With the addition of the forest to my internal world I had gained a full ecosystem. There were now birds, insects and other types of creatures roaming around. As much as I didn't want lots of bugs they were a part of the cycle of life and fed the birds.
We only had regular animals running around. Any monsters were left behind as I don't want to have to worry about them in my internal world.
They loved the place and we're amazed about how quickly plants grew. Do to the tree of life which seemed to be growing even larger. My plant growth time was cut in half. It took 15 days to grow a regular plant. 3 and a half days for bushes and such to refruit. And half a year for trees to grow.
The water of life was a new thing. It allowed one to stay in the peak of their life for extended periods of time. So if I drank it my aging would slow and I'd be able to live a few hundred years longer. The trade off would be having kids would be extremely difficult. I was willing to accept this trade off. Silvia was the only one of my current women who would have to drink the water as both Cassie and Sasha will live for as long as I do. I did however make my mother, father, and in laws drink it. It was a rather strange sight as they seemed to deage right before my very eyes.
I wouldn't drink it for a while just in case it stuck me at my 16 year old body. I still had room to grow and I had heard elven children grow extremely slowly.
The elves started helping me with crops, setting up new crops and herb farms, Teaching me at my request how to make elven fruit wine and bread. They also taught me proper beekeeping as I expressed my interest in fresh honey for my cooking.
Basically I had just gained a bunch of professional farmers, cooks and wine makers. They didn't mind that I ate meat as it was a circle of life thing for them they just preferred to be vegetarians.
All in all good people.
Once they were settled in I had decided to head off towards the beast kingdom.
The people of the beast kingdom lived in a big plains style area as they were all animal herders. They loved meat, booze, and fighting but they were all relatively friendly.
The kingdom was different than what I had expected. I was thinking a massive castle and stone walls and such. There was no such thing. It was massive tanned hide tents stretching as far as I could see.
Happy beast people were always walling around trading goods and bartering using meat and veggies. There were no gold coins or anything being used here, you used food to barter.
This was perfectly fine for me. I blended right in and started swapping away dungeon meat for things like fresh milk from different grass eaters they had. Also I traded for spices they had out in the plains. It was just like a giant food market. I could also swap things like pots and pans, sauces, fruits and veggies.
I was also made to drink some of the local alcohol which was strange as it was made out of fermented milk. It was only lightly alcoholic. They usually made me drink a cup or so after a good deal and it would be considered rude to turn it down as it was a gesture of friendship.
After a good day of bartering I was introduced to the beast king who was a massive lion man Probably a foot taller than me with flowing blonde hair and massive bulging muscles.
For the rest of the night we just ate tons of BBQ meat had some fighting competitions and everyone drank.
It was a good fun night.
I spent a few days there with the girls just enjoying the customs and food before leaving back to the other kingdom.
I bet you guys were probably expecting some kind of drama or for me to move them into my internal world. I can visit places and not have to do anything but visit. Mcs never just visit places for no reason. They are always on some kind of mission. I too was on a mission to eat good food.
So my short vacation of about 2 weeks was over and I was much more relaxed not having to worry about everything.
I had decided when I got back to the kingdom to start working on space magic. The ability to teleport is a life saving skill and I like to be prepared for all occasions.
However space magic is fucking hard to learn i also don't feel like having my body ripped apart by the void for fucking around with stuff like that. I tried to do the spatial bullet which is kind of like a jab with my finger to tear apart space all that happened was the skin on my finger was shredded leaving it a bloody mess.
So never try magic unless you know exactly what to do.
I had to use lots of healing magic to fix my finger and it was still sore from growing new skin.
On the plus side my cleric class leveled up. however there was no way in hell I was going to raise it like that again.
I bought books on space magic theory and other things like that to study. They weren't as costly as the actual magic books but they were still pretty expensive.
The basics of space magic were learning how to tear apart space. For attacks you can either cause a tear is space to have opponents sucked in ripping them apart or use a piece of space as a projectile punching a hole through everything. Complicated stuff.
I don't know how many times I injured myself trying to tear space apart. I would study then try to do it and if I failed I'd study the books again seeing if I missed anything. To imagine if you will a type of screen in front of you and what you want to do is tear apart that screen but when you go to apply pressure to the screen it turns into a kind of cheese grater tearing your hands apart. Nasty stuff.
This continued on for weeks with my cleric and mage class slowly growing. I tried all sorts of different ways to tear space but it never worked but I always felt that it should work. I learned how to compress space into like a super gravity area but I couldn't tear it.
That's when Cassie decided to inform me that the space in the internal world had almost perfect stability and I probably wouldn't be able to tear it.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?" I asked with a bitter smile.
"Well you looked so cute and focused, working so hard that I didn't want to disturb you." She says with a kind smile.
I just put my head down in my books with a sigh.
