I sat down at the bench nearby and then thought to myself.
I want to grow stronger, I can't go on as I am now. Who am I to teach someone about power, when I myself lack it?
I felt all my anxiety and uncertainty go away as a cooling sensation washed over my body.
(Meditation Initiated)
I closed my eyes and allowed my thoughts to guide me. I felt a gentle force pulling from outside myself and within my body.
I opened my eyes once more. Within 1/2 a meter all around me, I could see a bright red aura. Although, the red aura would flicker blue at regular intervals. It pulsated as tiny neon particles phased in and out of me.
"Is this Mana-Sense?" I asked Erythro seeking and answer
"Yes, now that you've focused, you can see mana." Erythro confirmed.
"Mana-Sense Upgraded to Lv.3"
"Meditation Upgraded to Lv.2"
"Your Mana and Spirit have increased."
"System Update. Please do not turn off device."
As I saw the notification, I checked my status once more.

Meditation (Lv.2)-Focus youself with a calm mind and guided breathing.
I have an HP stat now. Mana-Sense now works in a 5 meter radius too. This could be extremely useful.
"Thanks Erythro."
"You are welcome," Erythro responded.
I sighed and deactivated meditation. It's been about an hour since Juro went home.
I looked up at the sky and thought about home. I wonder how my family's doing. I want to see them again, until then I'm trapped here. I guess it's not all that bad though.
My thoughts were interupted as someone approached me.
"Train me too," A girl's voice spoke.
"I saw your entire fight, I want to get stronger too."
I looked down to find a girl who looked about 16 standing in front of me. She wore rags and was covered in bruises similar to Juro. She had dirty pink hair hanging down to her waist accompanied by light pink eyes.
"And you are?" I inquired.
"Emilia, Hero Milo," She said with her hands at her sides.
Hero? So she heard that too huh?
"Listen, I'm not sure-" I tried protesting before she spoke up again.
"Please, I'm begging you! I'll do anything." She said bowing deeply with tearfelt eyes.
"She seems rather sincere," Erythro acknowledged.
"Very well, if you get permission from you par-" I tried saying before she spoke over me again.
"I don't gave any, not even a guardian," She said still bowing deeply.
Eh, no parents or guardians? How did this kid survive in this place?
"My mother passed away when she gave birth to me, and my father was killed by the border guards 2 years ago," She confessed.
"From my observation, this girl is a prositute," Erythro informed me.
So that's how it is? I thought for a moment.
"Very well Emilia, lift your head up and wipe those tears. Your training begins now. Just remember that you came to me." I professed throwing myself onto my feet.
She lifted her head up looking dumbfounded. She wiped her tears as I instructed and waited in anticipation.
Appraisal.

Attribute Points: 10
Passive Skill:
Stealth (Lv.6)-The ability to conceal one's presence.
Woah! These stats are pretty amazing. She's missing some of her health though. Intelligence is on par with my own.
Her strength is a bit lacking, but her agility isn't bad. Her endurance is actually higher then mine. Sense is a bit lacking. Her spirit is higher than mine too. Her mana is leagues above my own.
She's part fairy too, that might explain the high mana count.
"She's quite talented," Erythro added.
"Hmm...Let's start with your strength."
"Uh-okay!"
"I want you to hit me in the stomach as hard as you can. Keep going until you no longer can."
"A-are you sure? Won't that hurt?" She said concernedly.
"Don't worry about me, just go for it."
"If you say so."
Emilia charged at me and punched me in the stomach rather weakly. I didn't even budge.
"Why did you hold back? Go again," I commanded.
She threw another punch, this one stronger than the last.
"Good, keep it up," I instructed.
"Yes, master!"
(2 hour Later)
"Let's call it a day," I stated.
Emilia stood in front of me practically on the verge of the collapse, however her eyes showed she had no intentions of quiting.
"Well pick up tommorow," I followed up.
"...but...I...can keep going," Emilia puffed out.
A notification appeared in front of me.
"Your Endurance has increased to 19."
Well, that's good.
Appraisal.
"Appraisal has Upgraded to Lv.3"
"Appraisal now works within a 3 meter radius.

