I had decided I wanted to see a bit more of this world while times were still peaceful.
There were two more kingdoms I could visit. The beast kingdom and the elf kingdom. There was of course always some conflicts between the kingdoms but nothing ever really massive.
I didn't really need to tell anyone I was leaving. So i didn't.
I had bought a couple of vehicles as its customary to have a sweet ride in different worlds. Normally I would go for like a nice expensive rv but the roads would probably damage it a lot so we went with an armored military truck. A nice six wheeled behemoth that cost me a few hundred thousand gold. But it could go through most terrain.
I had decided to visit the elven kingdom first as they could have some cool plants I might want. Plus it's elves I mean in my world they were roaming around all willy nilly but here they had only a few hundred people.
There was a major problem with kidnapping elves for nobles which I might be able to solve.
I made my way out of the city and when I was far enough away I summoned out the Truck. Well it looked more like a van than a truck.
I hopped into the drivers seat and put in a nice cd to listen to while I drove towards the elf kingdom.
They lived in a massive forest like usual under the protection of some kind of giant tree of life?
Whatever man cliche elf things.
The girls were along for the ride as they had never been in a car before. Well except for Rin who stayed in the internal world.
It only took a few hours to make it to the edge of the elven forest. The Forest itself was massive. In the center a few miles away I could make out a massive tree towering over all the others.
Probably the tree of life or whatever it's called in this world. There's probably a hundred different names for it.
I stored away the truck and the girls went back into the internal world to watch TV or something. We didn't know how elves would react with a bunch of people just waltzing into the forest.
I had no problem with it though.
I just walked right on in.
I hadn't walked more than a hundred feet before I felt tons of eyes looking at me.
Before I could call out a bunch of elves appeared in the trees and on the ground.
"Welcome blessed one we have been expecting you." A tall male elf says walking towards me.
There was probably quite a bit of confusion written on my face because he then started explaining.
"Goddess Tia sent a vision to our prophet about your arrival and how your going to help us with our calamity." he explains.
"Yeah I do have a solution for that. I'm not a big fan of nobles or kidnappers and I've heard there's only a few hundred of you guys left?" I ask.
"There are 187 elves left in the forest." he says sadly.
"That's a lot less than i was expecting." I tell him with a raised eyebrow.
"The tree of life provides us with water of life, giving us long lifespans but in exchange our birthrates are much lower." he gives an actual reasonable explanation about elf longevity.
An equal trade or maybe some kind of population control to not run out of space and food I ponder.
Elves here were all fruit, veggies and nut eaters. Basically vegetarians.
"Our elders are waiting so if it's not too much trouble please follow along." He says before leading me deeper into the forest.
It's a beautiful forest with a crisp fresh smell of leaves and damp earth. Very relaxing.
The farther we walk in the more signs of elves I see they either live on the floor in huts or in tree houses.
I'm led to a larger hut which is apparently were the elders are going to meet me.
I walk inside and see a group of good looking people sitting and waiting for me, None of them look over 20.
"Greetings blessed one." one of the women says bowing towards me.
"Hullo." I reply.
There's a flash and Tia is out in front of me looking at the elves.
There's a scramble of bowing and praises. If only they knew she eats all the chips and lazes around all day I wonder that they would think.
"Hello children. This is Ryan he will be helping you move into a new place. In exchange for your protection you can help him care for his plants." she says looking every bit a powerful goddess figure.
"Yes mother." They all respond eagerly.
"Good now I have important business to attend to gather up the rest and your belongings along with all the seeds and herbs you can." She says before disappearing to go watch some more dramas.
"Lazy goddess." I mutter.
It doesn't really bother me though. She's just experiencing new things and besides I like to laze around and watch TV too.
The elves start to madly scramble around gathering up everything they can.
Honestly I'm not too fussed about moving them into my world these guys are peaceful and kind from everything I've heard if they were arrogant I'd probably just steal thier stuff and go visit the beast kingdom.
I walk outside to watch the frantic moving as everyone starts to pile all kinds of plants and seeds in pots in the center of the village. Next was clothes and some living animals like birds and some I didn't recognize. There were all sorts of fairies also floating around.
When I asked about them they said they help with the plants and keeping away bad insects and fertilizing things.
I was fine with animals as my internal world was massive and barren right now.
Some birds and insects would liven the place up plus I can see some beehives. Fresh honey is always nice for sauces.
"Cassie is there a way I can just move everything at once? This is just taking forever." I ask her with my mind.
There's a massive flash of light and everything is sucked into my internal world including most of the forest.
there's a bunch of notifications from Cassie in my mind about a tree of life making the environment more suitable for plant growth and making them grow faster and keeping them disease free.
There was some stuff about water of life aswell. I'll get to that later. For now I should probably direct the confused and shocked elves back to thier homes. Better yet.
There was a flash and Tia was in front of me with her mouth stuffed full of chips and looking like a complete slob.
"Explain to your people oh great goddess." I laugh at her confused look before heading to the house.
