Previously on swarming the gods
Blivet, at this moment, was still sporting a battle-hungry as he needed one more push to break that shackle that prevented him from reaching the next level of strength.
Just a little more
However, a cold voice washed away the joy of battle.
"Kakaka, to think I'd be able to find myself a beast with a rare bloodline!"
It was a man floating in the sky using some kind of sword.
However, that wasn't the only problem; there were hundreds more of them, and the leader had an insignia strapped to his belt, showing a four-letter word.
It was LING.
------
At this moment, Blivet was extremely anxious, not because of their numbers, not because of the amount of strength they emitted, but due to a chance that some of these humans may have found the location of his queen...
Unacceptable!
He will not accept this!
The Large bear at this moment, on the other hand, with bloodied arms as well as blood slowly trickling down its hind legs and clenching its rear end from the pain and for another reason.
It only had some strange thoughts going through its head.
"uh, is this the moment where the humans suppose to mount me or something? the hungry look of the leader isn't very pleasant either."
At this moment, the man with the cold voice licked his lips in delight, trailing his eyes across the blood as the blood essence of the bear can help boost the cultivation of those that drink it; however, this action caused the bear to shudder, not in fear for its life but for its ass.
It was like a group of people came out of nowhere and then suddenly started groping and licking you, and you can't even resist.
It was disturbing as hell!
Thus, the bear immediately said to itself.
"fuck this shit; I'm out!!"
The bear attempted to try and escape, but a surge of profound energy burst out to the whole area, preventing it from moving.
Blivet was more focused on trying to keep them here, even if they pressured him with their petty tricks!
He had little care for his own life.
So he wanted to roar, but the building pressure prevented him from doing so.
Since Blivet looked somewhat human, the leader said a few words full of malice.
"I am Ling Wu of the heavenly sword villa; I am here to 'help' you since you look like you are on your last leg, quite literally, in this case, hehe."
The man floating above him was an early-stage true profound realm practitioner. Since Blivet looked like he was about to die, the bastard wanted to kill him for the possible wealth he held so that no one would stain the honor of the heavenly sword villa later.
Ling Wu is a vicious and greedy man.
He sought power, resources, anything he could use, and it didn't matter what methods he used.
As he had an interesting belief destroy all loose ends.
He believes himself to be a king, a ruler, every non-cultivator were naturally ants and slaves to do his bidding.
Even those who were with him weren't actually cultivators but oath-bound slaves who were forcefully strengthened. It may have cost him a bit, but the price of having loyal men who were 'willing' to die for you was worth it.
He ordered his men to approach Blivet to 'treat' him, thinking he was a man that was about to die due to the grave injuries, hoping to make a cheap shot to kill him under the pretext of trying to save him quickly.
The armor this man wore was strange yet powerful. It managed to help him clear out these beasts, whose carcasses littered the area, and preserve his life until this very moment. Since the man was weak right now, it was the best time to take it.
This was something he had done multiple times before, even a recently female cultivator that was battered by a pack of thunder wolves.
She was toyed by him and his men.
It wasn't the first time, which is why he tends to 'patrol' the forest every now and then to receive some quick benefits.
Now it was time to get a spear that digs through the defenses of a late-stage nascent profound realm beast like it was soft mud.
Blivet was regenerating the pieces that he was missing as underneath the zerglings that weren't targeted by the pressure brought carcasses they had gathered to help him to recover and build their numbers.
What made things even better was some of them could now rival cultivators of the early stage nascent realm!
He just needed one more push, resisting as much as he could, as when he broke this shackle, he would bring hell upon the enemies of his queen!
One of Lin Wu's men used an attack full of qi called Heaven's Might Absolute Sword—Moon Break. However, the servant couldn't even use 1% of its power since he was practicing the incomplete version, but it still boosted his speed and power of the attack.
Seeing that his servant was about to reach the target he brought forth more pressure hindering the zerg not realizing they helped it instead.
The Zerg attempted to resist the pressure and braced itself for the qi-filled attack.
*Puchi* the blade sank deep into his chest, right where a human's heart should be from behind, which should've been lethal, but Blivet wasn't someone that could die from a mere stab to the chest!
Upon receiving the attack, Blivet didn't feel pain even as the attack used his meager amount of Qi to damage his internals.
In fact, he felt like something was released, only to feel a strange crack as something burst from within...
He managed to break the shackle that held him down, reaching the next realm as the oath-bound slave seemed to sense that something was wrong!
What made things even better was that he could now control 1000 zergs at once.
Ling Wu clicked his tongue in disappointment. Seeing that the attack failed to kill the lowly bug on the ground and there were no screams of pain caused by the technique, he signaled all of his men to attack at the same time.
He failed to notice the change and the recovery of blivet including the red gleam that flickered in its eyes.
Blivet ordered some of his minions to grow in numbers through his mind while the rest heh...!
When the attackers reached within 100 meters, a number of spikes emerged from the group, stabbing and tearing at the slower one. The majority of them managed to escape; however, they were still injured. (A/N Imagine how a lurker attacks~)
as for the slow ones, they struggled as much as they could, but the spikes that stabbed through them suddenly formed hooks and then pulled the victims into the holes in the ground.
Their screams and wails were like a sadistic kind of symphony to blivet.
The smell of their blood invigorated him. He took a breath and released a bestial roar that shook the area. Then, with one hand, he pointed his spear towards his enemy and used the other to slide his blade-like thumb across his neck in a declaration of what he would do soon, all while sporting a terrifying smirk!
ling wu was now slightly fearful as he now realized something the person he attacked wasn't human but in fact a monster!
What was even scarier was when blivet finished that gesture hundreds of eyes opened up from the ground looking at him with ferocious gleam as if the area came to life and wanted to devour him.
