Chapter 263 - Chapter 263 The Return Of All The Memories

As Thomas awaited on top of a wall he mumbled "Who's idea was it to leave a note on the inn door just to call me out her in the middle of the day." After waiting there for a while a man walked out behind Thomas and said "Good, you've done as the note asked." Thomas glanced at him and asked "Did you write that stupid note just waste my time?" The man walked towards Thomas and said "I am a part of The Grim Order, and if you do as I ask I can restore your memory." Thomas glanced up into the sky and said "Sounds like you just want more leverage over me." The man put his hand on Thomas's back and said "Don't believe me, then I'll give you a taste of your memories." As the memories rushed back to him he collapsed screaming in agony. The man removed his hand and said "I might've forgotten to mention how painful that process was but I'm sure you understand what I'm offering you." Thomas laid there and mumbled "All of those memories, they were all me killing people." Thomas sat back up and glared at him as he asked "Did you choose to only show me those, or is that all I have to remember." The man smiled and said "I won't say, but as you now know I'm offering you something very important." The man walked towards Thomas and said "As you know this demon lord is quite the nuisance, if you give me your word that you'll deal with her I will restore your memory right now." Thomas stared at the man and asked "What do you mean by deal with her?" The man stared at Thomas and said "We just need her out of the picture, she can live she can die, either is fine we just need her to stay out of our affairs." Thomas scratched the back of his head and mumbled "I plan to deal with her eventually so this might be more beneficial." Thomas stared at the man and said "Maybe." The man smiled and said "Brace yourself for the pain." Thomas immediately fell to the ground screaming in agony once again as he heard Poppy say "You shouldn't have taken your memory, you hid it from yourself for a reason." Thomas laid there and mumbled "Everything is fading to black, but everything seems so clear." As Thomas lost consciousness Poppy began to talk to him as she said "The only benefit of getting your memory back is you get your overwhelming strength back as well as your other abilities." As Thomas sat up in the field of his subconscious he mumbled "All of these memories, they're all flooding back, my head is killing me." Thomas glanced up at Poppy as she said "Your probably having a hard time with all of this." Thomas stared at Poppy and said "You were once someone I knew who had died." Poppy nodded and said "Unfortunately yes, I was a very close friend of yours and when I died you brought me back as a part of your mind." Thomas stared at her and said "You died to another dimensional being." Poppy nodded and said "Yes, they usually come looking for you because you stand at the pinnacle of strength throughout all of reality." Thomas laid back in the grass and mumbled "And what about all that strength." Poppy stared at him and said "I'm sure you already know but all of that strength came back to you with your memory." Poppy stared at him and said "However you should be able to link your life span with theirs now, so you don't have to worry about any of them dying." Thomas held his own hand to his face and said "In that case I should be able to force myself to wake up." Poppy nodded and said "Yes you are able to do that." Thomas closed his eyes and when he opened them he found himself alone exactly where he was when he fell unconscious. Thomas sighed and said "Some of these things might've been better forgotten." Thomas held his hand out in front of him and said "Let's give some of these new abilities a try." As Thomas creates a portal in front of himself he peered into it and seen the demon lord relaxing in a throne. She stared at Thomas for a few seconds and asked "Who's using projection magic right now?" As Thomas walked through the portal he stared at her and said "Cozy little place." She stared at him surprised and asked "How did you find this place." Thomas glanced around and said "Just an ability or whatever you wanna call it." She stared at him and said "You seem different somehow." Thomas began to walk towards her as he said "Let's just end this, why don't we make some sort of deal." She stared at him and said "A deal?" Thomas nodded and said "If I win you have to agree not to kill anyone else." She smiled and said "And what if I win?" Thomas stared at her and said "Go wild." She stood up and said "Fine if I win, you have to become my toy and entertain me everyday of your miserable existence." Thomas nodded and said "Yeah that's fine just hurry it up, I'd like to leave and rest something later." She held her hand up to Thomas and said "I'll be holding back greatly, don't worry about dying too much." Thomas held his hand up towards her and said "Just get on with it." As a purple beam blasted from her hand completely covering Thomas she said "Oh no, I should've held back more." As the beam stopped Thomas continued to stand there and asked "How much did you hold back?" She stood there in shock as she shouted "You survived!" Thomas stared at the palm of his hand and said "I didn't feel anything." As Thomas glanced back up at her she had a huge smile as she said "I finally have a worthy opponent." Thomas stared at her and said "I think we can just end it here." She dashed towards him and punched him in the jaw as she shouted "We aren't gonna stop now, I finally have a real opponent for once." Thomas held his jaw and said "Not feeling anything is kinda taking the fun out of this." The demon lord hopped back and said "I might be able to go all out against you." Thomas stared at her and said "So far it's not doing much, I think it would be best if you just gave up." She pointed at him and said "Shut up, do you know how long I waited for a worthy opponent, I've been trapped for years upon years and now that I'm finally summoned you won't even fight me." As she held her hand up to him she said "Now prepare yourself for my most deadly attack." Thomas began to walk towards her as he asked "If I survive will you just give up?" As the ground beneath them shook she smiled and said "You won't be surviving this!" Thomas glanced at the ground and said "So your just gonna blow this whole place to try and kill me." Thomas stared at her and said "I did the same thing when you were summoned." The floor began to crack and white light began to fill the room more and more with every crack. As the entire building blew up into a small dust the demon lord escaped outside and flew just above the explosion breathing heavily as she said "That should've gotten him." As the dust cleared she seen Thomas standing there amidst the rubble and dust staring at her. Thomas began to walk towards her as he said "I'm pretty sure you just killed all of your forces that were taking refuge here." Thomas raised his hand towards her and said "You got one last chance to call it quits." As she began to be pulled to him by some unknown force she shouted "What's going on?" Thomas glanced at her and stopped her about a yard away as he asked "Are we done now?" She continued to float their unable to move as she nervously said "Okay you win." Thomas lowered his hand and said "These abilities feel familiar and yet I know I knew nothing about them a few minutes ago." Thomas stared at her and said "Okay I won so you have to stop killing people." She stared at him for a few seconds and said "Yes you have my word, I won't kill anyone." Thomas began to walk away as he said "I'm gonna go back to the town now, I don't really care what you do." She began to follow him as she said "I'll just stay with you if you don't care." Thomas glanced at her and asked "What kind of logic is that?" She stared at him and said "Well if I can't kill people I can't be a good demon lord so I might as well follow you around and see what you do for fun." Thomas stared at her and mumbled "I should really choose my words more carefully."
