Moncee was sitting in the student council room checking the school newspaper website. He saw the picture of Heron Berthy on the front page. It seemed the picture of Berthy was shot right when a chicken had landed on his head. But Berthy's face looked rather calm, like the face of a buddha who had accepted the trials that life had brought him. Moncee smiled. But when he read the headline he wrinkled his brows. It read something like this,
-----'GHOST CLUB TAKES CARE OF THE FARMER'S CLUB CHICKENS', Setting a fine example of interclub cooperation, the Ghost club babysat the Farmers club's chickens. Farmer's club leader Welix Dana thanked the Ghost club for helping them take care of their chickens while their members were away on their field trip....-------------------
Moncee looked at the author of the article- It read 'JK'...
Jan Keiro eh? That brat sure has some skills, thought Moncee.
Just then his phone rang and when he looked at the number he clenched his jaw. He deliberated whether he should pick the call. In the end, he decided to answer it.
Moncee: "What is it?" He asked in a tone that did not hide his hatred for the caller.
From the other end a man spoke distinctly, "Red Admiral, this is Duke of Burgundy"
Moncee: "Bloody bastard! I told you not to contact me..."
"But it's really urgent, they have taken away Dingy skipper, we're going for an all-out fight and if you're not with us then-"
Moncee: "Shut your trap you son of a...how many times have I told you... I do not belong to your gang anymore."
"But you still got the tattoo don't ya? We belong together Red Admiral!"
Moncee clenched his jaw again. He thought he had left those shitty days behind him. But they came to haunt him again and again.
The 'Mariposa' as they were called were an underground organization mainly consisting of young and notorious gangsters. Moncee had been with them for two years. The members of the Mariposa, as their name suggested were recognized by the Butterfly tattoo on their backs. When they first join the gang, each new member was given a unique butterfly mark tattoo, which would also become his code name. Moncee was thus called 'Red admiral' and he got the tattoo of the said butterfly on his back. For two years he served as their member but soon got tired of the endless fights and bloodshed. He left the gang for good but the tattoo remained.
The Mariposa gang had several rivals. One of these rival gangs had forcefully taken away a member of Mariposa code-named 'Dingy skipper'.
The one who now called Moncee was codenamed 'Duke of Burgundy' and was a senior member in their gang...He seemed to be calling for his help to fight the rival gang. Moncee remembered that only a couple of months back he had fought the members of this rival gang just outside their school , the later thinking that he was still a member of Mariposa. And it was during that fight that Keiro had discovered his secret.
Moncee:"I am not in your gang anymore and I don't care"
"But Red admiral, Dingy skipper is in real danger, if you don't show up we'll all die fighting those bastards!"
Moncee: "I don't want this shit anymore." he said firmly into the phone and cut the call.
He sat back in his chair.Just when things were going peacefully they had to call him to drag him back into their bullshit...Was it really impossible to erase one's past?

year 1 class c
Keiro had sighed with relief after reading the school newspaper.Yesterday after the mishap in the clubroom, she had quickly called up the Farmer's club leader and asked her for a favor. She explained everything carefully, leaving out those parts regarding where the chickens had come from. The farmer's club should not deny the facts stated in the newspaper and in return, the ghost club would gift the farmer's club, fifty-something fresh and healthy chickens. The leader of the Farmer's club was a chubby second-year student named Welix Dana who was known to be a happy go lucky person. She accepted the deal without asking too many questions and Keiro was grateful.
And just when Keiro had thought she had solved one problem she saw Han Marsha looking at her and smiling. If Han Marsha was smiling, it meant she had a sure deal coming her way. They were still in physics class and Mr.Furoy was writing something on the board.
Keiro leaned towards Han Marsha and they began to talk in whispers.
Keiro: "Looks like you have got something big...."
Marsha: "Buy me the half-moon cake later..."
Keiro: "Why half? I'll buy you a full moon cake, so out with it!"
Marsha: "I heard the detective club got their hands on two boxes full of banned magazines and such."
Keiro rolled her eyes.
Marsha: "They are now busy tracing fingerprints on those--"
Keiro: "Please kill me! " Keiro placed her hands on her head and exclaimed out loud and the whole class turned toward her.
Furoy also turned and raised an eyebrow.
Mr.Furoy: "Does this physics problem bother you that much Keiro?"
The whole class laughed.
Keiro: "No sir, not at all..."
Furoy: "Then why don't you come here and solve it?"
Keiro reluctantly got up and went over to the board. She solved it halfway and then blinked helplessly. Fury sighed and let her go.
Keiro sat back in her seat and wondered how the banned stuff made its way into the detective club. No one in their right mind would go anywhere near the trash bin behind their school and fish out those boxes...Unless they knew what was inside of it..Unless they knew where it had come from...Keiro could only come into one conclusion as to who had done it...
"The son of a gun..."
Keiro had said this out a little loud or maybe the class had been rather quiet because at that moment everyone had heard her and gasped.Fury's hand had stopped moving on the board.
Furoy: "Jan Keiroooooo! " Fury unleashed his fury and Keiro was made to stand at the back of the class and reflect on her 'outrageous' behavior...
