Olympia transformed into a ray of red and blue entwined light as she entered the space between Brad's eyebrows and entered his consciousness stream. A halo soon formed around her as she spread her wings, standing there in full glory.
Her wings were now fully icy-blue with a tinge of green in them. Her claws were sharper than it was earlier. Her right eye had a brilliant reddish glow and it was the same for the left eye, but the only difference was that it was icy blue instead of red.
Her tail had spikes which grew sharper too. As she closed her eyes, she could manifest a crystal sword and a spear which glowed together brilliantly. She looked majestic in her current appearance.
She changed to her human form and noticed a few changes.
The right side of her was clothed in reddish clothes and the left side in bluish-white. A third eye formed in between her brows and it had crimson iris and an icy blue corona. As she closed her eyes and re-opened them, her whole appearance changed, including her outfit.
She looked like a queen she was. The princessy aura left her. It was replaced by a more mature aura. The third eye remained close.
Another halo surrounded her and it was filled with mist and smoke. Nothing could be seen inside. Olympia felt relief wash over her taut limbs. It was as if a lullaby was lulling her to sleep. She felt a familiar warmth and closed her eyes. She missed that warmth for a long time.
Drowsiness overtook her senses and she fell asleep.
Demetria and Aiden looked at their child with a pensive look in their eyes. She was their child. The rightful princess. Yet she has to face so many difficulties. Their heart ached for her.
"Now that she has retrieved her powers, should we inform her of the impending danger?" Aiden tilted his head towards the side, and asked his wife.
"Not yet." Demi answered.
"But why?" Aiden asked back.
"Brad needs to gain powers. He is too weak to go against them." Demi said calmly, worry etching her brows. The thought of them being able to reach her child was frightening to her.
Even if she combines her strength with Aiden, she wouldn't be able to defeat that monster. As the prophecy said, only Brad can do that. But he was too weak.
"Wait a minute. He is supposed to receive powers from here too. The Devil himself said that. Did he try to deceive us?"
"I don't think that the Devil will deceive us."
"Why not? You believe too much in that crooked old man."
"I can't tell you why, Demi. But believe me when I say, the Devil himself would never deceive us in this regard."
"I shall take your words this time, but remember, if anything happens to my child, I would never spare you."
"Nothing will happen to her. Let's go. We must help Brad."
"Do you think he will believe us after last time?"
"I have an idea here."
"What?"
Aiden whispered something in his wife's ears and said, "Let's go."
"And, what about Olympia?"
"She will be fine."
"How are you so sure? She is unconscious for God's sake."
"Demi, listen to me. Leave a bit of your aura here. Let her rest. She needs to rest and we need to help Brad." Aiden consoled his angry wife, gently caressing her long hair.
Demetria looked at her daughter, reluctant to leave her on her own. They were the only beings other than that mysterious person who could enter and exit Brad's consciousness stream without any repercussions and without Brad's knowledge.
As they left Brad's consciousness stream, a brilliant light flashed in front of Brad's eyes and a beautiful female and a stunning man stood in front of him with a crooked smile on their face.
A shiver ran down his spine as Demetria came forward. Her aura was very sharp and the flaming red clothes billowed in the wind. A storm raged and a sudden heat arose inside the room.
Brad looked down to find himself in a sea of fire. The cackling fire was burning so brilliantly that Brad could only think of how to save himself from burning. He jumped and tried to run, but an invisible barrier stopped him. He panicked as he looked at the couple in front of him.
They were smirking at him. A sudden rage erupted within his mind and he screamed, "What are you two smirking for? Help me."
"What do we get by helping you?"
"Why would you just stand there and not help me? And, where is Boyd? Why can't it be Boyd instead of you guys."
"Hahahaha. Now that we are here. You can do nothing. You better gear up to face that." Aiden said, pointing to the ice shards below. The raging fire did nothing to the ice shards. It was too hot, yet too cold. The aura and forbearance was far more dangerous than Olympia.
He had no energy to waste on them as he was busy escaping from the fire and ice inside the barrier, which had no end. He couldn't understand anything. How could there be such a vast space in such a small room?
The fire raged, and cool winds blew, but instead of complementing each other, it increased the ferocity and made him uncomfortable.
Suddenly a thought crossed his mind. After standing for such a long time inside the barrier, and feeling the extreme effects of the fire and ice, neither did the fire burn anything nor did the ice cut him.
An evil smile spread across his face, and then, he screamed on top of his lungs, pretending to be hurt. He bent over, clutching his stomach, his face scrunched up.
Aiden and Demetria saw that Brad had fallen down and was clutching his stomach in pain. So, they stared at him for a while and smiled evilly. If he wanted a game, they could play on.
Both of them looked at each other and then, understanding flashed in their eyes and they increased the force of their attacks. This time, it wasn't just limited to the mirage effects.
