drifted off in the chair he sat in.
"I had a good dream" Lindsay thought to herself as she opened her eyes and saw Elios in the chair next to her bed surprised
"What the hell happened last night and why on earth would I let a demon spawn enter my room" She thought to herself forgetting he had kicked her out of mansion just yesterday
"Good morning" Elios replied as he saw her leave the bed "You're welcome for letting you stay another night"
"Excuse me" she replied in surprise "For your information, I never wanted t-" she stopped as she immediately fell backwards, Elios catching her head
"You okay?" He replied as she had trouble to wake up and began losing consciousness.
"HEY! Can someone bring a doctor to the guest room in Aisle A6" He mindlinked the pack urgently as he took her up to her bed
"You got it Alpha" Aaron replied as he mindlinked his mate, Joelle, about the Alpha requesting help in the room her friend had stayed in
A few moments later..
"It seems to me like she was drugged" the doctor said as he used his stethoscope to listen to her heartbeat
"And?" Elios said, his eyes becoming a fierce red and his expressions more serious
"Give me a few seconds" the doctor replied terrified of what would happen to him if he didn't give an answer soon. The doctor then touched her forehead and his eyes glowing white.
"Just as I have suspected.. she has been given a midyol pill" the doctor replied gathering his things, trembling for his life.
Elios stood in silence watching the doctor stumble under his sight. "Explain" he demanded.
"It's-s a pill- that-t makes-s you" the doctor began stumbling taking a deep breath looking at the floor
Elios when mad was one of the most terrifying people anyone had met, which is why it made him wonder how Lindsay could look at him straight in his eyes without fear.
"Its a pill usually given to people that have trouble connecting to their minds, body and soul." the doctor added "It's usually given to new wolfs when they turn 12 and begin discovering their wolf side, it's almost strange it had such a hard effect on her, almost as if she's.." the doctor stopped
"She's what" Elios demanded
"Almost as if she's ... beginning the process of becoming a wolf.. at an older age.. this is unlike anything I've ever seen!" the doctor said in surprise
A while later when the doctor had left..
Elios began panting around the room in desperation for answers. "It must be one of her tricks to keep herself here, probably getting information to ruin not only my life but my businesses" he thought to himself "But she was kidnapped.. she couldn't have possibly made a plan to get herself kidnapped" he added contracting his thoughts
"Find out everything you can about a girl named Lindsay" he mindlicked his former Private Investigator, Quinton
"Does she have a last name?" Quinton replied
"No" he mindlicked back watching Lindsay's every movemeng
"Is she walking?" he thought to himself watching her body make the gestures
Meanwhile in Lindsay's clouded mind..
"Hello? Can anyone hear me?" Lindsay yelled, not understand why she was in a dark room with nothing but a small wolf toy on the floor.
"What's this" she said as she picked it up, before it disappeared from her hands, turning into smoke.
"If this is you trying to play a trick on me Elios, It won't work!" she replied in anger "when I get out of here.."
"It's not a game" a voice said suddenly
"Hey!" she replied in surprise "I've heard you before.. when I was speaking to Allison, its you isn't it? The voice that confirmed the man I was looking for"
"It is me, everything will be explained later but we don't have much time, I need you to trust me" the voice said
"I need you to think of a memory, any memory of anything that made you happy, the end will be the lesson"
Deciding to trust her instincts, Lindsay had listened to the voice, "what harm can it do?" she thought to herself
"In my 6th birthday... my mom gifted me the necklace I had always wanted, she told me no matter what happened it would always protect me" she said as she held onto the necklace her mom had gifted her in deep satisfaction
"Now think of a sad moment that impacted you deeply.. hurry" the voice said in desperation
"..Sigh, when those men came to my home and stole my heart.. my father.." Lindsay replied in "What else do you want from me?"
"One more.. think of something you want or desire" the voice said
"I've never thought about that.." Lindsay replied looking at the darkness around her "Fine I guess I want a dog"
"It's not deep enough" the voice yelled in desperation once again
"I guess I want to feel like I belong in a place.." she told the voice sincerely "moving so often running away from the "darkness" as my mom called it began taking alot of of me because I never truly saw any place as a home.." she added, her voice getting deeper
"Hello! Is something supposed to happen now?" she asked loudly when a thought appeared to her mind "the end will be the lesson"
"This doesn't make sense" she told herself as she connected the dots "Wait! I figured it out, my mind is connected by my saddest moment, my body is is connected by my mother's necklace and a home is what I desire"
"We will speak later" the voice said happily, as if Lindsay had done what she needed to.
"Finally you decided to grace us to your awakening" Elios said rolling his eyes, as he stood next to a small couch placed in Lindsays bedroom while she was asleep.
"Keep rolling your eyes" Lindsay said with an sly attitude "you might find a brain back there"
Elios smirked in surprise, no one had ever defied him to such content and this made him want to know more.
"What day is it?" she began to ask trying to escape what she knew was coming next. Questioning.
"Sit" Elios replied with an absolute tone to his voice, Lindsay knew she couldn't possibly get out of it so she did as told.
"Who are you?" he asked straightforwardly as Joelle entered through the door looking at what seemed to be an awkward stare from both parties
"Sorry did I interr-" Joelle said as Elios used mind to slam and lock the door, Joelle yelling in frustration.
"What was that" Lindsay asked looking at the door which was just slammed with no physical force
"This is not about me but you. Talk." He said staring at her eyes making sure whatever word came out of her mouth was truth
"I'm no one important" Lindsay resumed "Normal life, gone to school, excelled, kidnapped and now ended up here"
Elios didn't believe a single word that had came out of her mouth, she wasn't like any other person he had spoken tho, there had to be a story there, "there just has to be" he thought to himself remembering his PI had done a job for him and was at the door.
"Come in" Elios said as he physically unlocked the door watching Lindsay's every movement
"Here are the papers you asked me to get" Quinton said as he handed in the papers, noticing the dark tension in the room and moving away slowly
"Stay" He told Lindsay watching her move away slowly as Quinton once was. She was nervous not for his constant stare but at whatever papers he was holding, she knew that whatever she had been hiding would come to light.. and that was her greatest fear of all
"Is this what you call a normal life?" Elios asked looking at the papers in great surprise, "doesn't sound much normal to me.."
