Chapter 97 - Chapter 97 Mellow Motions Retreat

As Thomas woke up he put a hand on his head and muttered "Why does being dead feel like a hangover?" Daisy glanced at him as she said "Your not dead but three of your ribs are broken." Thomas glanced at her and asked "Wasn't I suppose to be executed?" Lily glanced at him as she asked "Don't you remember anything?" Thomas glanced at her as he said "Not a thing." Scarlett glanced at him as she asked "Would you like me to set you down?" Thomas glanced at the sky and said "I'd appreciate that." After being set down they began to explain what happened and that he would now have to fight with an enemy king even stronger than Marcus. Thomas stared at them and shrugged as he said "I'm sure it'll all work out." Daisy glared at him as she shouted "I understand that the odds are always against you, but please understand that this may be a fight you can't win." Thomas shrugged as he said "A fight I can't win yet." Ocis stared at him as she cheerfully shouted "I'm gonna get stronger too!" Thomas glanced at her as he said "Then we'll just have to get way stronger." Scarlett glanced at them as she said "Your awfully cheerful." Thomas glanced at her as he said "Heck yeah I'm cheerful that king removed that bounty." Lily glanced at him as she said "You will have to fight for him though." Thomas glanced at her as he said "I'll end up fighting tons of people anyway so what's one more." Daisy glared at him as she said "That one more is probably thousands of times stronger than you." Thomas stared at her as he said "I'm sure it'll work itself out." Daisy punched Thomas as she shouted "You can't just hope to defeat an enemy stronger than you and expect to win!" Thomas laughed as he said "According from what you guys just said that's how I fought Marcus." Daisy sighed as she said "Theirs just no way I can convince you to be more worried about this." As they continued to walk they eventually seen a massive town. As they entered the town three people glanced at them and asked "New comers?" Thomas glanced at him as he asked "What is this place?" The man laughed as he said "Only fools don't know about Mellow Motions Retreat." Thomas stared at him as he mumbled "Unfortunately I've been playing the fool for quite a while now." As Thomas turned to Lily and the others they all shouted "Welcome to your surprise destination!" Thomas stared at them confused as he asked "My what?" Scarlett walked towards him as she said "We've been planing on bringing you here but it took us longer then expected, although you slept through the trip it actually took us a week to get here." Thomas stared at her as he asked "What are we doing at this place?" Lily approached him as she excitedly said "All sorts of adventures come here from all over the world." Thomas glanced at her as he asked "Okay and what do they do here?" Lily glanced at him as she said "This is a famous hot spring town." Thomas looked around at all of the people as he mumbled "If Marcus didn't remove my bounty they'd all probably want me dead." Thomas glanced at them as he said "I'm gonna have to ask you guys for a favor." They stared at him confused as they asked "What do you need?" Thomas pointed to a sign on a building as he said "I can't read any of the signs and if we're going to a hot spring I'm not gonna be able to tell which gender goes to which door." They all stared at him for a few seconds and then huddled up and began to whisper to each other. They all began to whisper back and forth as they turned to Thomas and said "Okay we'll help you." Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "Thats not at all suspicious." Lily walked towards Thomas as she said "We should go to the hot springs now." Thomas said nothing as he thought about what they could've been talking about. As they arrived at the hot springs a building sat in front of them. As they entered the building Thomas heard a familiar voice call his name. Thomas turned around as he seen Fredrick. Lily and Scarlett glanced at each other as they whispered "He might ruin our plan." Fredrick glanced at Lily and Scarlett as he said "It's been a while." Thomas pointed at Daisy and Ocis as he said "I'll just save you the question and tell you their names now, that's Daisy and that's Ocis." Fredrick stared at Thomas as he whispered to him "Are you starting your own harem?" Thomas tilted his head as he said "Harem?" Lily glared at Fredrick as she shouted "What are you saying to him?" Fredrick glanced at her as he said "I haven't taught him anything." Thomas day their confused as he said "Hey Fred, what are you doing here?" Fredrick pointed to a sign as he said "I'm here for the hot springs." Thomas glared at the sign as he said "You didn't have to point to something I can't read." Fredrick glanced at him as he asked "What about your speak in tongues spell?" Thomas turned away saying nothing as Daisy said "He fought a king and over used his mana." Fredrick stared at Thomas amazed as he asked "How did you fight with a king and survive?" Thomas glanced at Fredrick embarrassed as he said "I did it drunk so I don't know." Lily walked towards Fredrick as she whispered "I actually thought he was going to kill the king." Fredrick glanced at Lily as he said "I'm sure he would've if somebody didn't step in." Fredrick glanced at Thomas as he said "You must tell me about your journey." Thomas glanced at him as he asked "Can I leave the drunk parts out?" Fredrick nodded as he said "You May leave those parts out but you must tell me of your victories." Scarlett walked towards Fredrick as she said "I'll gladly tell you about his drunken adventures." Ocis walked towards him as she said "I'll also tell you about his drunken fights." Thomas turned away embarrassed as he mumbled "I'd prefer you didn't talk about the things I've done that I can't remember." Fredrick glanced at Thomas as he said "Aside from all your other stories, what would you say was your toughest fight?" Thomas didn't even hesitate as he quickly said "Opal the fairy queen." Fredrick stared at Thomas in amazement as he asked "How did you meet a fairy queen?" Thomas thought about it for a moment and said "Marlin explained it as a special anomaly that only occurs every now and then, but as luck would have it I was in the exact location at the exact time it was happening and was brought to the fairy realm." Thomas stood their still thinking as he said "She also easily smacked away Toby and torn me shreds." Fredrick stared at Thomas even more confused as he asked "Who's Toby and how were you torn to shreds?" Thomas pointed to his stomach as he said "She blasted a hole straight through me using a wind spell." Fredrick stared at Thomas's stomach as he asked "How are you alive?" Thomas glared at him as he said "Give me a minute, Toby is a hero summoned by a king although I haven't figured out witch king summoned him yet." Thomas glanced at Fredrick as he said "The fairies have a certain fruit that grows on a massive tree in the center of the forest that can temporarily grant immortality." Fredrick stared at Thomas as he asked "How did you obtain the fruit?" Thomas glanced at him as he said "She gave it to me." Fredrick stared at him confused as he asked "Wouldn't a fruit that grants immortality be priceless?" Thomas shrugged as he said "Beats me but I was thrown around like a rag doll." Daisy glared at him as she asked "Are you guys done talking yet?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I suppose we're just about done." Fredrick stared at them as he asked "Are you also here for the hot spring?" Thomas nodded as he said "It's apparently a famous hot spring but I didn't even know it existed." Fredrick stared at Thomas as he said "You haven't changed at all." As they walked in they seen Toby standing at the desk talking to the lady. Lily, Scarlett, Daisy, and Ocis all glared at him as they all muttered "Why is he always interfering with our plans?" Thomas pointed to him as he said "Hey Fred if your so curious about Toby he's standing right their." Fredrick walked towards Toby as he said "I hear your an acquaintance of my friend." Toby glared at him as he asked "Who's this old dude." Thomas smirked as he said "That old dude is Fredrick." Toby stared at Thomas as he smiled and said "I heard you got into a fight with a king." Thomas turned around as he sadly muttered "I still don't remember that fight."
