Two weeks passed by swiftly. Luna was practicing both time magic and her own magic substance regularly. Although despite her huge amount of magic, her magic element wasn't awakened yet.
Akiro said that the way to awaken it was largely based on the person after he/she was taught the basics of magic.
On the other hand, Luna felt glad because she wants to have a light-based magic element or something related to that. It was fine if it only becomes sub-magic to her main one. She grinned after thinking about the things she wants to do after obtaining that kind of element.
These past weeks, Akiro said that they didn't have any relevant wishes to do. It allowed her to practice and research more about magic. The intensity of her training also increased as per Akiro's orders.
Today, she's in the garden with Ryle, Erik, and Irene. The magic combination of those two is amazing. Moreover, Irene's magic was related to ice. Nobody knew how deeply excited Luna was when she saw it.
Making Ice cream as a dessert wasn't difficult now. Her notes about it would finally be helpful. Also, she decided to make it a business. It was because she wanted to earn her own money someday and stop depending on Akiro.
There would come a day when her temporary time powers would be transferred to him completely. But some of her plans changed and that included her permanent stay in Vermillion. Luna whose mind was flying elsewhere was suddenly interrupted after Ryle called out for her.
"Luna?" he said.
Luna suddenly faced him. "Why?" she asked.
"Do you want a specific food to eat that isn't here?" Ryle asked.
Then Luna saw the tray in the servant's hands. They placed it on the table one by one. There were newly-baked cookies, pound cake, and drinks.
She shook her head. "There's none."
Erik and Irene stopped training after they were called.
The winter in South Village was over since last week, so the three of them began their training earnestly in the garden and eat and just rest together afterward.
"I'm hungry," Erik uttered.
"Lady Luna, what do you wish your magic element to be?" Irene asked.
"Uhm, maybe water so I could have an ice element like yours but I'm not sure," Luna said.
She didn't talk about the lightning element since they might find her crazy.
"It will be nice especially in the summer! How nice it is to have a cold element during the hottest season," Erik commented.
'But you can have it without magic,' Luna thought.
She remembered the appliances suited for summer though it wouldn't be applicable here. There isn't even a single socket to plug it in.
"Don't worry, I'll still let you taste the dessert I'm talking about when I'm not busy," Luna said.
Luna could see the twinkling eyes of the two kids while their silver hair shone even more because of the sun.
"Oh, you don't know how delicious it is. I don't regret eating it even though it's still winter that time," Ryle boasted.
He didn't stop and thoroughly explained its appearance and its out of this world taste which made the two kids have watery mouths.
After a while, Ryle asked to practice one last time for this day. There's still more time before evening but the two kids have academics assignments to finish. And the two kids' tutor was still on his way to Magus Nation. Akiro said that the magic tutor was a close associate of his from another country and Ryle would be the temporary tutor since he was idle anyway and Akiro found a way to make him busy to the bones.
The two kids stood quickly to the training field of the garden which was not far away from their table.
Erik and Irene both chanted and a solid defense circled them. The crystal clear water's distance was larger than before and ten humans could fit inside their defense. While Irene's snow-like ice served as the support of their defense.
When Ryle swiftly threw the rocks with several enchantments that he secretly placed, the snow-like magic instantly shaped as sharp blades, and the water that covered it was transferred to the upcoming rocks.
It suddenly turned into ice and the blades immediately sliced the rocks into tiny pieces.
"Your control of magic cancelation is improving Erik and so is Irene's control of snow blades," Luna uttered.
According to magic books, a constitution was a term where a person with magic was born with unique talents and all they needed was to improve it further. The constitution varies so it could be battle magic or non-battle magic. They were uncommon but not rare.
The two of them had a twin water-based constitution and the magic talent was battle magic. The twin constitution was a rare one and held great magic that could be a blessing or a curse. It also could affect their appearances like hair color and eyes. The magic was so great that it affects the infants' hair or eyes but it also served as a sign of who their partner is.
There's not a sign of a person with a twin constitution in Magus Nation for 500 years so Akiro took a while to know more about them but about their dreams, nothing was still known.
"My magic cancelation only works when the water is in defense position but with Irene's snow-like powers that can hold my magic's effects, I'm confident that we could last in a fight with the same level as us," Erik said.
"That's the spirit! You have to be confident! Magic powers would be useless no matter how great it is when you aren't confident in what you do and also you have to be calm-minded" Ryle said.
Luna smiled awkwardly. She couldn't count anymore how many times Ryle uttered the same words today. Giving advice was good but he should have prepared more than one.
The two kids even joined him in his preach whenever he said that.
'They already memorized it!' Luna thought.
Nonetheless, Ryle taught them a good strategy. It wasn't useless nor overwhelming. Despite being a chatterbox, he could measure their abilities accurately and teach a strategy according to their levels.
Luna suddenly wanted to know what magic tier was Ryle's magic ability.
Then Luna placed a cookie on her mouth while watching Ryle talked circles about his repetitive advice to the two kids. When she looked to her left which was the direction where the garden's entrance was, she saw Miss Zione walking towards her way.
"Hello, Miss Zione," Ryle greeted.
Miss Zione bowed a little to the three persons as recognition and when she reached Luna, she immediately talked with her.
"Sir Akiro called for you in the study room as soon as possible," Miss Zione said.
"I'll go then," Luna said.
She stood up from her seat and fixed her dress a bit.
"I'll bring you to him," Miss Zione said.
Even Miss Zione was bewildered because Akiro didn't want to be disturbed with his paper works every last day of the week and today was the last day. No one can enter even her. To be sure, she will accompany Luna since she had a hunch that he was doing something secret other than paper works during this time of the last day.
There's a hint of anxiousness in Miss Zione's usual blank emotion that caught even the three people at the back.
When they started to walk towards Akiro's study room, Luna mentally rolled her eyes. It was because she could see the three heads poking on every hallway they turn to.
They finally reached his study room. Miss Zione knocked and they heard a voice. She opened the door for Luna and left her after she entered.
'You left?!' Luna thought.
She could feel the cold atmosphere inside the room even though winter was finally over.
His eyebrows nearly formed a straight line, his left hand was on his forehead and the other was tightly holding a letter.
This was a sight to see for Luna. She suddenly remembered the day she was the most irritated which happened in a certain mall.
Although Luna was sure that she did not do anything to incur his ire.
"What happened?" Luna asked.
"A letter was sent. They're starting to question your identity. We have to plan everything and make you a citizen of Magus Nation. Whoever sent this forgot my words that day. This isn't supposed to happen this early and of all days to disturb me," Akiro said.
Luna could see that it was about her citizenship here but it seemed more than that. Whoever made him this irritated would surely be praying for his life.
Akiro was deeply irritated but when he saw Luna who kept quiet this whole time, he tried to calm down. He didn't want to scare her and instead vent out his anger to these people later.
"I think I'll talk to you tomorrow and be cautious of your surroundings when you go out," Akiro said.
His voice was still cold but it's the usual tone he uses every day.
"Okay, and I think I'll limit myself indoors for the meantime," she said.
Luna completely forgot that she didn't have real relatives in this world and no one knew her. If the higher-ups investigated her, she would end up as a suspicious person. It was possible to be investigated since she was closely related to Akiro and a certain noble lady visited this mansion previously.
"You can go now," Akiro said.
Luna went out without saying a word. It looked like he was really busy. But her head seemed to ache a little after hearing this news.
'There will surely be many arising problems in the future,' Luna thought.
