Chapter 115 - Chapter 115 Thomas Has A Cold

As Thomas awoke the very next day he stumbled out of bed and mumbled "Why does my body feel heavy and why am I sweating?" Scarlett who was sitting in a chair across from Thomas while reading a book glanced at him and said "Your probably sick from wearing wet clothes all yesterday, me and Daisy warned you." Thomas stared at her and said "I don't think I'm sick." Scarlett closed her book and walked towards Thomas as she said "You should lay down and rest for today." Scarlett put her forehead on Thomas's and said "You definitely have a fever." Thomas stared at her and asked "What are you doing?" Scarlett took her forehead off of his and said "I was checking your temperature." Scarlett grabbed Thomas by his shoulders and pushed him back onto the bed as she said "You should rest today, I'm sure Daisy would tell you the same." Thomas laid their and said "I can't I still have to plan out our attack." Scarlett stared at Thomas and said "The others will be back up momentarily so be patient and wait to hear what Daisy has to say." Thomas glanced at her and asked "What'll you do if I teleport away." Scarlett glared at him and said "You can try but being sick can affect your mana so I doubt it'll work." Thomas sat up and closed his eyes as he said "Then we'll just see if being sick can stop me." After a few seconds Scarlett said "You should quit trying and take it easy or your sickness will worsen." Thomas stared at her and said "I can't teleport." Scarlett sighed and said "You won't be able to use much magic when your sick so do us all a favor and stay put." Thomas laid back down and said "No magic makes things difficult." Scarlett stared at him and said "If you try to leave I'll be left with no choice but to keep you here by force." Moments after Lily and the others walked into the room and asked "What quest for you guys wanna do?" Scarlett stared at Thomas and said "He won't be able to do anything in his condition." Daisy glared at him and angrily asked "Did you get into another fight." Thomas laid their and didn't say a thing as Scarlett said "He didn't fight anyone he's sick." Daisy let out a sigh of relive and said "I thought it would be way more serious then that." Thomas glanced at her and said "I feel fine, all I need to do right now is continue planning out our attack." Daisy glared at him and said "If you even think about trying to do anything we'll tie you down again." Thomas sat up and said "Guess we'll have to see if that actually works." Daisy walked towards him and put her forehead to his and said "He's definitely sick." Ocis walked over towards Thomas and said "You shouldn't have been playing in the rain." Thomas glanced at Ocis and said "I wasn't playing in the rain." Daisy took her forehead off of Thomas's and said "It doesn't matter what you say your sick and need to rest." Thomas glanced at Ocis as she said "I'll stay here and take care of you." Lily stood up on the bed and said "You belong to me so that means your my responsibility." Thomas turned and stared at her as he asked "But didn't your father buy me to protect you?" Lily stared at Thomas and said "You can't protect me if your sick so take it easy until your fever goes down." Thomas sighed and said "Alright I'll take it easy for today." Lily grabbed onto his shoulders and pulled him backwards as she said "Just relax and let us take care of you." Daisy stared at Thomas and said "Before you lay down and get comfortable you should take off your shirt and let us wipe the sweat off of you." Thomas day back up and took his shirt off as he said "I can wipe the seat off my self." Daisy stared at Thomas and said "Just relax and let us help you." Scarlett stared at the four of them and said "I'm gonna head out for a bit please ignore my absence." Lily glanced at her and said "Don't worry we'll take care of him while your gone." Thomas sat their as Ocis grabbed a rag and began to wipe Thomas with it. Thomas glanced at her and asked "Is this really necessary?" Daisy glared at him and said "Don't ask if it's necessary if you've already agreed to allow us to help you." As they wiped Thomas down Daisy asked "So how far along has your plan come." Thomas glanced at her and said "Apart from the plan being pushed back a day it's coming along fine." Ocis stared at Thomas and asked "Where should we go after we beat the king?" Thomas glanced at Ocis and said "I don't really care where we go next." Lily excitedly reaches into Thomas's satchel that was sitting on the floor and pulled out the map as she cheerfully said "I'm pretty sure I can find a fun place to go." After Daisy and Ocis finishes getting the sweat off of Thomas Daisy said "You shouldn't bother putting a shirt on just lay down and let the sickness run it's course." Thomas laid back and said "I feel like I'm wasting time." Ocis glanced at him and asked "Why?" Thomas stared at her and said "My mana is full right now so it's not like I'm sitting around waiting for it to fill so it just feels like I'm wasting time." Ocis walked over to Thomas and laid down beside him and grabbed onto his arm as she said "Don't think about it like that just think about it as a we'll deserved break." Daisy glanced at him and said "She's right you deserve to take a break." Thomas sighed and said "I guess that king gets to rule a while longer." Lily stared at Thomas and said "I know where we're gonna go next!" Thomas glanced at her and asked "Where are we going?" Lily rolled the map back up and said "It's the next town over so you'll just have to wait and see." Thomas yawned and said "Okay I'll just wait then." As Thomas fell asleep Lily glanced at him and asked "Do you ever wonder about who you were before you lost your memories?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I gave up on trying to figure it out a long time ago." Daisy stared at him and asked "But aren't you ever curious?" Ocis stared at Thomas and said "I don't think he heard you." Daisy sighed and said "He fell asleep while I was asking him something." Lily put the map back into the satchel and said "He must've been pushing himself all this time." Daisy day down beside him and said "Maybe it was for the best that he caught a cold." Ocis glanced at Daisy and said "Yeah he has been doing a lot of investigating at the castle these past few days." Lily laid down beside Ocis and said "I wish he would rely on us more." Daisy laid down and grabbed onto Thomas's other arm as she said "I just wish he wasn't so dense." As Scarlett walked into the room and seen them she asked "What did I miss?" Lily glanced at her and said "Shh he's sleeping." Scarlett walked over to them and laid down beside Daisy as she said "It seems you guys are having a good time." Ocis smiled and said "We are having a good time." Lily glanced at Ocis and said "I'm glad you are this bed is way too small for five people." Daisy glanced at her and said "If you don't like it Your more than welcome to leave." Lily sat up and said "What if I don't want to." Daisy sat up and said "Then stop complaining." Lily stood up on the bed and said "He belongs to me so you guys can't go around keeping him to yourself." Scarlett sat up and said "Many of us owe him a lot I'm sure we all just wish to repay him some how." Ocis stood up and get off of the bed as she said "By harpy tradition he belongs to me." They all turned to Ocis and began to argue with her. As they argued Thomas woke up and asked "What's going on?" As Thomas sat up they all turned and started at Thomas and said "It's just a small argument." Thomas stared at them all confused and asked "What's it about?" They all glanced at each other and nodded in agreement as they turned back to him they said "Its a secret." Thomas laid back down and asked "If it's a secret why are you guys screaming about it?" They all stared at each other and said "We'll go outside into a nearby forest and continue this discussion." As they left Thomas stared at the door confused and said "I always feel incredibly left out." Thomas shrugged and said "I might as well go back to sleep if it isn't important."
