Chapter 112 - Chapter 112 Molding The Earth

As Thomas and Poppy got into the hot springs she glanced at him and said "Relax and let go of your worries." Thomas ties a blindfold around his eyes as he asked "What worries?" She stared at him and said "You don't have to play dumb with me, I am apart of you and know how your feeling." Thomas turned towards her and sighed as he said "I always forget that your able to read into my emotional state." She stood up and moved in front of Thomas as she asked "Is their anything I can do to help soothe your mind?" Thomas yawned and said "No this is fine." Poppy sat down in front of him as she said "Alright but if you do need my help just let me know and I'll try my best." Thomas sat their as he said "I'm sure you'll try to help me even if I don't ask you." She closed her eyes and said "Yes you are right but right now you must go." As Thomas awoke he found himself surrounded by Lily and the others. Thomas stared at them and asked "What are you all doing here?" Ocis stared at him and cheerfully said "It's time to go to the next town." As Thomas stood up Scarlett turned away without saying a word. Thomas stared at her and said "If your still upset about the spell you shouldn't be, the effects only lasted three minutes anyway." She glanced at him and apologized once again as Daisy said "I don't even know why you'd do something like that to him in the first place." Lily stared at Daisy and said "For the spell to work it required someone who felt the guilt of murder." Thomas stared at Scarlett and said "What's done is done, don't worry about it so much." Ocis stared at Thomas and asked "Does your spell book have anything to stop people from worrying?" Thomas shrugged and said "I can check." Lily stared at Thomas and said "Check while we walk we don't wanna waste any more time." Thomas reached into his satchel and pulled out his book as he said "You just lead the way I'll follow as I check." After walking for a while Ocis glanced at Thomas and asked "Did you find a spell that can help you?" Thomas closed the book and said "I didn't see a spell like that but I did happen to find another interesting spell." Ocis stared at him and asked "What kind of spell is it?" Thomas put the book back in his satchel and said "The spell is called mold earth." Ocis stared at him confused and asked "What's it do?" Thomas kneeled down and put his hand on the ground as he said "I can use my mana to control the minerals in the ground." Ocis stared at him even more confused and said "That doesn't make me understand, all you did was confuse me more." Thomas smiled and said "To make a long story short, I can control the ground." As Thomas said this he made a small hole appear in the ground. Ocis stared at the hole and said "So you can make holes?" Thomas glanced around her and said "Hardly." As the hole filled itself back in a dirt sphere surrounded Thomas. Ocis stared at him and began to panic as she shouted "The earth ate him." Lily and the others turned around and seen the sphere as they asked what happened?" As the sphere crumbled Thomas stood their with some dirt on his head as he said "That's all I'm able to do with the spell right now but once I get my mana back up I'll be able to move denser and stronger materials." Daisy glanced at Ocis and said "The earth didn't eat him." Thomas stared at her and said "Daisy's right, that was just me texting a new spell." Ocis used her wing to push the dirt off of his head as she said "You scared me." Lily and the others all stared at Ocis as they said "You scared all of us." Thomas stared at them as he said "It should be able to a lot more but I'll leave it at that for now." Lily glanced at Thomas and asked "How much mana does it use?" Thomas stared at her and said "The mana varies on the material but just now when I was moving that dirt I'd say it used one percent of my mana every couple of seconds." Scarlett stared at him and said "So you wouldn't be able to keep it up for anymore then a few minutes." Thomas nodded and said "This is spell is a pretty flexible one and I can pretty much use it to do whatever as long as it involves the minerals inside the earth." Thomas glanced around Lily and asked "Do you wanna help me test it out a bit?" Lily excitedly said "I wanna see what you can do with the spell so of course I'll help you!" Thomas stepped off of the path and said "This spell can be used both offensively and offensively, so just come at me with everything you got." Lily nodded and pulled out her dagger as she said "I should've been able to beat you myself before so don't hold back." Thomas nodded and said "I'm not gonna give it my all I'm just testing a few things." Lily stared at him and said "Then I want this to be a real fight so if I beat you I can command you to do anyone thing without complaint." Thomas stared at her and said "Okay then if I lose I'll do whatever you ask." Scarlett stared at him and said "You still don't intend to take this seriously do you." Thomas turned around and stared at her as he said "Nope." Lily dashed towards him with the dagger in one hand and aimed her other hand at him as she shouted "Water bolt!" Thomas ignored her and kneeled down to the ground. Thomas smiled and said "I don't plan to take this fight seriously but I don't plan on losing either." After he said this a massive dirt wall came out of the ground and stopped the water bolt leaving a dent in the wall in where it had hit. As Lily jumped around the wall and towards Thomas with the dagger he raised the ground and himself under him up by piling dirt underneath where he was standing forming a pillar of dirt. Thomas took his hand off of the ground and walked to the edge as he peered off at Lily and said "It's like I told you this spell allows me to do a lot of different things, so if you wanna beat me you gotta try something a lot different then just attacking head on." Lily stared at him and shouted "I can't get you up their, come down here and fight me!" Thomas smiled and sat down as he said "What's the point in coming down their to fight you." As Thomas put his hand on the pillar her said "When it's far easier to just to do this." Lily stared at him and crossed her arms to form an x as she shouted "Bind." Before Lily's spell could do anything she was lowered into the ground as Thomas formed a huge hole where she was standing. As the chains wrapped around Thomas the spell quit lowering her into the ground. Thomas stood on top of the pillar and stared at her as she attempted to climb out of the hole he had created. Thomas stared at her and asked "Do you wanna call it a draw?" She shook her head and said "I won't lose to you, I'm gonna win this time." Thomas laid down on top of the pillar and said "We'll tell me when you give up then." Lily continued to climb out of the hole as she reached the top she was breathing heavily and said "Now all I have to do is climb this pillar." Thomas yawned and said "You don't have to climb the pillar just give up." Lily began to climb the pillar as she shouted "Its only a matter of time before you lose so stop trying to talk your way out of it." Thomas sat up and said "Cause my moment of relaxation is over." As Lily reaches the top Thomas stood up and walked towards her as he said "A fall this high will leave the loser with quite the damage." Lily stood up and began breathing heavily as she unsheathed the her dagger and dashed towards Thomas. As she dashed towards him she lost her footing and slipped. Thomas bit her shirt and held her up as he mumbled "If your gonna fight me up here at least watch your step."as Thomas set Lily down on top of the pillar she sighed and said "If you hadn't helped me you would've won, so I'll give up for now." Thomas sat down and asked "Can you get rid of these chains?" She nodded and removed the chains as she said "I'll challenge you again next time but for now we should focus on getting to the next town."
