Chapter 108 - Chapter 108 Power Hungry Lamias

As Thomas glanced behind him he seen the lamias still following close behind. Thomas stopped moving and turned around to stare at them. As he stopped the lamia stood in front of him and asked "How were you able to summon the ancient?" Thomas shrugged and said "Dunno just sort of happened." Thomas stared at them and waved as he said "I'll be taking my leave now." As he turned around a female lamia wrapped herself around him and seductively said "Maybe you just need a little convincing and maybe then you'll tell us." Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "What's so great about summoning those things?" The lamia began to slowly increase her grip around Thomas as she said "Those creatures have the power to destroy this whole world, you'd be stupid if you didn't want that kind of power at your fingertips." Thomas stared at her uninterested in the entire conversation as he asked "Why is everyone always so interested in power?" Thomas stared at her and said "Nothing good ever comes from it, if you have power others will challenge you or seek your power." Thomas sighed and said "I suppose this is a useless topic." Thomas stared at her and said "I should really be going now." The lamia began to tighten her grip even more as she seductively said "Maybe you'd tell me if we had a little fun." Thomas stared at her even more confused as he asked "Why'd your grip tighten I'm trying to go." She lifted his chin so he would look at her as she seductively said "Maybe just one time." Thomas stared at her completely annoyed as he smiled and said "Fine its not like I need you to let go of me." As she got closer and closer to Thomas's face she licked his cheek and he vanished appearing behind her as he said "I'll take my leave now." They all watched as he walked into town and began to whisper amongst themselves. Thomas ignored them all and began to walk through the town as he muttered "I already wasted a ton of mana when I woke that giant snake and that teleport to the surface didn't exactly help, even though it gave me a giant jolt of mana I'm still nearing my limit." Thomas sighed as he said "With the mana I have now I'd be surprised if I can even teleport back to the inn." As Thomas walked through the town he mumbled "If I go back to the inn odds are they'll know where to find me." Thomas turned around and seen the lamia following him once again. As Thomas seen them he began to run. The lamia began to chase after him as he ran. Thomas glanced up and jumped on top of some stalls and on top of the roof. Thomas began to run across the roofs as he jumped off and out of the village and hid in a tree. Thomas sighed as he said "I'll just hang back here and relax until everyone is ready to go." After sitting in the tree for a while Thomas eventually fell asleep. As some time passes Thomas felt the tree shake underneath him. Thomas yawned and said "What is it now?" As Thomas looked down to see what it was he seen about ten golem's beneath him. Thomas glared at them and mumbled "I can't catch a break today can I." Thomas hopped out of the tree and across the golem's heads landing behind them. Thomas began to walk away from them as he said "These golem's are different their not nearly as big as the wild ones." Thomas glanced at the golem's and seen them all chasing him as he said "And to top it all of their all after me." Thomas glared at the golems and said "Someone's trying to kill me." As one of the golem's lifted their hands and swung at Thomas he leaned back barely avoiding it. Thomas stared at the golem and said "Someone enhanced these things with magic?" Thomas turned around and began to run as he said "These things shouldn't be that fast." As Thomas ran he seen Lily and the others leaving the town. Thomas began to run towards them as he mumbled "They should be able to help me." As Thomas glanced behind him he seen a boulder being thrown at him. Thomas jumped to the side avoiding the boulder as he mumbled "The golem's we fought would just attack with their limbs but throwing boulders?" Lily and the others seen the boulder land as they glanced at it they seen Thomas getting up as he was being chased by ten golems. Daisy glanced at Scarlett and asked "What do you think he did this time." Scarlett watched as Thomas continued to run as she pointed at him and said "It doesn't matter what he's done we should help him before those golems actually hit him with one of those boulders." Before anyone else could react Ocis took to the air and swooped down picking Thomas up. Thomas glanced at the golems and said "Thanks for helping me." Ocis stared at him and asked "What did you do?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I took a nap in a tree." As Ocis carried Thomas through the sky the golems began to toss boulder through the air at her. Thomas glanced at the boulder and said "Drop me." Ocis glanced at him and asked "Won't you get hurt if you fall from this height?" Thomas shrugged and said "Only one way to find out, but you should definitely drop me before they hit you." As Ocis dropped Thomas he fell through the roof of someone's house. Thomas stood up and held his head as he mumbled "Who in the hell is trying to kill me?" As Thomas took his hand off of his head he noticed blood on his palm. He stared at it for a moment and said "Daisy is gonna be mad again." Thomas looked around and seen that nobody was their. Thomas walked down the stairs and out of the door as he held his bloody head and mumbled "I should get this patched up soon." As Thomas left the building the three lamia that Thomas had fought stood their waiting for him. Thomas stared at them and asked "What are you three doing here?" They stared at him and said "Tell is three how to summon the ancient or we'll just let the ten golems run wild." Thomas stared at them for a moment before asking "So your just gonna destroy your own village in hopes of power?" The three lamia nodded and said "In a world where the strong control the weak its only reasonable to seek such power." Thomas sighed and said "This is exactly why I don't want power." Thomas turned around and said "I have to stop Your ten golems I'll deal with you three in a minute." They slithered in front of him and said "If you wish to stop the golems you'll have to beat us first." Thomas cracked his knuckles and glared at them with a sinister look as he said "I don't care if murder isn't on the table if your gonna get in my way your gonna die." The three lamia laughed and said "Your hollow threats mean nothing to us." Thomas dashed at the lamias and grabbed one of them by the throat as he said "Choose your next few words carefully." The lamia began to wrap himself around Thomas as he said "My words won't matter if we kill you first." Thomas began to squeeze the lamias throat as he said "You won't kill me, I have the information you need." The lamia began to squeeze as tight as he could as he said "Don't he so sure, you already said you wouldn't tell us, so what's the point in letting you live?" Thomas glared at the lamia and muttered "My body feels like it's gonna shatter at any given moment." Thomas smiled and said "Do your worst, I won't let you destroy this town." The other lamias watched as Thomas and the other lamia attempted to kill one another. Thomas glanced at the other lamias and said "After I'm done with him you two are next." Thomas glared at the lamia he had by the throat as he said "If this is the best you can do then you can go to hell." Thomas began to grip the lamias throat with his full strength as said "I don't have the time to deal with you right now." As the lamias grip began to loosen Thomas shouted "Just die already!" The two other lamias watched in horror as the other lamia slowly died. Thomas continued to hold the lifeless lamias body as he glared at the other two and said "Which one of you wants to die next?" The lamias began to back away as they said "He just killed our only chance of winning." The lamias stared at the lifeless body as they said "Without his magic we can't win."
