Chapter 111 - Chapter 111 Poppy The Woman In The Subconscious

As Daisy walked into the room she seen Scarlett holding onto Thomas as Lily sat on the bed. Daisy stared at them confused as she glanced at Lily and asked "What's going on?" Lily walked towards Daisy and handed her the paper with the spell on it. Daisy stared at the spell and stared at Lily as she said "You rested the spell on him?" Lily glanced at her and said "I wasn't the one that did it." Daisy stared at Scarlett and asked "Why would you use a spell that makes people feel bad about what they've done on him?" Scarlett stared at her and said "I didn't know it would be so effective." Daisy stared at Thomas and asked "Are you alright?" Thomas just sat their as he said "I'm fine, just a bit shocked." Daisy sat down beside them and said "I didn't think you'd actually try the spell on him." Thomas glanced at her and said "If you were gonna test the spell you could've at least woken and told me." Scarlett apologized once again as she let go of him and stood up while she said "Next time I wanna test a spell on you I'll ask you first." Thomas continued to sit on the floor as he glanced at Daisy and asked "Where's Ocis?" Daisy pointed at the door as she said "Ocis said she was getting something to eat." Thomas stood up and said "I'm gonna go out and clear my head a bit." As Thomas left Daisy stared at Scarlett and asked "Are you sure he's alright?" Scarlett stared at the door and said "I don't know but I do know I'm responsible for this." As Thomas stood outside of the inn he sighed and glanced at the building. Thomas turned away from the building and said "Maybe I should just go back to sleeping in the tree." Thomas stared at some trees and said "Yeah that sounds good." Thomas began to walk towards the trees as he mumbled "Did I really kill that many people?" As Thomas arrived at the tree he sat down under the it and said "I can't even remember how many I killed." As Thomas fell asleep under the tree he began to wonder how many people he's killed. As he fell asleep he woke up in the middle of a field. Thomas looked around and said "It's been a while since I've been here." As Thomas stood up and turned around he seen a small house sitting their. Thomas stared at it confused as he asked "Since when was that their?" Thomas walked into the house and asked "Why wasn't I aware that my subconscious had a house?" Thomas stood in the door way as the lady appeared behind him and said "The reason you don't remember the house is because it's new." Thomas turned around and stared at her as he asked "Did you build it?" She nodded and said "I was able to control some of your subconscious and and added a few things." Thomas glanced back inside the house as he said "Sorry for intruding." She walked inside and closed the door as she said "Your not intruding, this is your mind after all." Thomas glared at her as he asked "Then can't you remove that annoying beam of light that always hides your face?" She nodded and said "I could." Thomas stared at her and asked "Then why haven't you?" She stared at Thomas and said "It just never crossed my mind." Thomas stared at her as she said "I can remove the light now if you want." Thomas stared at her and said "I don't know why you couldn't have done it sooner." She stared at him and said "I wasn't able to before because I've been searching through your mind and gathering your memories to become more powerful." Thomas stared at her and watched as the light vanished revealing her face. She stared at Thomas and asked "How's this?" Thomas stared at her with a blank expression as he said "It's much better then that annoying light." She sat down on a sofa as she patted the seat next to her and said "You must be exhausted, why don't you take a seat." Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "How can I get tired in a dream." She stared at him and said "I'm not talking physically, I mean your mind must be exhausted." Thomas walked over to her and sat down beside her as he said "I guess you already know about what I've done then." She nodded and said "When I was searching through your memories I found quite a few of you killing others." Thomas sighed and said "I never really wanted to kill any of them." She stared at him and said "I am aware, but what's done is done." Thomas stared at her and asked "You wouldn't happen to remember I am yet do you?" She shook her head and said "I don't have the slightest clue on who you are, but after some searching I have found that I don't have a name." Thomas stared at her and said "When I first woke up in that field when that thing flew above me I didn't really have a name either." She stared at him and cheerfully said "I have an idea." Thomas stared at her and asked "What's your idea?" She held up her hands in front of Thomas as a hologram like image appeared in her hands of Jake giving Thomas his name." Thomas stared at her and said "So you want me to give you a name." As she lowered her hands the image disappeared. She stared at Thomas and said "If I had a name it would be much easier for you to talk to me." Thomas stared at her and said "You can just come up with your own name you don't have to depend on me for this." She stared at him and said "I got pretty much everything else from you, and I want my name to be something special." Thomas sighed and said "Thinking of a name on the spot isn't easy." Thomas stared at her and said "How about Poppy?" She stared at him as he said "Okay maybe not-" Before he could finish talking she said "I love it." Thomas let out a sigh of relive as he said "That pause made me think you didn't like it." Poppy stared at him and said "I don't see why I wouldn't like it, after all it was given to me by you." Thomas closed his eyes and put his head back as he said "I don't see why you wanted me to pick your name when you could've done it yourself and had a far better one." She stared at him and said "I already told you I wanted it to be something special and if I came up with it by myself it wouldn't have been nearly as special." She stared at him and said "That reminds me, you've been becoming quite powerful." Thomas glanced at her and said "I have no interest in power." She stared at him and said "You'll need to be way stronger if you want to fight that powerful king." Thomas stared at her and said "Your right about that but the only reason I'm trying to get some power in the first place is so I can fight Opal on equal terms." Poppy stared at him with a puzzled look as she asked "Then why didn't you eat that fruit?" Thomas stared at her and said "If I'm gonna fight people I want it to be with my own power and on my own terms." She stared at him and said "I figured you'd say something like that, but I want you to know that I'll always be here to support you." Thomas stared at her and said "It's not like you could leave." She stared at him and said "Your right but I'm trying to comfort you." Thomas stared at her confused and said "Aren't you apart of me?" She nodded and said "That's why I know how you feel so you should relax while your here and let me help relax your mind." Thomas stared at her and asked "How do you plan to do that." She stared outside the window and pointed towards a tree as she said "I was able to create a hot springs over their by that tree, it should be just what you need to relax." Thomas stared at the tree and said "Alright." As they stood up and walked towards the hot springs Poppy said "I plan to make more trees over here but I don't have enough power yet, so I'd appreciate it if you could keep making memories." Thomas glanced at her and said "Guess your new power allows you to pretty much do whatever you want in here." She nodded as she aimed her hands at the ground and said "I should have enough power to demonstrate for you." As she concentrated on the ground in front of her a full grown tree sprouted from the ground in front of them beside the hot spring as she said "I created pretty much everything here, I hope you visit often and enjoy what I make in here."
