Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 Ocis’s Date

Thomas stood up and stared at her as he asked "So what is a date?" Scarlett stared at him as she asked "How stupid can one person be?" Lily glanced at Scarlett as she said "It's not really his fault since he can't really remember much and his old village was pretty shabby." Daisy walked towards Thomas and put a hand on his shoulder as she began to explain what a date was to him. As Daisy explained it too him Lily was showing Scarlett the spell book. After Daisy explained it Thomas glanced at Ocis and asked "So we have to wear fancy clothes and eat food?" Daisy stared at him as she said "He didn't understand what I said at all." Thomas stared at her as he asked "How am I suppose to know theirs more to it?" Daisy glanced at Ocis as she said "You can explain it to him." Ocis walked over to him and attempted to explain it to him. Lily and Scarlett continued to read through the spell book together as they attempted to learn new spells. After Ocis attempted to explain it to Thomas she stepped back and asked "Do you understand now?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I think I understand but I'm not giving any guarantees." Daisy stared at Thomas as she mumbled "Something tells me whatever Ocis told him was completely wrong." Ocis grabbed Thomas's arm as she shouted "Then let's go on a date right now!" Thomas ignored the fact that she was holding onto him as he asked "Don't we have to wear fancy clothes?" Ocis continued to drag him as she said "That part doesn't matter." Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "Then what was the point of mentioning it?" Ocis shrugged as she said "Come on let's go on a date." Thomas stared at her annoyed as he said "I'll just trust your judgement and go along with it." Ocis continued to drag Thomas into a nearby tavern as they both sat down Thomas noticed one of his bounty posters hanging by the door. As Thomas seen it he mumbled "How the hell did they even get that picture of me?" Thomas ignored the poster as Ocis continued to drag him further into the tavern. As they both sat down Thomas put his head on the table and mumbled "Why couldn't we have done this when I was feeling more energized." Ocis stared at him as she asked "What should we order?" Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "What's the point in getting so worked up over this?" Ocis stared at him as she nervously said "Normally you go on dates with the person you like." Thomas stared at her as he said "I still don't get it but I'm sure I will soon enough." As a waitress walked over she asked "Would you like our dinner for two?" Thomas stared at her confused as Ocis nodded and said "We'll take that." The waitress glanced at Thomas as she asked "Will you be sharing this meal with her?" Thomas glanced at her as Ocis said "We'll be sharing the meal!" Thomas glanced at her as he mumbled "Why order a dinner for two by yourself?" As the waitress walked back over with the food she set it down on the table and said "We hope you two have a lovely afternoon." Thomas glanced at Ocis who was mumbling to herself "Does she think we're a couple?" Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "What's so special about a date?" Ocis glanced at Thomas as she asked "What do you wanna do after this?" Thomas shrugged as he said "I don't even understand what we're doing right now so I'll just continue to let you decide." As Ocis and Thomas began to eat a man walked into the tavern covered in blood. The man glanced at the wanted posters and then the people around the bar as he stared at Thomas and muttered "A rather large reward to kill a moron." As the man walked towards Thomas he raised an axe and quickly swung it at Thomas's head. Thomas tilted his head so that the axe would miss as he asked "What do you want?" The man smiled as he said "I'm the bounty hunter that's gonna claim all your worth." Thomas stared at him annoyed as he said "I'm in the middle of something so get lost." The man pointed to his bounty as he said "Your the one worth one hundred and five gold aren't you?" Ocis sat their quietly as Thomas stood up and said "That's me but do it some other time I'm in the middle of something." The man slammed his hand down on the table as he shouted "I don't care about your dinner plans when your head is worth so much!" Thomas stared at the man annoyed as Ocis stood up and asked "Should we go somewhere else?" Thomas continued to lock eyes with the man as he said "I already told you that I'd leave the planing to you so if you wanna go somewhere I'll go with you." Ocis grabbed his arm and started to drag him away from the bounty hunter as she said "Come on we can go somewhere without this guy." Thomas stared at the man as he followed Thomas and Ocis out of the tavern. As they stood outside the man approached Thomas once again with the axe as he said "Choose where you wanna die." Thomas stared at the man still annoyed as he asked "Didn't you get the message by now?" The man swung the axe towards Thomas as he shouted "I'm not leaving without your head!" Thomas ducked under the axe and stared at the man as he asked "What will it take to make you leave?" The man stared at Thomas and kept saying that he wasn't leaving without Thomas's head. Thomas glanced at Ocis who appeared to be slightly upset as he mumbled "I may not see the importance of this but it clearly means a lot to her." Thomas glanced back at the man and punched him knocking him away from them. Thomas quickly grabbed Ocis hand and began to run as he said "We won't let that guy ruin this for you." Ocis stared at him as she smiled and asked "Where are we going?" Thomas shrugged as he said "I'm sure we'll think of a place while we run." As they ran Thomas glanced behind him and seen the man getting back up with the axe still in hand. The man began to chase after them while shouting "You can't escape me!" Thomas sighed as he mumbled "Theirs always that one guy who ruins everything." The man threw the axe at Thomas and Ocis completely missing them by a few feet. Thomas glanced back at Ocis as he asked "You alright, the axe didn't hit you did it?" Ocis nodded as she said "The ace didn't hit me." Thomas glanced at the tallest building as he mumbled "Guess its our best bet to escape this guy. Thomas stopped moving and grabbed around Ocis as he teleported to the top of the building. Thomas let go of Ocis as they stood on top of the building. Thomas began to breathe heavily as he said "I've been using my mana all day I'm getting close to my limit." Ocis glanced at Thomas as she asked "Are you alright?" Thomas nodded as Ocis stared at the setting sun as she pointed at it and said "We got a great view!" Thomas sat down as he muttered "Let me catch my breath." Ocis sat down beside him and grabbed his arm while watching the sun set as she smiled and said "Thank you for the day." Thomas glanced at her as he said "We spent most of the day in a tavern and running I don't think it's anything you should be thanking me for." Ocis laughed as she said "I had fun." Thomas stared at the setting sun as he muttered "This whole date thing is confusing." Ocis smiled as she said "You did fine so don't worry about it." Thomas glanced at Ocis as he began to fall asleep while saying "I'm glad you enjoyed it." After watching the sun set Ocis looked at Thomas and asked "Should we head back now?" As she stared at him she noticed that he was asleep and that she wouldn't be getting an answer any time soon." She stared at Thomas and laid his head down on her lap as she said "Go on and rest." Ocis looked up at the starry sky as she said "One day I'll make you mine." Thomas laid their completely motionless as he slept on her lap. Ocis smiled as she said "Take as long as you want I'll still be here when you wake up." Ocis stared at Thomas as she said "I wonder what the others are doing right now?"
