As Thomas stepped out of a mana door into the inn room with normal colored eyes he began to stretch as he said "Good as new." Lily stared at him and said "You were gone for like three days, what were you even doing?" Thomas glanced at Lily and said "Poppy made a room with increased gravity, the time there moves quicker then here as well so I guess I lost track of tile when trying out the room." Lily stared at him and asked "Is that so?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah, I feel way better then before as well." Lily pointed at him and said "I took on a super strong quest a few minutes ago, I was waiting for the others but since your here maybe you can help." Thomas shrugged and said "I don't have very much interest in that but sure, sounds like it could be fun." Lily shown him the paper with the quest on it and said "It says here that we need to take down a group of nearby monsters that have been moving towards this city." Thomas stared at the paper and asked "Is this in the same forest I fought Daisy and Marcus in?" Lily stared at him and said "I don't know, I just know that it's in a nearby forest." Thomas put his hand on Lily's head and teleported them both to the forest as he said "The paper says that they're stronger then the usual monsters right?" Lily nodded and said "They should be even stronger then the already strengthened monsters." Thomas glanced around the forest and asked "Are any of them magical?" Lily shrugged and said "It doesn't say." As Thomas turned around he caught a dagger and mumbled "I just get back and there's already an assassin after me." Thomas sniffed the dagger and said "That's some top quality poison, smells like it would kill me in a few seconds." Thomas glanced at Lily and said "You go on and find the monsters, I'll use the compass to find you in a bit." Lily nodded and ran off as she said "Be careful!" Thomas tossed the dagger aside and said "Hiding won't work, you might as well show yourself so we can get this over with." As a group of men dropped out of the trees they stared at Thomas and said "It's good to see you've gotten better." Thomas stared at them and said "Let me guess, your a part of the Grim Order and need me again?" One of the men nodded and said "We would like you to kill someone." Thomas stared at them and said "I'm trying to give up on doing that, so maybe you can ask for something else." The man stared at Thomas and said "Disobeying isn't an option for you, if you refuse we will kill anyone and everyone you've ever known." Thomas appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the throat as he said "I'm getting pretty fed up with your orders." The men around Thomas all raised their guard as the man grabbed onto Thomas's arm and began to attempt to free himself as he mumbled "Putting your hands on me is an arrogant move." Thomas glared at the man and said "If you want me to kill people your entire group can be next." The man swung a knife with poison on it at Thomas that he had grabbed from his pocket as he said "One man cannot hope to defeat us all." Thomas slammed his head into the man's causing him to drop his weapon as he said "Come after them and I'll kill every last one of you." Thomas tossed the man away and said "Now that I've made myself clear I don't wanna see you anywhere near me or them." As Thomas took a few steps away he glanced back with a penetrating gaze as he said "If I even find out your plotting anything that involves them consider yourselves a target." The man stumbled to his feet as he said "The leader said this would happen, he has already prepared a way to beat you, don't be too full of yourself." Thomas continued to walk away as he said "Your threats mean nothing to me unless you actually do something, so stop being cowards and just say you wanna fight." The man began to dash towards Thomas as he shouted "Then we'll kill you now!" Thomas teleported beside him and said "You see you could've saved us all a lot of time if you just got to the point." Thomas grabbed the man by his head and threw him into a tree as he smiled and said "Don't just stand there, come at me all at once." The men began to back away as they said "We should call in stronger forces." As a creature grabbed two of their heads and crushed them Thomas said "At least I don't have to get my hands dirty." Thomas stared at it and asked "What are you?" The creature towered over the men with black fur covered in blood with razor sharp claws and teeth. Thomas stared at it for a few moments and glanced up at the sky as he said "It's still day so it can't be a werewolf." The creature tore through another few men as Thomas mumbled "Is this this What Lily is looking for?" The creature stomped on the final man who was crawling towards Thomas begging for help crushing his spine and completely killing him as he screamed in agony. Thomas stared at the corpses and said "Guess their evil deeds finally caught up to them." The creature swung at Thomas missing as he stepped to the side and instead slicing a tree instead. Thomas glanced at the tree and said "Pretty much what I expected." As Thomas turned back around he seen the demon lord standing beside the creature. She stared at Thomas and smiled as she asked "So how is my toy doing so far?" Thomas stared at her and said "Well even though I'm not your toy it's been going pretty well." She pointed at Thomas and said "Attack him my Topad, entertain me and break his limbs." Thomas began to walk towards her as he said "I'll just kill this thing and move on to you." The Topad lifted its arms above its head and slashed down destroying the ground. Thomas glanced at the cracking ground as he mumbled "This isn't good." The demon lord stared at Thomas and said "I can see your not as weak as you were before so I'll be increasing it's strength to match yours, I really hope my toy doesn't break easily." Thomas punches the creature in the chest as he asked "How does attacking innocent people benefit you?" The creature hopped back as she said "It benefits me greatly." Thomas stared at her and asked "How does murder benefit you?" The creature began to swing at Thomas rapidly as she said "It's all simple really, I use killing them as a source of entertainment." She began to walk towards the creature and Thomas as he asked "Then why haven't you killed me?" The creature stopped attacking and backed up as she said "It's very simple." Thomas began to breathe heavily as she pointed at him and said "You've peeked my interest twice already, like when we first met you were willing to throw down your life in order to kill me, or like a few minutes ago when I found that your strength increased so much in this short amount of time." As she stood in front of him she said "If you continue to grow stronger I'll be able to have my first enjoyable fight." As she glanced at the Topad she smiled and said "Continue beating him to a pulp but be sure not to kill him." The creature snarled and began to charge at Thomas as he mumbled "So life's just a game to you?" Thomas took his shirt off and said "I don't feel like entertaining you if that's the case." Thomas set the shirt and his jacket on the ground as he smiled said "Let's end this quickly." Thomas grabbed his sword off of the ground and said "Now this will be easier." Thomas quickly swung the sword seemingly once as he said "Now be a good whatever in the hell you are and die." As the creature fell apart the demon lord stared at Thomas and said "Oh that's pretty impressive." Thomas stared at her and said "Okay, now I'm ready to fight you." She glanced at the creature and said "Looks like I should've made that creature a lot stronger." As she walked away she said "No I had my fill today, I'll preparing larger forces to attack you." Thomas stared at her and mumbled "So does this mean we aren't going to fight?" Thomas glanced at the corpses and said "Well then we'll call it even for today." Thomas stood above the creature as Lily ran out towards him and said "All the creatures around here are dead!" Lily glanced down and asked "Did you kill this?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah, it also killed these people so it might've killed the other monsters to." Lily smiled and said "Then it saved us a lot of work."
