Chapter 109 - Chapter 109 The Lamias Golems

Thomas glared at the other two lamias and said "A spell to create your own golems must've taken a lot of time." Thomas began to walk towards them as he said "Get lost or die, your choice." The lamia glanced at each other and began to slither away. Thomas turned to the lamia's body and said "This could've gone differently, you might've lived if I'd done things differently." Thomas sighed and said "Theirs no point on worrying about a what if scenario, what's done is done and I can't change that." Thomas began to walk towards the golems as he said "Killing the one in control should make this easier, in fact they should be just like normal wild golems now." Once Thomas could see the golems he glanced at Lily and the others as he let out a sigh of relief and said "Good their not hurt." Thomas watched as Lily raised her hands above her head and shouted "Solar ray!" Thomas watched as she used the beam of light to slice through three of the golems. Lily began to breathe heavily as she glanced at Scarlett and said "That's all I got right now." Thomas walked towards the three golems which were now rubble as he bent down to the shattered pieces he said "Lily must've focused her mana on increasing the damage of the beam." Thomas picked up a chunk of the golem and crushed it in his palm as he stared at the other seven and said "Their just tier one dirt golems." Thomas stood up and said "These things are just dirt go for their joints." Scarlett nodded and dashed towards one of the golems with her sword slicing through the golem's knee. Thomas watched as the golem fell over. The golem continued to move as Thomas said "The core is most likely somewhere in its chest." Scarlett nodded and held her hand on its chest as she shouted "Water bolt!" Thomas stared at her as he said "You don't have to just nod you can give me a response." Scarlett stared at him and said "Thinking of words while in a fight isn't very efficient." Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "Does thinking of words during a fight really slow people down?" Thomas shrugged as he glanced at Daisy and seen a boulder being thrown at her. Thomas teleported beside her and pulled her out of the way. Thomas glanced at her and said "You might wanna be more careful." Daisy glared at him and said "That's rich coming from you." Thomas sighed and mumbled "Fine be like that, I definitely didn't just waste some of my already very limited supply of mana to help you." Thomas glanced at the boulder that the golem had thrown as he smiled and began to walk towards it. Ocis glanced at him as she asked "What are you doing?" Thomas began to lift the boulder as he said "I'm gonna return the favor." Ocis watched as he struggled to lift the boulder. Once he lifted it she asked "What are you gonna do with it now." Thomas put his hands behind his head and began to thrust them forward as he shouted "I'm gonna throw this boulder and take out one of those things!" As he threw the boulder Ocis watched land less then five feet in front of him as she pointed at it and said "You threw it." Thomas turned away embarrassed as he said "J-just ignore that." Thomas glanced at the boulder as he sighed and said "I barely threw it anywhere." Thomas turned towards the golems and said "I may not be able to throw a boulder like you but that doesn't mean I accept defeat." Ocis stared at him as she said "I thought you were gonna give up after making a fool of yourself." Thomas glared at her and said "That boulder is heavier then you'd think." Ocis glanced at the boulder and said "Don't feel to bad I doubt I can even pick it up." Thomas shrugged and said "Guess it just isn't possible yet." Ocis took to the sky and said "That's the spirt, now help us beat these things." Thomas watched as she dived at a golem shoving the spear into its chest and knocking the golem onto the ground. As Ocis attempted to pull the spear out she realized it was stuck and that she shoved it to far into the golem and that it ended up going through the ground. Thomas walked towards her and ripped the spear out of the golem's chest with ease as he said "We've beaten half of them." Thomas watched as Daisy snuck behind one of the golems. Daisy stood behind the golem and shoved one of the daggers through the back of the golem's knee. The golem fell forward and as it did Daisy shoved through dagger into its back. Thomas stood their and said "You guys don't even need me here." Lily stared at him and said "The reason we got this powerful is thanks to you." Thomas stared at her confused as he said "No you got stronger on your own." Lily glared at him and said "None of us would be adventuring together if it wasn't for you." Thomas stared at her and said "You would've all gone adventuring soon enough." Daisy and Scarlett stared at him as Scarlett said "If I hadn't met you I'd have been killed by some other adventure, I owe you my life." Daisy stared at him as she said "It's because of you that I got to adventure too." Thomas stared at them both and said "Maybe theirs two exceptions." Ocis landed beside Thomas and said "I only went adventuring because of you too!" Thomas sighed and said "Okay so I might be most of the reason for this adventure." Thomas shrugged and said "Oh well guess it doesn't matter how we got here but we should deal with those golems." As Thomas looked for the four remaining golems he seen that they were fighting each other. Thomas stared at them confused as he pointed at them and asked "What are they doing?" Lily stared at them and said "Their magic is becoming unstable since their no longer connected to the main supply causing them to lash out uncontrollably." Thomas sat down and watched them fight as he said "So their just gonna fight until only one remains?" Lily nodded as she said "We can just deal with the final one but I wonder what happened to the person who summoned these golems." Thomas turned away from her as he said "Yup sure is strange that the guy who did this suddenly decided to stop." Lily glared at him as she asked "You wouldn't happen to know anything we don't would you?" Thomas stood up and said "Not a clue." Lily glared at him as she said "Your terrible a terrible liar." Thomas pointed towards the town as he said "Their was a lamia in town who wanted to know how I summoned the ancients and so they resorted to violence since I wouldn't tell them." Daisy glanced at Thomas as she asked "So he just gave up?" Thomas glanced at the remaining golem as he said "Yeah something like that." Lily glared at him as she said "You killed him didn't you?" Thomas fell silent as Scarlett said "I thought you weren't going to kill anymore." Thomas stood up and said "In a life or death situation I'm sure you'd agree that you'd rather be the person alive." Thomas began to walk toward the golem as he said "It may be unreasonable and you may have a different opinion on it but I suppose that's just the way I do things." As the golem raised its arms to bash Thomas into the ground he punched the golem in the chest sending through the air. Daisy glanced at Lily as she said "It doesn't look like he's gonna stop." Lily sighed as she said "He'll end up regretting it, I'm trying to help him but he just won't listen." Scarlett stared at Thomas as she said "He seems to be aware of what he's doing, which is a good thing because he knows it's wrong." Lily glanced at Scarlett and asked "How is killing a good thing?" Scarlett stared at her and said "I never said it was a good thing, I said it's good he's aware of his decisions and what they can cause." Ocis stared at them and said "If he chooses to kill people we can't really stop him." Lily glanced at her and said "Maybe not with our strength but I can still use the seal to prevent him." Daisy stared at her and said "That'll work as long as he's not drunk." Thomas glanced at them and sighed as he looked up at the sky and said "I'm nothing more then a murder." Thomas began to walk towards the town as he said "It'll just be best if I move on and don't think about it to much."
