Alisha stayed asleep for a long time, her body needed the rest now, and it would need rest in the future too. But God knew that Alisha couldn't sleep, it was torturous, she hadn't had a good dream since her son had died. She simply kept seeing Diana's bloody face, hearing her sister's screams, she remembered seeing his limp body, bloodied in a cot, his face frozen in a cry. She couldn't save her baby boy, she couldn't protect him from his father's misdeeds.
Then, she had dreams about being stuck in a space, she could breath, and she was always alive, but she was also always alone. She had no one to reach out to, no one to lean on, no one to love her. Now, she had both of those dreams mixed with Bryan shooting her, her last cries choking out but too late.
That night, no matter what happened she couldn't escape her dream, she was stuck in a dream. Well, calling it a dream would be a stretch. She was stuck inside a box, it was made out of what seemed to be cardboard, but she couldn't break it. Alisha leaned over and touched it, not a prod, without a flicker of force, yet it broke through the cardboard. She made her way out, but it was too bright to see anything. "Hello?" She called, but there was silence. She felt comfortable in the silence, as if the silence was a warming cup of hot chocolate.
"Alisha!" Eliza called out, no, Annabelle? No... Richard? Was it too high for Richard's voice? Fred could go that high, was it him? Or maybe it was a baritone voice, her father? No. She realised it was Diana, the voice of the woman she hated the most. Suddenly, she felt herself plunge into a sector of time, she knew that it wasn't her memory because it from another pair of eyes.
Suddenly, she had thoughts, terrible thought and terrible memories. She was Diana.
The nightmare began with her shivering in a room, her father was rich but he didn't seem to care about his daughter. She had turned thirteen that night, but she had been forced to spend it alone, as she spent most of her other days. Even though she kept asking, her father never gave her a heater, her sheets were always dusty and she always had to raise herself.
Suddenly, she heard a noise in the hall of the house, she got up, excited, she knew who it was because only one person ever visited her. It was her older brother! "Ceddy! Ceddy it's my birthday!" She shouted as she rushed down the stairs, she almost slipped but she regained her balance quickly. She was right in thinking it was Cedrik, but Cedrik wasn't alone. There was a man besides him, he looked a lot like her brother, but he was taller, and he had a terrible stink of smoke. "Daddy?" She asked. Of course, she knew who it was, but she was shell-shocked. She hadn't seen her father in a long time, he had never even wished her a good birthday, he left the second he found out she was a girl.
"You have grown up a lot." He stated. She simply stared at him, she wasn't scared of a stranger, she didn't particularly enjoy the idea of having to talk to him. "She'll be married once she's sixteen, we'll have some photos taken of her now and I'll send them to the Richards, Martinez and Derricks families." Her eyes widened and then her eyebrows furrowed, she felt a bubble of anger well in her heart, and then she felt it fire through herself.
"No!" She stated, her eyes cold as she stared at the two men in front of her. "You have no right to tell me who I get married to, or when I get married to them. It's my life." She didn't stop when she noticed her brother beginning to sweat. "Leave me alone like you have my whole life." She finished and turned around, suddenly she heard a slap. Her brother had been flung across the floor by her father's violence, she screamed and ran to her brother.
"Is this how you've raised your sister? I knew I should have left it to Harry you failure! Both of you truly are the stains on my reputation. Useless bast***s!" He spat on her and left.
"Ceddy, I'm so sorry! I didn't think he'd hurt you!" She cried, she didn't notice the fire in her brother's eyes, she didn't realise it was directed towards her.
Suddenly she felt him stand up, she looked up, her teary face and large eyes stared at him, his gently smile had turned sinister but she didn't notice. Alisha noticed what she was wearing, a night-dress that was basically just an oversized shirt. She noticed how developed Diana was for her age. She noticed that Cedrik's gaze had averted from her face to an area lower.

Suddenly his hand grabbed her by her hair, she screamed as she felt pain jolt through her skull. She dragged her up the stairs, her knees banging against each step, becoming redder with pain, by the time they were at the top she couldn't move her legs. "Ceddy, please stop." She sobbed, grabbing onto his leg, begging him to let her be. She finally noticed the malice in his eyes, was there so much hate for her? He grabbed her by her hands and flung her tiny body into a wall, her screams of pain echoed through the desolate house, his laughter shadowing it.
"Ceddy, what are you doing?" She asked as she crawled to him, her arms pulling her towards him. She held hope that her older brother would stop, would become her loving brother again. But his laughter destroyed her hopes. He grabbed her by the chin, pinching it until she cringed with immense pain, her tears only fuelled his pent up anger.
"Why couldn't you just accept your fate? Why did you bring me down with you... I raised you so that you could be sold to a man one day? Why couldn't you SHUT UP?" He started with a hiss, but ending shouting in her face, his spit sprayed on her eyes, making her cringe. "LOOK AT ME B**CH!" He screamed at her, making her sob even more. He cackled and dragged her to her room, he through her on the dusty sheets, making her cough uncontrollably.
Suddenly, an hand began touching her breast from under her night-dress, she screamed and tried to push it away but her strength was too little. She felt him touch her private area, but she couldn't move her legs, they were broken at that point. "NO! Stop it! I said no! Ceddy I can't fight you, STOP!" She screamed, sobbed, yelled, begged, she couldn't stop him. Pain, she felt it spread through her down area, incredible pain as he thumped against her. Each push causing pain to strike through her, the smell of blood emanated slightly, she cried but she couldn't stop him. Her small fists pushed him as much as she could but it was pointless. She lost consciousness very quickly after.
*** It's over now.***
She woke up in a hospital. Her mother crying by her side, a police officer and social worker staring at her piteously. She couldn't speak.
