Chapter 102 - Chapter 102 A Lamia Girl

As Thomas ran out of the building he held up his arm and said "You can untie yourself from me now." She began to tighten around his arm as she glanced at him and said "I'm too cold to move." Thomas felt her cutting the circulation in his arm as he sighed and asked "Can you at least loosen up a bit?" She nodded and began to loosen up. She stared at Thomas and asked "Do you know where my parents are?" Thomas walked over to the side of a building and sat down and stared up at the sky as he said "I haven't seen anybody else who looks like you." She began to unwrap her tail From Thomas's arm as she looked around and said "This doesn't look like a lamia village." Thomas stared at her as he asked "Are you warming up?" She nodded as she slithered up to him and said "Thank you for saving me, if it wasn't for you I would've been dead before the end of the day." Thomas stood up and glanced at her as he said "You should probably get that blood off of you." She stared at him and asked "What blood, I wasn't hurt?" Thomas held his hands up in front of him showing her the blood dripping off of his hands as he said "It's not your blood." She stared at his hands without saying a thing as he turned around and said "Well I did my part, whatever you do know is completely up to you." As Thomas walked away she began to follow him. Once Thomas arrived at the inn he glanced at it and sighed as he said "Let's just get this over with." As Thomas entered the inn he felt the seal on his chest begin to shock him. Thomas grabbed onto his chest and began to lean on the wall. Lily glared at him as she shouted "Do you have any idea how worried we were after you didn't come back!" Thomas began to fall to the ground as he said "Sorry I ran into Toby." She stared at his hands and shouted "You two fought again didn't you!" As Thomas laid their the small snake girl slithered into the door and in front of Thomas. She stared at Lily and began to shout "Stop hurting him, can't you see he's already hurt." As the pain went away Thomas glanced at her and said "I thought you were going somewhere else." She slithered towards and put her arms on him as she said "I don't know where to go, so I decided I'd follow you." Scarlett stared at Thomas as she said "I'll take it that you found the kidnappers?" Thomas nodded as he said "Actually I was also kidnapped, Toby also got kidnapped and we both broke out and defeated the kidnapper." Daisy glanced at Thomas's hands as she asked "Are you actually gonna let me and Scarlett help you or are you gonna be a pain in the neck?" Thomas began to stand up as he said "I'll let you help me." Lily walked towards the snake girl and said "Your a lamia aren't you?" The girl nodded as she said "The man you were hurting was the one who saved me." Lily glared at Thomas as she said "I wouldn't worry about him, he's normally in much worse shape then what he is now." After Daisy rewrapped Thomas's hands she glanced at the snake girl and asked "What are we gonna do with her." Thomas shrugged as he said "Not a clue, all I know is that the kidnapper is no longer a problem." Thomas glanced at her as he asked "Do you know where your parents could be?" She shook her head as she glanced at Thomas and asked "Could you help me find them?" Thomas sighed as he said "Finding people ain't my specialty." Lily glanced at Thomas and said "Maybe we can find a lamia village on the map and check if her parents are their." As Thomas went to reach into his satchel Ocis stared at his hands and said "Maybe it's best if someone else checks the map." Thomas seen that the bandages were stained red and glanced at her as he awkwardly asked "Can you get it?" Ocis nodded and reached into the satchel pulling out the map and rolling it out on the table. Thomas leaned over the table and activated his spell and began to stare at the map. The snake girl slithered towards the table but couldn't get onto the seat. Thomas picked her up and set her down beside him as he asked her "Do any of these places sound familiar?" After she stared at the map for a while she pointed to a place called Turwin Village. Thomas stared at the place and asked "How did you get past the snowy mountains?" She glanced at Thomas and said "It was a terrible place, I nearly died while we were crossing it." Lily glanced at Thomas and said "You know she's cold blooded and will die from the cold right?" Thomas nodded as he said "When I found her her body was ice cold." Lily glanced at him and asked "How are we gonna get over the mountain and keep her alive." Thomas stared at her and said "I'm sure my book has some sort of spell for this, or something that'll work." As Thomas reaches for his book he got blood on the cover. Ocis grabbed the book out of his hands as she said "I'll flip through the pages for you, just tell me when to stop." Thomas sighed as he said "Alright." Scarlett glared at him as she said "You can't do everything by yourself so stop getting so frustrated when we help you." Thomas glanced at her as he said "I'll work on that but I can't say I'm a fan of needing help." After Ocis flipped through the book Thomas sighed and said "Guess I'll have to improvise." Daisy glanced at him as she asked "How exactly are you gonna improvise?" Thomas held his arm out and said "If I can concentrate on keeping my Blaze spell inside of my arm she can wrap around it and stay warm." Lily glanced at him and asked "Do you really think that'll work?" Thomas shrugged as he said "Its worth a try." Thomas put his hand on the snake girls head and tried to teleport away. As an awkward silence filled the room Thomas glanced at Lily and said "I forgot to mention this put their is another talisman on me." Lily sighed as she said "It's probably just another low tier one so just remove it." Thomas lifted his shirt and began to pull on the talisman. After pulling on it for a few minutes he sighed and said "I guess it's useless." Lily grabbed the talisman and tore it off with ease as she asked "Are you actually unable to remove these?" Thomas stared at the talisman surprised as he said "I'll just go see if this will actually work or not." Thomas put his hand on top of the snake girls head and said "Let's give this another shot." As they both teleported away and appeared in an open field Lily and the others all glanced at each other and asked "Do you guys wanna place bets on when he'll get into his next fight?" As Thomas and the snake girl appeared in the field Thomas glanced at her and said "It'll be best if you stand back." Thomas held his arm out and began to concentrate on his arm as he said "Blaze." Thomas laughed awkwardly as he said "This is surprisingly easy." Thomas glanced at her and said "Looks like we won't have any issues." Moments after saying this his arm was covered with flames that turned the sleeve of his jacket into ashes. Thomas quickly focused the flames back inside of his arm as he sighed and said "Maybe this is a lot tougher than I thought." She watched his arm closely as she asked "Do you really expect me to survive that much heat?" Thomas shook his head as he said "That was just a small mishap, but don't worry I'll be sure not to mess up again." She stared at him worried as she said "But if you mess you can only mess up once." Thomas glanced at her as he said "I won't mess up when it comes down to the real deal." Thomas stared at her as he said "If you don't wanna sit here and watch me practice this you could always go to the hot springs with the others." She stared at Thomas for a few moments and said "I'd appreciate that." Thomas walked over to her and teleported both of them back to the inn. Thomas stared at Lily and asked "Can you take out little friend to the hot springs while I practice this spell?" They all stared at his jacket as they asked "What happened?" Thomas sighed as he said "This spell is a lot tougher then you'd think." Thomas turned around and teleported back to continue practicing the magic.