"She's a fast learner."
"Indeed, her development is astonishing. We should train ourself sometime too," Erythro added.
I pulled a piece of chicken out of my bag hovering it above Emilia's face.
"What is this?"
"It's chicken, a type of food."
"Thank you master!"
She had the same reaction as Juro. One bite led to her devouring it.
(About 3 hours Later)
Emilia was asleep on the bench right beside me. I looked down at her.
Those clothes...they remind me of when I was a kid.
My parents put all of their efforts into paying for my little brother's medical treatment. Because of that, we went around wearing the same worn out clothes everyday.
Pft. That "treatment" was more of life support than anything else. I bet the total expenses would have been enough to find an actual cure in the end.
I wonder if there's anything I can do for these kids.
I looked ahead and spotted a pile of junk. An idea suddenly hit me.
"System Update. Please do not turn off your device."
"You now have an MP Bar"
MP? I pulled up my stats to take a look.
"It is our current limit for magic usage," Erythro explained.
MP: 1000/1000.
I see. Back to my idea. I approached the pile of junk. Broken furniture, ripped up clothes, rubber, various pieces of scrap metal, etc. Hmm...
"Erythro, think you can make some new clothes out of these torn up ones?"
"It is possible, however what should they look like?" Erythro asked.
"Pull up my wishlist for sec." I said.
I scrolled through it for a while. I don't want these kids to wear anything too flashy, it might cause trouble for them. Luckily, I was an avid online shopper, so a lot of items were in my inventory.
After a while I settled on a wool knitted pink shirt, brown cargo shorts and pink tennis shoes for Emilia. For Juro, I selected a wool knitted grey t-shirt, black cargo shorts, and black tennis. I chose new underwear and socks for them respectively.
"Fashion-Sense has increased to Lv.3."
First we need to clean this stuff.
"New Skill Obtained: Clean"
"Clean (Lv.1)-make something/ someone free of dirt, marks, or mess, especially by washing, wiping, brushing, or using mana."
Perfect. I stuck my hand out toward the organized piles of junk.
Clean. A dim white light eminated from my hand before fading. Everything seemed cleaner, but still fairly dirty.
MP: 950/1000
Again. One more time. Finally, everything was spotless.
MP: 850/1000
"Clean has Upgraded to Lv.2"
"New Skill Obtained: Mana-Recovery"
"Mana-Recovery (Lv.1)-Increases the natural speed at which mana recovers."
My mana began recovering by 1 every second.
"Alright, let's do this. Think you can adjust the clothing size to fit Emilia and Juro?" I said enthusiastically.
"Hmph, easy," Erythro responded.
The red fluid flowed out of my arms covering the clothes and rubber retreated back into my arms soon after.
MP: 641/1000
All of the clothes were now ready. I carried the new sets over to the bench where Emilia peacefully slept, then returned to the junk piles.
Let's see. Multiple ideas hit me as once this time. Let's see about this scrap metal first.
I used transmutation again.
"Transmutation has Upgraded to Lv.4."
I managed to get 340 copper, and 24 silver. The rest of the metal was too different in composition from copper and silver to make any more coin.
I put the coin in my pocket, then turned to see what I could do with the rest of the metal. I scrolled down the list. A-HA! I turned and looked at the rubber too, perfect.
Current Balance: Current Balance: 400C, 24S, 0G, 0P.
(1 hour Later)
The soccer ball I kicked around was nice. My soccer goals came out good too. I used some of the spare torn up clothes to make bandages and stored them in my bottomless pockets.
The furniture was repaired and I made a mini hamock using to metal poles and clothing material.
My transmutation was now at Lv.6.
I placed a roof over it just in case it rained. I did the same for the bench Emilia was sleeping on. It looked kind of like a bus-stop now.
She's still dirty. I walked over and placed my hand over her.
Clean. The light shown for a moment then faded.
One more time. She was almost spotless now.
MP: 202/1000
Tch. There's still bruising all over her body. How did she get like this?
"New Skill Obtained: Healing"
"Healing (Lv.1)-Restores health and mends the wounds of targets via magic."
"Hey, Erythro, how are we learning all of these skills?"
"There were multiple documents within your phone detailing various processes. One such document was about the medical field. Sanitation, medication, surgery, etc." Erythro promptly said.
"Alright then," I stuck my hand out over Emilia.
Heal. All of her bruises began to disappear over the course of about 2 minutes.
MP: 12/1000
I pulled up a pillow and blanket I had crafted earlier, tucking the pillow under her head, and placing the blanket over her.
I checked the time. 9:01PM. Guess I'll head to bed.
I went to sleep in the hamock, feeling accomplished.
