Chapter 163 - Chapter 163 A World Full Of Humans

As Thomas awoke he seen the sun and mumbled "Did I fall asleep outside?" Thomas sat up and said "No this feeling, I know it." Thomas stood up and said "I was brought to another dimension." Thomas looked around and said "Maybe being in the subconscious makes it more common to be taken to another dimension." Thomas seen a city with huge towers made of glass and began to walk towards it as he mumbled "Time works differently in the subconscious so it'll probably be as if I'd never left." Thomas looked around and said "But time doesn't exist in the subconscious unless I'm there, so time won't even change for them, nothing there will ever change until I get there." As Thomas arrived in the city he looked around and said "None of this stuff makes any sense." Thomas walked past a few people and glanced at a passing car as he mumbled "What kind of magic are they using?" Thomas walked out onto the road and said "Magic must be pretty common in this place." As Thomas stood on the road he glanced down and said "Even the materials here are weird." As a police man walked towards Thomas he said "Get off the road unless you want to be run over, and change that ridiculous outfit." Thomas glanced at him and said "Road?" The man stared at Thomas and said "The thing you're standing on, get off of it." Thomas stared at the ground and said "Okay but what about my clothes?" The man pointed to Thomas's tail and ears and said "You seem to be pretty confused but cosplay isn't something you wear in public." Thomas stared at him confused and said "But they're attached to me." The man laughed and walked away as he said "Sure, and I'm a superhero." Thomas sighed and said "This dimension is confusing." Thomas walked away and mumbled "I don't have enough mana to do what Opal did but I should have enough mana stored up in about a day." Thomas glanced at the man and said "So the road is that material those things go on." Thomas yawned and said "I wish I could've gotten a dimension I was some what used to." As a little girl ran into Thomas she fell over. Thomas glanced at her and asked "You alright?" She stood up and apologized as she ran off. As she reached the road she began to run across it. As a truck appeared and began to head towards her at full speed Thomas appeared behind the little girl and put a hand on her shoulder as he said "No one is gonna get an isekai adventure today." As they both appeared on the sidewalk Thomas glanced at her and said "You might wanna watch out I recently found out you can get in trouble for crossing the road." She stared at him and asked "What did you do?" Thomas began to walk away as he said "Just a simple teleport spell, nothing special." Thomas sighed and said "I definitely just extended the time I'll have to stay here." She stared at him in amazement and asked "Did you really teleport?" Thomas stared at her and said "Yeah, isn't magic common here?" She shook her head and said "These types of things only happen in cartoons and comics." Thomas stared at her and asked "What are those?" She stared at him and said "You just said something about being sent to another dimension." Thomas shrugged and said "Just because I say it doesn't mean I have the slightest clue about it, besides most of the things I say are off of instinct." As a woman walked towards Thomas she slapped him and said "What are you doing with my daughter?" Thomas stumbled backwards and held his cheek as he said "I didn't do anything." She grabbed her daughters hand and asked "What did he do to you?" The little girl stared at her and said "He didn't do anything, all he did was save me from a passing truck." She stared at Thomas and said "I apologize for hitting you, I should've let you explain yourself." Thomas took his hand off of his face and said "That's fine, it's probably because I'm missing one of my eyes so I looked suspicious." The little girl stared at her mom and said "He was able to teleport." The woman glanced at her daughter and said "I'm sorry she has a very vivid imagination." Thomas teleported behind her and said "It's fine if you'll excuse me I should probably find someplace else to be." The woman turned around and stared at Thomas as she said "You can actually teleport?" Thomas glanced at her and asked "I don't see how me teleporting is surprising when you literally have metal boxes passing by you all the time." The little girl stared at him and said "Those are cars not magic." Thomas shrugged and said "Well I'll just wander around for a while, watch out for those car things." The woman stared at Thomas and asked "What are you?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I'm nothin special." The little girl stared at Thomas and said "You can stay with us!" The woman glanced at her daughter and asked "What if he's dangerous." Thomas began to walk away as he said "Don't worry about it, I shouldn't be in this world to begin with, something tore and I got dragged through to this place." The little girl stared at her mom and said "That wasn't very nice." The woman glanced at her daughter and said "We can't trust some creature that's probably incredibly dangerous." As Thomas found a park he walked towards a tree and said "Sleeping outside is pretty normal for me." Thomas laid down under a tree and said "This world is strange, as far as I know there's only humans and they keep telling me there isn't any magic." As a man jumped out from the bushes he stared at Thomas and said "Give me all of your valuables." Thomas stared at him and asked "What kind of valuables you looking for?" The man held a gun at Thomas and said "Anything of any value." Thomas laid back down and said "I don't have anything like that on me right now." The man lowered his gun and asked "What are you homeless?" Thomas yawned and said "Yeah pretty much, as of now I have no where I can go." The man put the gun away and said "Damn I saw a fresh face and got excited." Thomas sat back up as the man walked away and mumbled "Maybe I should follow him." Thomas stood up and began to follow the man quietly as he mumbled "Maybe this world has thieves to?" As the man jumped through the bushes Thomas peeked through them and mumbled "What's he doing?" Thomas seen the man aiming the gun at the same mother and daughter from before. Thomas hid himself in the bushes as the man said "Give me anything of value." The woman held her daughter close and said "Please let us go." Thomas stepped out of the bushes and said "I still don't quite get how this world works but something tells me your not exactly an outstanding citizen." The man turned around and aimed the gun at Thomas as he said "Stay back or I'll shoot." Thomas stood there and said "So that's what a gun looks like in this world?" The man pulled the trigger and shot Thomas in his right shoulder. The little girl began to cry as she asked "What's gonna happen to us." Thomas glanced at his shoulder and said "It stings, but it's not the worst pain I've ever felt." The man began to back away and said "Stay back or I'll shoot again." Thomas appeared behind him and said "Actually I'm pretty sure it's my turn." Thomas punched him in the back and the man fell to the ground on his stomach. As the man turned around and stared at Thomas he shouted "What are you." Thomas was examining the man's gun as he said "Relax I ain't gonna kill you, I just wanna take a look at this." Thomas tossed the gun behind him and said "You know it's really not as interesting as it looks." The man stood up and began to run as he shouted "Monster!" The woman stared at Thomas and said "This is twice you saved us." The little girl stared at her mom and said "Then why can't he stay with us for a while." The woman stared at Thomas's shoulder and said "Alright but only until your shoulder gets better." Thomas stared at her and said "I'll probably be gone before that as long as I can stop using my magic." The little girl smiled and said "Then you can tell me all sorts of stories right." Thomas paused for a moment and said "I don't think those stories are okay for a child." The woman stared at Thomas and asked "Are all of your stories perverted?" Thomas stared at her and said "No they're just all very violent."
