"Erythro, what is that thing!?"
"It is a Wendigo. It is the result of one sentient creature consuming a member of its own species in the territory of the Wendigo's Spirit. Once cannibalism is committed, the perpetrator's body is used as a host." Erythro was in the middle of explaining.
The Wendigo got down on all four and rushed at me. The force of its jump flung up a wave a dirt where it previously stood. I used Crimson Web to fling Sarah out of the way and leaped to the right, but I felt something clip me in my side.
I looked down to find a chunk missing out of my abdomen and serratus anterior. The wound quickly began pulling itself back together.

"Heal has Upgraded to Lv.3"
"Any ideas on how to beat it!?"
I said while dodging and recieving an onslaught of attacks.
"You must destory it's heart. Try subduing it and going for the kill."
I parried multiple attacks with claws of my own, but the Wendigo's were far sharper, chipping away at mine with each strike.
I leaped over the beast and shot multiple webs all over it's body. It worked for a brief moment, but it soon broke free.

The Wendigo was even angrier now. It unleashed another distorted roar. I wondered if I could even kill it. Not only is it strong, but some part of it vaguely feels human.
"You have no choice, it will pursue us relentelessly until we are devoured. Then, it will kill others, including that girl over there." Erythro said.
I glanced over at Sarah, she had manage to get back up on her feet and was now standing behind a tree, watching from a distance.
Is she staying because of me?
Damnit! There's no way else out of this then.
"The human's soul still lives on inside the Wendigo, tormented by shame, endless hunger, regret, and agony. You are not any less of a person for killing it, rather, it would be an act of mercy," Erythro sympathetically confessed.
I internally sighed. Erythro's right, this is something I have to do.
The Wendigo charged again, but I slipped between it's legs pulling it's feet from out under it using Crimson Web.
Crimson Web has Upgraded to Lv.4.
"Erythro, equip my first suit please," I said solemly.
"Understood," Erythro replied.
In that instant, my clothes shifted and began changing.
I was now sporting a black hoodie with red highlights going around the cuffs and collar, a black t-shirt with an bright red "X" across it, black pants, and black shoes with red shoelaces accompanied by a red sole for each shoe.
I have to say, it made me feel a lot more confident. It feels good to wear.
"So cool," I heard Sarah mutter.
I need to focus, otherwise I can't do this properly.
I bent my knees for a brief moment before springing toward a tree, then to another, and another, then back to the ground. This process repeated as I circled the Wendigo.
"It's the same movement from back when we fought Lucian only this time, something's changed," Erythro said.
"Meditation Initiated."
On each tree, I tied some Crimson Web to it, varying in thickness from tree to tree.
The Wendigo roared as it began to chase after me, mimicking my movements, but it didn't matter as I was almost done.
"A Cat's Cradle..." Erythro figured out my intentions.
I got the idea from Sarah in a sense.
I then flung myself into the air using some web. I looked down to find that the Wendigo had jumped up too in the pursuit of me.
Perfect. Let's do this properly this time. I webbed the Wendigo by both of it's shoulders and slingshot my self at it.
"Your finished!" I yelled.

I delivered a powerful drop kick straight to it's chest as we came down toward the center of the clearing. A.K.A. the center of my Cat's Cradle, Singapore Flyer edition.
What? It was a hobby of mine back in middle school.
The Wendigo screached, trying to bite at me in the process.
As we connected with the center of the cradle, I jumped up, using the Wendigo's chest as a trampoline.
Every web enclosed on the beast, perfectly ensnaring it as it fell to the floor.
"Don't worry, it will be over soon," I said as I approached it, turning my arm into a lance.
The Wendigo struggled, but stopped after a while, realizing it was pointless.
It looked up at me with those blackened holes for eyes.
"Please don't kill me," It said in the distorted voice of a little girl.
So, it still has some semblance of human intelligence, needless to say, I was enraged. I didn't say a word.
"I just wanted to make a little cash,"
"Aye, sorry man, I didn't mean to take your kill,"
"N-no, I don't taste very good,"
"Please don't eat me!"
"It's cycling through it's memory for various pleads of mercy," Erythro stated.
"Yeah, I know," I said as I drove the lance straight through the Wendigo's heart.
It screeched again, and writhed around for a while before going limp. It began glowing before something shot out of it and into the sky. I looked at it in confusion.
"I'm sorry sis. I didn't want to, but you...were already dead. I didn't want to, I'm so sorry," I heard a disembodied voice say while crying.
"Combat Mode Disengaged."
The Wendigo's body dispersed into white and blue mist, mana, which flowed into my body.
I felt like my body was almost vibrating with power.
"You have leveled up."
"HP and MP restored."
"You have leveled up."
"You have leveled up."
"You have leveled up."
"You have leveled up."
Etc.
