Chapter 114 - Chapter 114 Exploration Of An Enemy Castle

As Thomas woke up he looked through the window and seen that it was raining as he mumbled "I stayed up all night attempting to read a picture book and couldn't even get past the first page." Thomas watched the rain fall as he said "Forget not being able to read I have to do some more stuff to prepare for the fight." Daisy glanced at him and said "If your going out wear a jacket or something." Thomas opened the window and said "My jacket is still destroyed, I haven't fixed it yet." Daisy glared at him and said "Then don't go, you'll catch a cold." Thomas glanced at her and said "I plan to get rid of this king quick so I'm not gonna let some rain stop me." As Thomas jumped out of the window Daisy sighed and said "He's definitely gonna get sick." Thomas ran towards the castle while waving at Daisy as he said "I'll be back soon." As Thomas ran through the streets he sighed and said "This rain is gonna ruin my tail." Once Thomas arrived at the castle he said "I should plant traps in the barracks to get rid of the enemies that aren't poisoned." Thomas teleported directly into the barracks as he looked around he noticed that nobody was in sight. Thomas smiled and said "I'm free to do this without anyone knowing." Thomas walked over to all three of the entrances and said "This should be surprisingly easy." After setting the traps Thomas looked at the castle and said "What could you be hiding up in the castle?" Thomas smiled and said "I'm sure it'll be fine if I take a quick peek." Thomas ran towards the giant wooden door and said "But before I go I should set another trap here." Thomas smiled and said "This one isn't exactly a trap but it'll be funny if the king walks through and a bucket of water falls on his head." After putting a bucket above the door he backed up and began to search for an open window. After spotting a window he mumbled "Its not open but I suppose it doesn't matter." Thomas teleported up and through the window as he said "Anything see through is an open door to me." As he teleported inside he glanced around to make sure that no one seen him enter. Thomas smiled and said "The coast is clear." Thomas began to shake his tail throwing the water all over the place. As Thomas took a closer look at the hallway he seen that it had three doors and said "What's behind door number one." As Thomas opened the door he seen a small bedroom that was probably for one of the servants. Thomas closed the door and said "Room number one is incredibly boring." Thomas walked towards the second door and said "Room number two should be more interesting." As Thomas opened the door he seen that the room look exactly the same. As Thomas closed the door he said "Déjà vu." Thomas walked towards the third door and said "This one better be interesting." As Thomas opened the third and final door he said "Room service." As the door opened he heard someone say "Come in." Thomas quickly closed the door and said "Door number three is definitely interesting." Thomas slowly backed away from the door as he said "If I teleport away from here they might think it's someone messing with them." Thomas looked around and began to panic as he said "Teleporting away is no good I still have to look around the castle." As the door opened Thomas froze and seen a lady peek her head out. She glanced at Thomas and asked "Are you not going to clean my room?" Thomas stared at her confused and mumbled "She must be new." Thomas stood their speechless as she asked "Why are you soaking wet?" Thomas looked down at his clothes and said "I had to do something out in the barracks." She opened the door and walked towards Thomas as she said "Demi human slaves shouldn't be treated so poorly." Thomas stared at her shocked as he mumbled "Did she see the seal?" She grabbed Thomas by the hand and said "Come with me we shall speak to with the person to ask you to do such a task in this weather." Thomas just followed her silently as she said "I bet it was that prince who put you up to this." Thomas glanced at her and mumbled "Not even close, I came here of my own free will." She continued to lead him through the castle as she walked by guards and other demi humans. Thomas glanced at the other demi humans as he mumbled "I wonder how long they've all been here." As she stopped moving they arrived at a massive wooden door as Thomas asked "Where are we?" She opened the door and said "We are at the prince's quarters and we are gonna discuss what he had you do." The lady dragged Thomas into the room and told him to sit down on the bed and relax. Thomas sat their nervously as he mumbled "Could this prince be the same prince I beat in that duel." As the door slowly opened the lady shouted "Do you have any idea what you had this poor demi human do?" As a man walked into the room that Thomas didn't recognize he asked "What did I do?" She walked up to him and angrily said "You had this demi human doing something in the rain." The man glanced at Thomas and said "I didn't command any demi humans to do anything." The pointed at Thomas and said "Then why is he soaking wet." Thomas stared at the man and mumbled "Maybe the prince Daisy was suppose to marry isn't a single child?" The man walked towards Thomas and asked "Do you know who forced you to work in the rain, I'll gladly tell him that we do not abuse our power over you." Thomas stared at him and nervously said "The person who ordered me to do work in the rain has also ordered me not to tell anyone who they were." The man stood up and said "That's no good, then we won't be able to figure out who did it." The man turned back to Thomas and said "Unfortunately theirs nothing we can do right now." The lady glanced at Thomas and asked "Can you at least help him with getting a dry pair of clothes?" The man walked towards Thomas and said "Unfortunately we can't even do that, most of the maids are busy helping the king with something." The lady walked towards the prince and said "I liked you better when you were younger and not relying on others." The man glanced at Thomas and said "Don't worry about this little argument we're actually child hood friends." Thomas stared at the lady and mumbled "She's not new here?" The lady sighed and said "Unfortunately we can't really help you right now because he's being stubborn." Thomas stood up and said "I'll be fine." Thomas walked towards the door and said "I'll let myself out." The man and lady watched as Thomas left the room. As Thomas exited the room three guards appeared before him and said "The king has demanded all demi human slaves to report to the throne room." Thomas stared at them and nervously said "Thanks for informing me I'll be heading their now." Thomas began to walk down the hall away from the guards as he mumbled "These guys suck at their jobs." After walking down the hall for a bit one of the guards said "Wait." Thomas turned towards the guards and nervously asked "What?" The guard pointed down another hallway as he said "Your heading the wrong way." Thomas stared at where he was pointing as he said "Sorry I'm kinda new." The guards walked away and said "It's fine I remember my first day here just be sure to make it to the king in time or you'll be the one suffering because of it." As the guards walked out of sight Thomas sighed and said "Forget this, all I'm doing is wasting my time here." Thomas teleported back to the inn and mumbled "I don't know how much time I wasted but all I learnt was that the prince isn't the only prince their." As Thomas appeared Scarlett stared at him shocked and asked "Why are you soaking wet?" Thomas stared at her and said "I had to investigate the castle some more but I just ended up getting soaked and wasting my time." Thomas glanced at his tail and said "Even messed up my tail in the rain for no reason." Scarlett glanced at his tail and said "It is kinda messy." Thomas stared at her and asked "Where are the others?" Scarlett looked out the window and said "They went to the bath house." Scarlett stared at Thomas and said "You should change your clothes before you get sick." Thomas glanced at her and mumbled "You and Daisy seem to be big fans of foreshadowing." Thomas yawned as he said "Dealing with those people is exhausting." Scarlett stared at him and asked "Did you fight." Thomas stared at her and said "Much worse I had to deal with acting like a slave." Scarlett stared at him confused and said "But aren't you actually a slave?" Thomas nodded and said nothing as Scarlett stared at him even more confused.
