Chapter 96 - Chapter 96 King Marcus Vs Thomas

Thomas backed away and glared at the king as he asked "What k-kind of father kills his own daughter?" The king began to walk towards Thomas as he glanced at his elite guard once more and said "This problem doesn't concern you." Thomas shrugged as he reached into his jacket and pulled out one of his wanted poster and shown the king. Thomas crumbles the poster up and tossed it to the side as he said "I'm pretty sure that it concerns me now." Marcus appeared in front of Thomas within the blink of an eye as he asked "How would you like your death?" Thomas stood their without saying a word as he stared at him. Thomas sighed as he said "Sorry Lily looks like I might h-have to get my hand a little more dirty." As the king raised his hand to slap Thomas he said "I'll make your death a quick one then." Thomas stood their and blocked the kings back hand as he asked "Do you really want a w-war to end with a truce and not victory?" Marcus glared at Thomas as he shouted "What good will wasting my men's lives do?" Thomas said nothing as his aura began to grow more and more. As Lily and the others ran Daisy glanced at them and asked "Isn't bolt of rage suppose to prevent mana?" Mason continued to watch the fight carefully as he said "That spell was already active, he's just feeding it more and more mana." As Lily glanced at him she asked "Is he really planning on killing the king, even after I just told him no more killing?" As Thomas's aura grew more and more the ground began to crack beneath them as Thomas said "Then become stronger d-don't fight a losing war, fight a war with stronger men." The king punched Thomas in the face sending him flying into a wall as he shouted "People need time to gain strength." As Thomas hit the wall he went straight through it. As the king walked towards the wall Thomas began to climb out of it as he said "If you don't h-have the time to train your people, find someone to help you w-win the war." The king stood in front of Thomas and punched him into the ground as he shouted "And where will I find someone stupid enough to fight a king five times stronger then me." Thomas stood up and punched Marcus in the jaw sending him flying as he shouted "You f-found me didn't you?" As the king hit the ground a rubbed his jaw as he muttered "Any harder and you might've broken my it." Thomas stood in front of the king as he grabbed him by the head and slammed him into the ground as he shouted "If I'm dumb enough t-to fight a king theirs bound to be others!" As Marcus hit the ground it shattered. Thomas let go of the king and stood in front of him as he asked "What will it take to prove to y-you that you don't need a truce to win?" As the king stood up he asked "How is it possible for you to gain so much strength in just a short time?" Thomas stood their without giving an answer. As the king shook the debris off of himself he grabbed Thomas by the shoulder and said "If I had people like you then defeating that other kingdom would be easy." Thomas pushed his hands away and bluntly said "I ain't no weapon." The king stood their as he said "Your what I need to stop this war!" Thomas looked around and seen the destroyed area as he glanced back at Marcus and said "I'm p-pretty sure I've done enough." As Thomas turned around and began to walk away Marcus grabbed his shoulder and said "I know I'm not in any place to make demands, but please fight for me just this once." Thomas glanced at Marcus as he said "I'm not normally this powerful." Marcus stood their as he said "If you take down our enemy Daisy will be free and I will remove your bounty." Thomas looked up at the sky as he asked "So your expecting me to t-take on another kingdom?" Marcus got down on the ground and began to ask Thomas "What will it take to convince you to help me?" Thomas shrugged as he said "I don't got anything better to do." Thomas stood their absorbing his aura back into his body as he sighed and said "I burnt through a ton of mana." Thomas smiled as he turned around and held up three bottles of empty mana potions as he said "You can just add these to my bounty." Marcus glanced at the potions as Thomas said "I nabbed them from your guards." As Lily and the others ran over to Thomas they glanced at the king as Lily said "Thank you for not killing him." Thomas sat down and glanced at the king as he asked "How do I get this t-talisman off of me?" Marcus stood up and walked towards him as he grabbed it and tore it off. Marcus held the talisman as he said "This is a simple one, with the power you had I expected you to remove it with ease." Lily stared at the king confused as she asked "Why are you two acting like your friends?" Marcus glanced at Thomas as he said "He agreed to help me destroy the enemy kingdom." Daisy glared at him as she asked "You didn't hurt him too bad did you?" Marcus glanced at the damage as Thomas said "Don't worry about me I-I'm fine." As the king stared at Mason he asked "Have you decided to create weapons for me?" Mason shook his head as he said "I refuse to make weapons for you, but I can help your kingdom grow and progress with other inventions." Marcus turned away and began to walk into the castle as he said "I will supply you with what you need so my kingdom can grow into an empire." Thomas yawned and began to fall asleep as he muttered "I might've over did it on my mana." Thomas glanced at Daisy as he yawned and asked "You didn't get t-too banged up did you?" Daisy shook her head as she said "I should be fine." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "I don't think he heard you." Daisy glanced at Ocis as she asked "Why didn't he hear me?" Ocis pointed at him as she said "Because he fell asleep." Scarlett picked him up as she said "After all the mana he used he'll probably be out for a couple of days." Lily glanced at the king as she apologized for Thomas destroying part of the castle. Marcus glanced at her as he said "Don't worry about it, once he defeats the enemy king I'll owe him more then I could ever imagine." Lily glanced at Thomas as she said "We should avoid giving him alcohol, or letting him have it." Scarlett laughed as she said "If he does get his hands on it we'll definitely have a mess to get ourselves out of." Daisy stared at her as she said "That's not funny that could cause us a serious problem." Scarlett glanced at Ocis as she asked "Do you think it's a problem?" Ocis shook her head as she said "Even though he was drunk he did eventually listen to us." Scarlett walked towards a wall and laid Thomas up against it as she asked "Are we still going to that place?" Lily nodded as she said "We can defeat the other king later." Daisy glanced at her as she asked "Shouldn't we deal with the other king first?" Lily shook her head as she said "If we take Thomas their well he's asleep it really will be a surprise." Daisy glanced at Thomas as she said "Ok but if this isn't one of his overly exhausted naps he'll probably wake up on the way their." Lily grabbed the three mana potions as she said "If he used these and was still tired it's definitely one of his exhausted naps." Scarlett picked him up as she said "Then it's settled we better start going." Ocis glanced at Thomas as she said "I bet he'll like where we're going." Lily began to run towards the gate as she cheerfully said "We better get going, we're wasting time." Scarlett and the others followed her as they said "We better hurry." As they all left the king stepped back out of the castle as he said "I apologize for treating you all so horribly before." As he looked around he noticed they were gone. Mason glanced at Marcus as he said "I don't think Thomas I was to hold a grudge so you shouldn't worry about it too much." Marcus turned to him as he said "Well since we have some down time why don't you explain to me how your inventions can help my kingdom."
